Weight Loss Surgery - Question For Banded Folks

I was wondering, how long was your port side incision tender for after surgery?


I am almost two weeks post-op and while I know that it is going to be tender for a bit, I was wanting to get a round about timeframe. :)

I didn't have a lot of problems; mine was maybe tender for about a week or ten days. But I guess it would vary from person to person.

Trying to remember - hmm, I'd say 2-4 weeks. I am a side sleeper and by the second day was able to sleep in my bed propped with pillows without the port incision bothering me...

I am a side sleeper too. :)

I just seem to notice the tenderness in the side with my port when I am doing things like picking up trash that I missed getting into my trashcan or tying my sneakers in the morning when I get ready to go for my walk.
