Question Non-Egg, Protein Core Breakfast Ideas????

I like to start the day with some protein. Fruit smoothies, oatmeal or cereal are good but I'm less hungry throughout the day if I start with a protein. I just can't eat EGGS everyday. Any non-egg ideas?

I just saw the thread under the recipes section for Core breakfasts but they are mostly eggs and carbs. Hmmmm.

Like Patti, I find that the steel cut oats, or large flake if I can't find steel cut, seem to last a while.

BTW, Soulnik, I love your rewards. I should do that for a little more motivation.

I like toasted whole grain bread or English muffins with low-fat Baby Swiss or Alpine Lace cheese, with lowfat mayo, lettuce & tomatoes. salt & pepper. Drink hot black coffee with it, to bring out the nutty flavor of the cheese--it's lovely!

Virgo, that would cost us some of our precious 35 points. They'd go fast using them every day for breakfast like that.

Wow...sorry. I forget I kinda dropped core since I found it too challenging to figure all those points all the time. Please excuse me; I just saw the lead-in to the thread & failed to notice the "core" issue. My bad.
