100 lb. Club - Um, Hi again

I sort of dropped off the radar there for a while - lost motivation, had a couple of health issues and managed to get back a couple of those bad habits I'd got rid of.
I've been telling myself for a few weeks that I need to get myself back on track, and got the wake up call I needed at my WW meeting this week. It's the first meeting I've been to in about a month and I'd put on 3 pounds. That's not too bad, I suppose, but it's given me the wake up call I needed, and I'm back :)
I get quite frustrated with myself at times - I'm an intelligent woman, and I knew exactly what I was doing. I just got into this habit of telling myself that I'd get back on track tomorrow. On Wednesday after WW, I made a decision that I was back on track from then and there.
I've got an initial goal - we're getting a new uniform at work and I want to fit into a size (or maybe 2 sizes) smaller than my current uniform. Since we won't get the uniform before August, that gives me enough time to get there.
So yeah, I'm back. What have I missed? :D

Hi there! It's been a really long time since I've posted here as well. I know how hard it is to lose the weight and to stay motivated, even when you know what you have to do. I'm still struggling, but I'm confident I can do it, and you can too. The trick is to take it little by little, one day at a time and keep focused.
Best wishes to you, and keep fighting the good fight!. :)

Hi nicolen. It's good to see you back again!!!! I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health issues to deal with. I hope all is well.
Wow, falling off of track and only gaining back 3 bs is pretty commendable. I'm glad to see you've picked yourself up and have gotten back on the wagon. Stick around because, as you know this is a great place for support, advice and encouragment. Things we all need to help us toward our goals. :smug:

Welcome back to the group. We are always here for you.
Good job getting back on track before things got completely out of control. Congratulations!
3 pounds isn't that big of a deal when you think of it. It will be back off before you know it.
Have a great week! :carrot:

Welcome back to the group. I have done the same thing over the past year. I get off track, go away and then come back. The one steady is I know the people here give the support and don't judge you for falling off. They always are happy to see you and make you feel welcome. Good luck!

Thanks everyone - it's great to be back! :carrot: :carrot:
Everything's back on track now - I had to be taken off my epilepsy meds very quickly as there were some quite adverse side effects, so you can imagine what that resulted in! It was lots of fun, I tell you. I'm back on a new med now which is working without sending me toxic. The only bad side is that I can't drive now for at least a year, but with the price of petrol being the way it is, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It does feel like I'm getting there - it didn't feel like I was making any progress at one stage.
Robin, look at you! OMG, you're doing so well - you're such an inspiration, you really are!
Take care everyone, and thanks so much for the welcome back messages

Wow, nicolen, you've been through quite an ordeal. I'm glad they were able to switch your meds up. Sorry about not being able to drive, but I sure as heck like your attitude about it. Gas is a bit pricey these day, ain't it? Maybe it will be an opportunity to get in some extra walking.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm so happy to hear that you find me inspirational. It has been a great and unexpected bonus to my journey.
Good luck to you!!! You CAN and WILL do this. And we're all here for you.
