Hi Y'all,

GYMOOTG, is an acronym for Get Your Mind Out of The Gutter. It was a code my friends and I used to use way back when. I even have it in my grad blurb. I digress,

Anyhoo, my car finally has Ontario plates and the ownership has officially transferred to me (though it has always been my car, it's just I was under my dad's insurance so it was easier to have the car under his name).

Anyhoo, I went to Kelsey's with my parents yesterday for Lunch and decided to have a beef stir-fry wrap, which was good, but they fried the shell of the wrap so I only ate a bit of that.... Can't they make any of their dishes without deep frying it (though I love their food).

That's my gripe for the day, but overall all is good!

See Y'all

Ali

Good morning Ali! (and everyone else!!)

Ali ~ Glad the car deal is done. I know what you mean about fried food, why can't more restaurants have a lower fat section??

Well, my first WI is tonight!! I am excited and nervous too!! I haven't weighed myself in a month, I am sure. I am setting my WW goal to be 135. I would like my personal goal to be 132, but we will see how it goes. I hope the meeting is interesting.

I really think this is what I need to boost my motivation. The real test will be this week and the coming month, holiday time is tough, if I can make it thru, then it should be smooth sailing from there!! :)

It is really quiet at work today. Many people took today off, and they have Thurs and Fri already off, so a nice holiday weekend. I am working on Friday (to man the fort) but it will be a cheesy day for me. I am decorating the office in the morning, and probably watching a DVD on my laptop in the afternoon. SO, if anyone is around and working on Friday, I will be here!! Bored!!!!

I am having Thanksgiving at my house tomorrow for my whole family. It should be fun. I went shopping last night. Wouldn't want to go to a grocery store today, very busy!!!!! :)

Well, better get back to work. I have to teach an Access class in 30 minutes!!!

TTYL!!

Yummy! I can't wait!
Well, ladies, I went to WI last night and lost 4.3#!!!!!!! :D
I did a happy dance on the scale! You know, it's amazing how WW will work if you journal, stay within your points and excercise!
hahahaha
I updated my sig last night when I got home. :)
I have to get a lot of stuff wrapped up since Thanksgiving is tomorrow so I'd better get to work.
I'm eating tomorrow with care since Friday is when my mom is cooking. Yum, yum!
Hi to everyone about to post!
Tonya: Good luck at WI!! I know you'll do great!
Ali: Have a great weekend!
I'll be back on Friday since I have to work!
Be back later,

Yay, Stacey!

Hi to everyone!

Well, my parents arrived last night and immediately started critiquing my house, why hadn't I finished unpacking, why hadn't I dusted, blah, blah, blah. I love them dearly, but sometimes they need to butt out! I guess my problem is I don't particularily like the place I'm renting, so I just don't care. I don't want to sink a lot of money in it, because I don't plan on staying there longer than a year, maybe less. I may break the lease at the end of next month because they had promised to install a new heating system and they haven't even started. It's been two months since the landlord promised to finish the bathroom, which was being redone, and it's still not done, and the work that has been done is sloppy.

I've got to run because my story for tomorrow is due at 2, and I've hardly begun. So Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I have the rest of the week off, so I'll pop in when I can!

I ate 47 pts yesterday! :nono: AAHHHH! :o Here are the good points about yesterday though.

1. I got all my water in
2. I excercised with my buddy's for 2 hours last night (can anyone tell me what the activity points for 2 hrs of aerobics would be?? Just curious)
3. I listened to my hubby and did not eat another bite even though I really wanted to.

I did hop on the scale this morning and have lost 3 pds! I am very pleased. I am also back on track today and I will be calling one of my buddies this evening to let her know that I stayed OP. If I don't she'll come checking up on me! :s:

My buddies and I also decided last night to take a early bird morning water aerobics class at our local swim pool. I'm not looking forward to getting up in the mornings  but I do want to try some new activities for excercise so it should be really fun.

Stacey: Way to go! I am doing a happy dance for you!

Kim: Parent's tend to be way to overcritical. Sorry to hear about the landlord. Our last one was like that to, so we bought a house!

Tonya: have fun at your meeting tonight! I'll be around on friday to.

Ali: Glad the car stuff worked out, sorry about your meal! I wish that ff places would not fry all of their foods either it is'nt necessary. Oh well, at least you did'nt eat it!

Chat later.....

Wow, Emily! you go girl!!
I figured that 120 minutes of low impact aerobics is 10 points, high impact is 14 points and step is 14 points!!
I couldn't do that!!
I didn't do too bad at lunch. I'm trying to figure out how to eat my favorites on Friday and not be blowing my points totally. I guess I'm just going to have to be really active on Saturday. Hmmm. We do have to get the inside of the house scraped so we can paint. I wonder how much activity that would require.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! And for those of us who aren't in the U.S., eat a turkey leg anyways!! :)
Belle, where in the heck are you???
Lolly, where in the heck are you???
Getting back to work...

Stacey... scraping is a good arm workout!!!!

I have 2 Thanksgiving dinners... one tomorrow, one Sat. Though the Sat. one shouldn't be too difficult, since that family is not the best at cooking. So I know I won't be grabbing seconds.

I am so happy to see all the journal posts. I know it definately helps me. I hate to post that I did bad (like today) so I am more aware of what I am eating!!

I have two thanksgiving dinners to attend to as well. One for his family tommorow and then a second one for my family on Friday (my family is having a split celebration this year to involve everyone) I don't plan on pigging out at either one. I always feel sick if I do.

Thanks for the calculations Stacey! I'm glad I burned off that much of my mistakes......so I really only ate about 6 pts over. :smug: I feel better now.

Jen- The online journal is helping me to.....I also like getting ideas off of other people. By the way the pumpkin fluff looks really good I can't wait to try it! Probably next week. Thanks for posting it!

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! :)
