So I haven't been here in like forever.

I am setting myself a goal and invite any one who wants to join me to do so.

Set your own goal, or join me in reaching mine!

I want to have 10 lbs off by the 31st.

Any one else up for the challenge!???

Me! Me! I'll do it!!! I'm a new member and this is my first post! I'm so inspired by everyone here! Everybody is pretty amazing!

I have a 100 pounds to lose, I'm ready for the first ten! :-)

I am in. I have a cruise in June and I would love to lose 15 pounds by June 10th.

My biggest challenge is to be consistant with my diet and my exercise. So far, so good! Being part of this forum makes me accountable and keep me focused!

Blissful, to make sure that I eat enough veggies, I prepare them on sunday night and put them in the morning, I just take one bag for my lunch and another for my break. Makes it so much easier!

don't you find the veggies to be a little "off" by the end of the week???

Or do you just prepare certain long life veggies?

Hi, fellow Vancouverite! Good luck in your goals. :) I haven't set a solid weight goal for May, but I'd LOVE to reach 163 lb sometime this month. Fingers crossed...

Veggies have been a HUGE help to me in my weight loss, and I hope they'll grow on you the way they grew on me; I hated salad when I started this weightloss thing, and now I eat salad without dressing because I actually like the taste! So crazy...

10 lbs would be nice, but I've been sick the last week, so I'll set a goal of 8 pounds by May 31st and secretly cross my fingers and hope for 10 ;) Good luck everyone else!

I would love to get to 259 before my 40th birthday June 22 but the 31st sounds even better. So I'm in. That would rock, although 255 is my my next major milstone.

I weighed myself this a.m. and I am down 4, which I have changed in my ticker!

I think any goal that makes us better healthier people is a good goal!!!!!

I bought some fun colored cauliflower today, purple and orange!

I have never seen that before, so guess what is for dinner tonight!!!!

Congratulations Blissful for your weight loss! It's a great start!!!

I haven't lost anything this week but I know I'm on the right path by the way I feel...meaning more energized! Since I started exercising again, I feel better when I wake up in the morning.

To answer your question blissful, I prepare all kinds of vegetables on sunday night (I just finished!) but I make sure to eat some vegetables on mondays or tuesdays (like cucumbers, tomatoes or asparagus) but I can wait until wenesday or thursday for the pepper, broccoli, turnip, carrots or cauliflower...white, purple or orange ;-) It's a great idea blissful to try a new vegetable!

hMMMM never thought about that.

I bought a wack of veggies today, I just have to finish cleaning them and packaging them for the week.

Hi! I hope its not too late to join, but I would love to lose 10lbs by June 1! I have been on an admittedly self inflicted platuea (Easter candy, I just can't say no) for about 4 weeks. Well, I finally broke it on Saturday by a pound. Anyhoo ---- It would be great to start off June in the 140s. (God knows I haven't seen those numbers for over 10 years :o!)

I want to get rid of 9 lbs. by May you think thats too much. I am on Jenny Craig and have gotten rid of 6 lbs. in 2 weeks but those initial lbs come off easily. May 29th is my birthday and I want to be under 180 lbs.

I have been working out every day and feeling great. I drag myself out of bed and literally have to talk myself into getting out there and exercising..but once I've started..I keep going.

Hi everyone!

I haven't been on this site for a week now...I wanted to come back with good news like "guess what? I lost 4 pounds!!!"...well guess what? I haven't lost anything! lol But I'm still in a good mood and I know I'm doing something good for myself by eating right and taking time to exercise. I don't think I'll lose 10 pounds by the end of may...but I'm hoping I will see a difference in my clothes.

p.s. Blissful...yes I eat turnip has a great sweet taste! Tell me if you try it!

Hello all! I hope that everyone is doing well on their goals......for myself, well, I am going to have to amend mine :(
The good news is that I have lost another lb since I originally posted, bringing my grand total to an even 20lb loss:D But to be realistic, there is no way I'll an additional 9lbs by June 1. Well, at least not in a healthy way!

Sooooo, new goal is to be at 155 or below on June1. I think my birthday (July 2) goal will be 145lb.

Anyways, good going everyone else! Stay the course, I'm with you, albeit a tad slower :p

I am joining this mini-goal of dropping 10 pounds by the end of the month. I will start with the pounds that I already lost since May 1st which is three and shoot to lose the other 7 seven.

Hey, how's everyone doing on this? I can tell I will not have lost ten pounds by the end of May, but I have lost 2-3 lbs this month, so maybe I can make five.

Anybody here? I didn't write down how much I weighed at the beginning of this thread, so I'm not sure what I lost (probably 4-5 lbs), but I am loosing, for sure. I just took another lb off on my ticker for a total of 18 lbs. Twenty is my first goal.

I made it to my first 20 lb loss. I did lose the 10 pounds.
