Sometimes we spend so much time thinking about what's wrong with us that we don't appreciate what's great. So what's your best feature? :carrot:
I would say my lips and eyes. I love both of them, especially when I take the time to put on makeup. I can't wait for my face to slim down so they'll really pop! :D

Thanks for the positive when it's so easy to put too much importance on the negative :)
My eyes and hair -- very thick brownish/red hair and great brown eyes!!!

I think my boobs and my hair...
...and I used to make fun of my eyebrows, but now I'm thinking red is okay.
Nice thread- yay for positivity! :)

Hmm, I am totally going to sound full of myself, but I love my hair, eyes, definitely my eyebrows, lips, eyelashes, my dimple! I also have nice boobs, and in the summer I get really cute freckles.. and that might be it, heh.
I also REALLY appreciate my thighs, they are pretty muscular and can get me thru tons of lunges and squats. Now if only those helped my flat butt!

Editing this to add that I have really great skin as well.

I always liked my face in general, but my eyes especially. Last night hubby was being silly (and romantic) and listing all of the things he likes about me. And he listed my eyes, and at first it just sounded like a sweet compliment, but he went on to say how blue they are, with gray borders and flecks, and it made me realize he really noticed. WOW, blew me away.
I adore my shoulders - its such a weird part to adore, but I do. They are quite square and with the collar bones on show they look great.
Thansk for making me think of that!

I love this idea!!!
I like: my eyes, my curly hair (at times!), my hands, my waist, my curves, my hips, my (post-reduction) breasts. I feel darn good about my body most of the time - it looks pretty darn good under the excess weight. (i.e. even though my hips have some extra padding, I can still see how good the lines are).

I like my:
- eyes
- long nail beds (my finger nails look nice even when they're short)
- muscular build
- height
- skin tone
A short list but it's getting longer!

My eyes--big and brown, and very expressive. I also appreciate that I have very light and "tame" eyebrows--I NEVER wax or tweeze or pencil or dye or anything.
I once worked retail with a guy who said to me, "I bet you get just about anything you want with those eyes." I'd NEVER gotten a compliment like that from a guy before, and I'll probably never forget it (plus, he was an older guy, and I was only about 20, so it was quite flattering)!
I'm also thankful to have soft elbows. My mother always complains about the dry, hard skin on her elbows and asks me how I keep mine so soft. I dunno, that's just how they came! :p
And about the only part of me that looks "thin" when I start losing weight is my ankles, so I spend a lot of time looking at them when I'm doing well :D

My legs and eyes.
According to the hubby nosily leaning over my shoulders its a tie, but my butts the best. *eyeroll*

My best feature is my eyes. They are brownish-green with little flecks of gold in them. I have long eyelashes that I curl with my eyelash curler. A number of people have mentioned that they love to look into my eyes and that my eyes "smile back" at them!;)

It would have to be my eyes. They are a blue that looks almost purple when I wear purple. My husband says he loves that and he loves for me to wear purple for that reason. Also, I have thick, long hair (almost to my knees).
As much as it is needed, it is hard for me to do this! Makes me feel "brag-a-docious!" :^:

My eyes are definately one of my favorites. They're my mother's shape and my father's color. My hair when it isn't freaking out about something; it's thick but fine. I like my smile, but my inability to find a lipstick that I really like drives me nuts. Love that I have nice straight teeth and never had to suffer through braces for them.
I also like my general shape (hourglass); I just want it to be a smaller version! :)
Everyone says I have nice eyes, but when I was five my older sister (who has gray eyes) said that I would be pretty if I didn`t have "caca" (poop) eyes.
That said. I love my feet. Yes, they get callousy. Yes, they technically are Flinstone feet (square, short fat toes). Yes, they don`t look good in every shoe. But when I find a good shoe for them and I paint my toenails they look damn good!

I would say that would be my hair. It's very thick and wavy and I'm growing it long. And it's jet black (naturally) which contrasts with my pale skin.
I want to add feet to that since I try to keep them as soft as possible and they're tiny - but with my massive frame, the tiny feet look silly, kind of comical. Lol.

I love my eyes. They are green and I have very long eyelashes. I've been told I have bedroom eyes. I also love my hair. It is very thick, fine and curly. I'm cutting it all off tomorrow. I hope I like it then.

This required a LOT of thought on my part.
I guess my favorite part on me is my feet and ankles. I have nice long toes and thin ankles that never gained weight even when the rest of me did!

I have to add my teeth to my list too. I've always gotten so many compliments on how straight & white they are. Thank goodness - we would never have been able to afford braces - lol!

Okay, I've always been a geeky nerd, don't know how to dance, flirt, or use make-up, & don't get the beauty thing. If somebody likes my eyes or hair or anything else, that's their choice, to me they're... eyes & hair. But I'm apparently not so ugly that my brain is my only good feature, according to my ex's!
So, best guess is that my open and friendly expression wins out. In a crowd of say, 300 people, the bored hosewives, the homeless with their hats out, the jaded salespeople & public servants, and anyone with a story, all seem to line up in front of me! If I get in the front door of a crowded bus in rush hour, people start coming forward from the back seats, just to talk.... (And you gals all know how awkward & geeky I really am, just from these boards!) Go figure!
Anyways, it's really neat to see that so many of us do have a sense of their own beauty, despite our culture's message that obesity = obscenity. I'm so thankful for this forum, it's such an island of balanced sanity, and what a great thread is this, to display it!

I love my nose. Not too big, not too small, not too round, not to pointy...it's just a great nose! And if I were to ever get amnesia I would still be able to recognize my Dad and my brothers because we all have the same nose - well, mines a little bit nicer since I've only broken mine once! i

Eyelashes. With mascara I get accused of wearing false eyelashes but nope, they're real! And I don't have to use a curler.

gah, this is so hard. i guess my eyes and eyelashes, although now with glasses they are kind of covered up. My cleavage is nice - for other people to look at. *LOL* they don't have to carry 'em around though. I have nice straight teeth which get compliments a lot.
becoming - i have the same problem- apparently I am approachable. I haven't figured out why this is, but strangers love to start talking to me. I used to think it was them, but it kept happening and someone mentioned maybe it was me. I'm so shy and awkward, but I guess they don't notice.
Wow, I pretty much took away each compliment I gave myself. That's sad. Really my best feature is unbridled honesty. I will always tell the truth, and always voice my opinion. People may not always appreciate it, but I hold it as my number one priority and value.

I have a sexy strut, heh. Is it weird to like the way I walk? Actually you know what.. I'm NOT ashamed to say I love nearly everything about me! I keep thinking of things I like about myself, hehe.. I'm pretty humble, honest - but I also think "wow, I'm nearly perfect - I would want to be with myself!". lol, feel free to slap me for being so full of myself..

I'm usually told eyes, lips, hair....one of those three. If it's my fiancee he says all three, but he's biased. ;)
