Weight Loss Surgery - Has anyone over-indulged the last few days before thier surgery date?

I was wondering if anyone had a 'farewell to my old stomach' meal before getting the surgery done.

I decided to have shrimp cocktail tonight with a whole lobster (I live on the East Coast, so fresh seafood is everywhere). It wasn't too much food- a few shrimps and a small chicken lobster, but it was so much fun! Lobster is much too expensive to eat on a regular basis. It made me feel so special having that fancy meal!

I could've spent all day today or yesterday cooking up a lavish 'last' meal, but the excitement of my upcoming procedure has curbed my appetite a bit.

Anyone else have a fabulous 'last' meal? :dizzy:

LOL...I plead guilty to that one...I had all the soda, subs, chocolate, and the cheesiest, meatiest, greasiest pizza and Mexican food I could handle up until the night before surgery...:D

Since then, the only thing out of all the 'old' foods I've had is very little pizza, and it's been the grilled chicken and veggie kind with low fat cheese and thin crust. The rest have been healthy things.

I ate a large hoagie at the local shop. That doens't sound bad but that thing is 20 inches of hard roll stuffed to the brim with deli meats lettuce and tomato! What is great is now I can only eat half of what they call a mini which is still a 7 inch hoagie.
