I love this sight. I just found about this site when I did a google for losing weight on Prednisone. It pulled up a thread and gave me hope and some good advice. So I thought I would join.

Little bit about myself, Im 44 and need to lose about 67 lbs. I was just recently diagnosed with Rhuematoid Arthritis and put on Prednisone and Methotraxate, some yucky drugs. Last fall I had lost 30 lbs on WW but now have gained back 10 lbs from the meds.

So I thought I would try a low carb diet and go on here and see if I can beat this thing.

Everyone sounds so nice and full of good advice. Thanks Kris

Check out the Dieting with Obstacles forum--you aren't alone in having some challenges to deal with. Lots of success stories, too! And also, there is Diet Central with many individual forums for different food plans.
