I need to get my life back in order. Why is that you ask. Well because for the past two weeks I have devoted my entire life (and I jest not) to the Nokia game. Not sure if you guys have heard of it, but for the past 3 years, Nokia has held an interactive game over Europe which is mainly played online. Apparently this year about 600,000 are playing. What are we playing for.... the chance to win a Nokia 5510, which cost £250 which hasn't yet been released (but which my hubby went out and bought yesterday). Why am I playing when I am not a natural gamer - I don't know. Why am I setting my alarm for 4am to log on and get to the next stage - I don't know. The really sad thing is, is that I know that I will not get into the last 50 (for the UK to win a phone) and I know I will probably buy it, so why am I playing. I am convinced Nokia has put a brainwashing device into their phones and that I am being forced to play. How gullible are we? One of the tasks this week to gain extra points was to "send" a ficticious email (as part of the game) to four friends. Me thinks we are all helping to compile a mailing list for Nokia. Then I spent 6 hours on Friday evening trying to finish one game - when others had finished in 10 minutes and had posted the cheats on the web. Please someone send me a cyber slap, so I can get my life back :D
The final is this Friday, which I already know I won't get to, but I still continue to play, so next week I should be back to "normal" :s:
Hi to everyone, have a great start to the week. Just had a thought - maybe I should start getting my act together now, so that by the time the bump (RR we need a bump naming thread?) arrives it will have a slim transatlantic cyber auntie

OH man, I am not handling the fudge very well! I'll be glad when it is gone. It is just so tasty. I really need to require more of myself than to just let myself indulge. Hmm. Something to think about.
BFB - sorry about the game thing. I can see how those things could get addicting. Luckily I've never played any. Good luck on bringing your life back to normal!
I did kick up the exercise today to help with the fudge factor and walked over 4 miles. I'm now at 816.142 miles this year.:D

Oh, I had such an eating weekend. I know I'm nuts but I used to be able to eat whatever and not really give it a thought (which is probably a good part of the problem) but now that I'm trying to be good I feel SO GUILTY when I even eat normally. I'm not sure if my stomach has shrunk or if I'm just not used to feelings so full but I was feeling so bad this weekend. It was a huge eating weekend. I had 4 meals out!! This is so hard for me. And I don't think I was really bad at all but I certainly ate more than I would have at home and then I feel so bad. I need my head checked or something but anyway I know I'll feel better if I just stay OP for the next few days. It took all my willpower not to weigh myself today because I knew it would be up and then I would feel bad so we'll see how long I can go on. Don't mind my ramblings, I know I'm nuts!!
Rabbit - as you can see I can certainly sympathize with you. I know I could never control myself with fudge. One piece would be two and then I'd do that a couple times a day and you know what happens. Good luck getting rid of it all. I do the best when I give it away.
RR - hope you're feeling well rested after the 4:30 am call! Maybe you just need to work in a few 16 hour sleeps!!
BFB - I totally understand your addiction and all you can really do now is wait until it's over (since that's soon) and hope you can get back to normal. You'll probably feel better when you do so good luck!
Have a good day,
11-19-2001, 12:29 PM
What a busy weekend I had! Cleaned like a mad woman Saturday and Sunday, went food shopping Sunday AM, had Mom, brother, sil, niece and nephew over Sunday afternoon and evening for dinner. It was nuts...I've never had 7 people in my little apartment!! I said to DH, good thing we have service for 8!! It went good though, everyone had a great time. Too bad my neighbors from he** weren't home so they could listen to my niece and nephew run around the floors the whole time.
Elisa- I always feel guilty after over-indulging, but unfortunately lately I have not. My goodness, don't feel guilty for just eating normal!! Be proud of yourself for being OP!!
Rabbit- What was that about a 1.2 lb. loss last week?? Do you want it all back? Step away from the fudge!!
BFB- What is it about this game?! Are we talking about a cell phone?! $250. for a cell phone?? Is that Euros? 250.00 European euros = 223.68 US dollars...crazy for a cell phone!! Is it coated in gold?
RR- Speaking of Cyber Aunties...what are the official name choices? Did I see Andrew somewhere? I like Andrew. Do keep us posted...we need sonogram pics, etc.!!
Have a great day all!!
11-19-2001, 12:36 PM
Well, this weekend we bought a scale. Yikes! I left WW at the end of August and we haven't had a home scale since about May so it was a humbling experience to see some actual numbers. My clothes have been tight. I've felt the weight but I didn't know what it would really be. Wake up call! Now vegetables and water are back in my life. Oh, and it is one of those Tanita scales that measures the body fat... even MORE horrifying than knowing my weight! DH and I are both going to try to lose weight and work together on it. (He has much less to lose than I) My weigh in day will be Sunday. Wish me luck. :)
Elisa, I think you have a good plan. I mean, healthy, fit, people without weight problems have big eating weekends sometimes and that's what they do... eat well for a few days after. So, I think it is a smart idea.
Rabbit, you are so good with the exercise! do you ever stop for any period of time or has it become a real part of your life? I tend to go in waves. (like with the food and water) I am impressed that you are so consistent. You are stronger than fudge! Good luck fighting it! :)
RR, ug... little people up at 4:30 just doesn't seem good. :)
BFB, good luck! Sounds like it will be over soon. I get easily addicted to games though none have been online.. just computer games or system games. So I understand the obsession.
ok.. I'm posting my weight so it is out there. It is my highest all time ever excluding the end months of my pregnancy. Anyway now I have something of a starting point to measure my progress from here.
starting weight 211 :( (soon to be less)
11-19-2001, 12:39 PM
Lauren, just wanted to say hi! :) Your post popped in while I was typing. Sounds like a fun weekend and productive too!
11-19-2001, 01:54 PM
I was at the ivillage.com site this morning and they've got some great articles on holiday fitness & dieting. Anyway - one ounce of fudge takes 20 minutes of aerobic exercise to work off!!! (OK, that's for a 130 lb woman, so it wouldn't take me as long, but you get the picture!). One little tiny ounce! That surely ought to scare me off fudge! Just look at it & see 20 minutes of aerobics . . . not worth it!
Elisa - 4 meals out would be SO hard! But you don't think you did bad, so don't stress. A couple op days & you'll be all set.:)
Lauren - sounds like a nice family dinner!:D Thanks for the encouragement - I need help!!
Happy - I have a tanita scale and they are very frightening! Good luck with you & dh's new plan. Exercise has totally become a part of my life. I rarely miss a day. I always try to do something active on the weekends, which is easier in nice weather! And more fun.
have a great day all. I'm back to really counting my points today. Fudge is evil.
11-19-2001, 05:49 PM
I know some of you girls have ordered stuff from Old Navy...how do they run? Small, big? I just ordered 2 sweaters from their website and they only go up to XXL...so that's what I ordered. That's also what size I wear, but since they're not a "Plus Size" store, I don't know how they run...ya' know?
I'm off to the gym in a little bit...so that maybe they will fit eventually!!
11-19-2001, 07:05 PM
good evening all!!!!
Lauren--I have Andrew Jacques for the boy and DH picked out Alicia Nicole for the girl..DH's dads name was Jacques soo I wanted to name the boy after him..He passed away when DH was little...I find Old Navy about normal in sizes....pretty much the same as other stores..I love their clothes-I ordered some half priced maternity clothes for the summer since they are half priced!!!!
Rabbit--I am lucky about the chocolate..This pregnancy has turned me away from sweets...Hate them..I crave pepper jack cheese and grits!!!!!
Dani--Congrats on getting back on track!!!!!
I was really upset today....This girl said to me "I cant even recognize U, U have gotten soo fat....I was offended cuz I have gained .5lbs and still wear the same clothes..I wore my outfit I had for my rehersal for a shower this weekend. People are soo mean sometimes...
Well, have a great evening!!!
11-20-2001, 09:13 AM
RR - those are beautiful names, it's so exciting but I can't believe you have to wait so long to go to the doctor. It seems so crazy although I understand why. I can't believe what that girl said to you, some people are disgusting. The same thing happened to my SIL when she was pregnant (and had gained a bit of weight) but that is soooo mean. Especially since you haven't even really gained any weight but just ignore her. Some people are just like that and it often comes from jealousy.
Lauren - I've bought stuff from Old Navy and I find their sizes vary. In pants I find them pretty good but for tops I sometimes find them small but it varies from top to top. Sometimes I buy the XL and sometimes I need the XXL but I think with sweaters you should be okay. I'm assuming you can return them if they don't fit?? I have the same problem with The Gap, you can't assume what size you are because even their pants are all different. It can be frustrating.
Rabbit - it's so enlightening sometimes when you read those articles. Like yesterday I was sooo good until someone at work brought in their homemade chocolate cheesecake which I knew I should stay away from. But I didn't and I know how bad cheesecake is. I only had a really small piece but still, I knew better!! And that was after my bad weekend! But I'm mostly back on track and hope to be okay for my offical TD weigh in. And then we can talk about our next goal. Although I think for XMAS it might just be to maintain.
Happy - I also have a scale I love and it was the best purchase I've made - you can never fool yourself again. While I weigh almost every day (which may not work for everyone) it totally keeps me in line. This is usually how I gain weight back - I ignore the scale for a while but if I do it everyday the 2 lbs should never turn into 5 or 10 etc. Mine doesn't do body fat but it's a really accurate digital scale and does the half pound and it's made a huge difference for me so good luck to you.
BFB - are you out there????? or still playing that game?? Come back..........
11-20-2001, 09:23 AM
Just a quick stop by...
Still playing this freaking game - know I ain't gonna win, but still playing. Went to bed at 2am this morning coz of it. The really sad thing is that they set up a chat room and we are all in there swapping cheats - I mean downloading a morse code decoder at 1am is just madness. Yes the phone is £250 - no it is not plated in gold and the really sad thing is, I guess I will go out and buy it :D
RR - Lovely names, Alicia (hope I spelt it okay) is beautiful :) . Ignore the mean lady - just jealous I guess or just being ignorant
everyone else, I will stop by and do better. Can anyone recommend a good home scale to buy. Don't have one indoors, but as leader has left WW, gonna do it at home for a while, so would be grateful for any recommendations.
Cheers me dears......Life will be back to normal soon - I hope :s:
11-20-2001, 11:08 AM
Well, I went to the gym last night, did a half mile on the boring old treadmill...but I made it a good half mile, walked slow, then faster (3.5), then inclined (3), then stopped. Then I did the machines, 3 sets of 10 for all of them, then 150 crunches (with the ab roller thing). I felt productive, even though it doesn't sound like much. Then of course there's the FEEP!! Now there's something we haven't talked about in awhile!! For those of you that are new...FEEP = Fun Earned Exercise Points...use your imagination to figure out what "Fun" consists of!!
BFB- I have a Tanita scale that measures by the half pound and does body fat. I love it, it does memory for 2 people.
Elisa- Yes, I can return them to the store if I need to. I am hoping they'll be OK, will just have to make sure I wash on delicate and hang dry!
RR- You just completely ignore that selfish witch!! Please, a 1/2 pound gain?? That's nothing!! You're probably bloated!! Love the names, very nice.
Rabbit- Have not been to ivillage in awhile, thanks for reminding me about them! It's a great site.
Dani- Great that DH is gonna do this with you! It's soo much better with two... (isn't that a line from Piglet or something?!)
Have a great day all!!
11-20-2001, 12:40 PM
Haven't been around in a couple of weeks. I've been feeling sorry for myself and eating junk and not drinking water, so I'm feeling bloated. I'm with a few others and need a giant kick in the rump to get back on track. I'm trying to decide if I want to go to WW tonight or just skip it for a while and try to do it alone, but that never works so....
Actually today I'm just procrastinating :^:. Thanksgiving dinner is here and I need to go grocery shopping and I hate it. Oh well, time to buck up and get moving.
LBH - Sounds like you had a great Sunday. Any chance you'd like to come here to clean .
Elise - One weekend did not an overweight girl make. Hang in there and turn it around, you can do it.
RR - Some people just say the worst things. My sister just told me she's PG this weekend. She's about a month or so behind you :). The names are really nice, I'm just trying to figure out how a Yooper got a name like Jacques they're usually Hans, or some other Finish name.
Rabbit - Hope putting that fudge into perspective helped. Glad I'm not a sweets junkie, now the chips on the other hand......:(
BFB - Sometimes those mind numbing games are what we need to disappear from reallity for a while. At least it has a time limit, so you should rejoin the real world soon. And over $350 (I think the exchange rate is $1.5 = 1 pound) for a phone that's crazy!!!
Dani - Welcome back! Good luck getting started again.
Gotta go shopping :( !!
- Tech :spin:
11-20-2001, 01:37 PM
Just jumping in. :) Don't mind me. :D
I've been lurking in y'alls wonderful threads for a while now -- and figured this was as good a time as any to begin chatting. :) I'm one of those WW folks who doesn't attend meetings but goes in for weigh-in. I get my support here online and that works well for me.
I've only just begun to really exercise formally; we've always been hikers and walkers -- but now I'm headed to the gym five or six times a week as well. Its been very cool seeing the improvements in my stamina and strength!
Anyway -- just a first hello. Hoping to get to know y'all better over time. :)
11-20-2001, 02:56 PM
Hi slutbunny and welcome! Feel free to chat away with us!! Sounds like you're doing great! I have to ask though...how did you come up with your User ID?!
11-20-2001, 04:30 PM
My ID came from a conversation I had on a board like this -- but dedicated to a different topic -- several years ago. We were talking about women, privacy, the 'net -- and one of the fellas I was talking with declared that to be truly safe online a gal needs to keep her ID tame and sexless. I said something like, "I'll be known as Jenanne, Daphne, slutbunny or whatever the heck else I want" during that chat -- a 'lo, a few weeks later I found myself in need of a new ID and remembered slutbunny from that conversation. :) I keep it because it amuses me to be a 30-something Catholic, dull-as-dirt mom with the moniker "slutbunny", ya know?
And thanks for the welcome! Just returned from 50 minutes on the elliptical trainer -- a record for me! Wahoooo!
11-20-2001, 04:41 PM
Hi and welcome Slutbunny.... gotta get back to my mind numbing game :s:
11-20-2001, 05:26 PM
:lol:LOLOLOL!!! I am practically on the floor laughing slutbunny!! Good for you on the elliptical!!
BFB- Don't make me send one of my contacts from London over there to tie you up so you can't play that game!!
11-20-2001, 07:04 PM
I am no longer a rabbit - I am only fudge. UGH!
Obviously I still haven't conquered the fudge problem. Get it out of the house, you say? Well, I have to bring fudge to Thanksgiving so that's why it is around. I was planning to make cookies each week in December to send with dh to work. I am rethinking that plan. If I do it, I will have to make them & send immediately. I can't keep messing with myself.
RR - Hmm. Now that I'm thinking about it, I craved chocolate when I was pregnant!! My roommate made me brownies w/chocolate chips in them! About the girl, my that was rude! Don't let her get to you!
Elisa - Now I think I need to go back & print one of those articles and hang it on my fridge to get me through this!! I have been staying away from my scales because I am afraid!
BFB - Hope you win that darn phone! I have the same scale LBH has.
Lauren - yeah on the great workout!
Tech - good to hear from you! I'm still working on my fudge problem.
Slut - Welcome! Funny about your name & then your description of yourself.
Have a good day all - remember all that we have to be thankful for!
RABBIT . . . AKA FUDGE
11-20-2001, 07:27 PM
Just hanging out from dry heaves and yucks!!!!ANdrew will definately be worth it though~
Tech--Had to giggle~~The yooper is his mom, His dad was from Pa somewhere!!!!Great to see U back!!!!!
Lauren--Feep was very exciting until now when I am asleep within seconds of getting to the bed!!!!  4 more weeks of the first trimester and then maybe the energy will be back!!!!!
Elisa--the ob/gyn are different here...I will see my doctor next Thurs..SOme make U wait until 12 weeks cuz they know that most miscarriages are unavoidable and happen in the early weeks..
Welcome to the group Bunny!!!!
11-21-2001, 09:27 AM
Good Morning Everyone!
Wecome to SB - can I call you SB?? Love your name! Drop in any time and let us know how you're doing. Congratulations on the exercise - so impressive. I try to be good with the gym but I don't always succeed!!
RR - sorry to hear you're not feeling so well but I can tell you don't really care and I'm sure it's all worth it. So exciting you're going to the doctor soon!!!
Fudge - While I sympathize with your troubles I had hoped you had learned your lesson by now! Want a reality check (and I have to do this to myself on occasion) get on the scale. If you see what damage the fudge has done, you'll probably stop and if it hasn't done any damage then enjoy - and send me some fudge!!! I was also planning on doing some baking next month for gifts etc but I'm also not sure it's such a good idea - haven't decided yet. I either have to bake things I don't like (whatever that may be I'm not sure) or accept that I'll be tasting everything, which is a bad plan.
Tech - nice to hear from you - did you end up going to WW? This is such a tough time of year!
Time to do some work,
11-21-2001, 12:00 PM
RR - glad you have that first appointment next week - how exciting!
Elisa - ok, ok. Thanks for the reality check. I'll go step on the scales. I am afraid!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FRIENDS!!
I'll try to check back in.
11-21-2001, 05:56 PM
4 more weeks of the first trimester....I dont think I hit my cardio fat burning level today cuz I did 15 minutes, threw up, 10 minutes, stopped almost threw up and then went home and slept for 3 hrs!!!!Feeling much better with the caffeine free diet coke and red twizzlers....
Fudge--Nice name!!!I say get pg and then the chocolate craving will be gone!!!Trust me, I hate it!!! :dizzy: :dizzy:
Well, at 10pm tonight, it was exactly 2 yrs ago that I chatted with REfman!!!!I am trying to talk him in to chatting from the other computer, me on this one, and then "meeting" for a rendezvous!!!!!  Hmmmmm..can I stay awake????
11-21-2001, 09:50 PM
RR - You are too funny   - dh would die if I got pg! Although I did love being pregnant! But it seems a little late now as we have 3 in college!
Is it possible to have gained 4 pounds since last Thursday??:( :(
I'll be missing for a few days - talk to you all probably Saturday.
11-22-2001, 08:31 AM
Happy Thanksgiving guys (hope I got it right :D )
11-22-2001, 09:20 AM
To those of you out there who celebrate today - Happy Thanksgiving! Have a great day, enjoy, eat (but not toooo much) and have fun with your families.
For me, I don't know what's wrong with me lately (maybe Fudge has gotten to me). I had been so good for so long but the last few days - yeesh! And yesterday I had way too many low fat oreos. I can usually stop at 2 or 3 but not yesterday and then there was the rice krispy square AND a little chocolate. Maybe I've been trying to be so good during the day that I'm so hungry at night - or maybe it's just me being bad. But I'm trying to keep it in control and make today better than yesterday. I'm going to put down a goal in the XMAS day goal thread - not too big of a goal so I don't get depressed if I missi t but something.
Fudge - did you really take my advice and get on the scale??? 4 pounds in one week?? possible but I have a feeling it will be easy to get rid of when you get back on track. Which I imagine will be after this weekend. So enjoy for now and worry about it on Monday.
Anyway, I hope you're all having a great day - try to pop in if you can and say hi.......
11-22-2001, 09:28 AM
I am up early having my 1 cup of coffee and enjoying every minute of it!!!!Well, I slept through last night(poor Refman!!! )but I was up early this morning!!!!It is soo funny how I can sleep 20hrs a day if I wanted!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!!I may even have some turkey with gravy today!!!!As long as I dont see the bone, I will be fine!!!
Refman and I decided this Christmas to buy stuff for each other that we need...We are both very practical..He bought the most wonderful leather sofa and love seat and I am surprising him with a big leather recliner to match!!!It will be delivered on Friday when he is playing hockey ref!!!!
I bought a new mattress for the bed and he bought a carpet steamer/cleaner!!!!He took a week off and the house is wonderful!!!!Mom Refman is comming in Dec for a month...She is soo excited about the baby!!!
Well, off to go around the neighborhood this morning!!!!
Dont let the eating monster get to anyone today!!!!!!:s: :s:
11-22-2001, 11:47 AM
Good Morning! :)
Happy Thanksgiving to all whom this applies. :)
RR, sounds like a wonderful plan to get things for the house. (and very nice things too!!) Wow, Momref is coming for a month! Do you get along well with her? I'm glad she is excited about the baby! Have a great day! I cannot believe that person said that rude thing to you! That doesn't make any sense!
Hi Elisa, hope you get back on track. I have been having the problem of eating really well during the day and then going nuts at night. I have been too hungry and worried about doing this and I take it out by eating. I need to balance more of food so I am not so hungry in the evening before dinner. Good luck!
Fudge...er ah. Rabbit. :) Sorry to hear the fudge has taken over. I don't know if you can gain 4 in one week that easily. Maybe it will come off as easily. Good luck and have a great day.
Welcome SB... I am glad Lauren asked you about your name because I was going to ask the same thing. I like the story of how you thought of it. Welcome to our group. :)
BFB, is that game over yet? I think I have the same scale as LBH and Rabbit. (the tanita) It is supposed to be accurate.
Tech welcome back to you too. :) Good luck getting back on track.
Lauren, yes it is good that dh and I are doing this together... it isn't really all the stuff though. We are weighing in together but not following a similar plan. We're leaving that to each individual. (which so far, for me, is not working. I am not doing well)
I must go now! Have a great day, everyone!
11-22-2001, 03:14 PM
Happy Turkey Day!!!!!!
Well I think it might be New Year's in my house though. I am thinking of all the little things I need to do in order to change my life for the better.
I have been going backwards in lots of areas. Food---Men---Smoking!! I want to go forward! So I have been doing that self reflecting!!
Hope we all have a great day!!!
11-22-2001, 11:18 PM
Hope you all had a wonderful day! :)
BFB, I just ordered myself one of those Enell bras. Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, it was very pricey but hopefully will be worth it. I will let you know when I get it! :)
Pryia, sorry to hear of your back sliding. (need more info on that men thing) But I'm glad you are starting anew. No need to wait till New Year's. Since we've talked, my mom and sister have both stopped smoking. For the first time in my life, my parents' house is smoke free. If those 2 can do it so can you!
11-23-2001, 08:37 AM
Okay notice it is 6:30am.... I do not have to work. So why am I up!! My mom called to tell me how packed Walmart is. THANKS MOM!
The Tania scale is on sale at Target for 38 bucks. I put my order in to Santa (mom) I used my scale this morning and it had better be wrong!!!
Hope you all had a great Turkey Day!! Ours was relaxing and nice. Lots of leftover turkey though. But I am back to counting points. So I will behave. Should get rid of that ice cream though.
Dani-will email you soon.
Today's check in complete....but will give you all an update later.
11-23-2001, 10:19 AM
I am up early sitting around doing nothing..Thought about going shopping but not into crowds this year...Refman is refing a kid hockey tournament and he took SD#2 to daycare soo I am on my own!!!!I think I will scrapbook today!!!I am this year behind, and didnt even start on the 20 rolls of honeymoon pics yet!!! :dizzy:
The best part about eating at someones elses house on holidays, is that U have no leftovers here!!!!!
WEll,I guess I should do some walking this morning!!!!
Have a great day!!
11-23-2001, 09:44 PM
Whoa! In my recent absence I think I missed out on knowing that you scrapbook, RR! I am passionate about scrapbooking. I am also this year behind! :) I just spent 3 hours (a rare luxury) scrapbooking the last of 2000! I also filled an albulm so I will be starting a new albulm with the beginning of 2001. I too, don't want to deal with the crowds so I did a LOT of online shopping over the past several days. I pretty much took care of the kids on our list (all 12 of them) and it is stress free, no crowds!
Pryia, I am so glad you had a peaceful Thanksgiving. (looking forward to that email so I can get caught up with you) I did not cook but I still have pie anyway. I love apple and pumpking pie! Did you go shopping today? I know at least 3 people who went out around 6 or 6:30am. I cannot fathom crowds at that hour! The sales must be unreal!
Happy Weekend, everyone! :)
11-23-2001, 10:40 PM
No shopping for me! Went and got the kids glasses fixed. and found the pair I want. And hopefully am ordering in a few weeks. I hate the ones I have now. Bought the kid a pair of gloves. Because I know this warm weather can not hold out forever!!
I started counting points again. But I am starting at 5pm and going to 5pm the next day. I count dinner, breakfast, lunch as my day. Just to see how things work. If I can stay in my range a little better.
Dani- I will email you sometime this weekend.
Watched the last dance and really liked it. Good thing cause I own it now.
Hoping for a good best buy sale. I won a 100 giftcard at my holiday party. Used part for the kid and the rest is for ME!!!
Hope all is well

I am sitting here listening and smiling at SD#2 singing at the top of her lungs Arerica, Arerica(her version has no "M"!!!:D ) and waiving her little American flag!!!She had the tune down but the words are a little jumbled!!!I am soo proud of her speach with her new therapist!!!!
Dani-I had the house to myself soo I am now up to April!!!!I am doing a seperate album for the wedding things and honeymoon...I love it..They opened up a little scrapbook store down the street and U can pay $5 and stay all day and use their scissors and things..REally nice to get ideas from people but I had to have the bathroom too close by soo I stayed at home..
Smart to internet shop!!!!
I am spending less this year on people I think...I am saving to do my baby room...We started already by at least cleaning out the 4th bedroom...I did buy a really nice Futon with a real mattress for mother-n-law and that way the room has a sofa/bed and room for the baby bed....
Have a Great Weekend!!

I am sick. :( Went to the doctor yesterday, figuring it was a sinus infection. She never did give me an answer, but she took a throat culture to check for strep. I'm pretty miserable, but I wanted to get on and see how everyone's T-day was. Ours was nice, but I didn't feel too well, so I couldn't wait to get home. Everyone raved about my broccoli casserole and pumpkin pie. One person even said it was the best pumpkin pie he ever had...guess he doesn't have it very often!! It did turn out good though.
I really wish the doctor would've given me a Z-Pak, which is Zithromax, which works great for me and I only need to take it for 5 days. She said since I am not on the pill, she's treating me as if I'm pregnant and gave me Erythomycin, because it's proven safe.
I'm gonna run, need to lay down or something, head hurts. Hope everyone's having a nice long weekend.

The reason I came here was to let you all know I have 1 hour!! and then I will have been OP for 1 day. It has been a long time. But I feel good that I did it. I even banked points. Imagine that!!
Moved the livingroom furniture around. Looking for a place to put the tree. Nope not putting it up yet. But I wanted to clean the livingroom so it is done.
Have to go to the grocery store. Thinking chicken quesadillas for dinner. Really love them and can make them low in points. Plus to be honest we just need food.
Feeling good about today. And ready to kiss those 5 chirstmas goal pounds away!
Guys we have to stick together and not let others make us or our group feel bad. We have been together for 2 long for that.

I WAS OP FOR 1 DAY!!! WOO HOO!!!
Actually it was really easy to count from 5pm to 5am. Much easier than it has been for me in a long time. Don't know if it is because I am just sick of this weight or what.
I went to the store and bought a few WW friendly foods. No candy or regular soda. I have to get water. But did not feel up to walking home caring 2 gallons of water. I must have slept wrong cause my neck hurts.
But I feel really good that I stayed within my points and journaled.
Have a great one .....see you tomorrow!!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We did & I'm happy to be back home. I did do a little shopping yesterday & it was crowded! Bought myself a wool coat though at the Gap that I needed and love.:)
Today I am back on plan. And boy do I need it. I worked out this morning with sd at the gym & she showed me a new workout to do, so that was fun. I've been doing the same thing for a long time so it is nice to shake things up. And it has me excited again about fitness so that's got to help!! And then I started counting points again! WooHoo!
Elisa - oh sorry if I rubbed off on you.:( Did not mean to. Yes, I did take your advice & step on the scales. Today I am back with it.
RR - A MONTH! oh my! I'm with whoever said that they sure hope you like your mother in law! ~ I totally agree with your comments about not having any leftovers! I was the dessert-maker for our dinner and I left everything there. ~ You will have so much fun doing the baby's room!:D
Happy - I hope that you are right and it comes off easy, doesn't seem to work that way though! ~ I love online shopping & have been doing some myself.:)
BFB - I've been seeing those scales on sale a lot too as I think Pryia said.
Pryia - Cool that you are self-reflecting!~ Yeah for being op!!~ And hooray that you won that giftcard!!
Lauren - hope you are feeling better. Bummer to be feeling bad on a holiday. There seems to be a lot of that going around.
What were those sport bras again that everyone is talking about??
