I'm posting this a day early because I'm working extra hours tomorrow so I won't be around.
So, how are we all doing??? :D It seems to me that this lovely weather is helping in some way - definitely for me its easier to eat less when its warmer somehow - and it certainly encourages me to get out in the fresh air and walk off a few more calories.
I'm not weighing myself (part of my Challenge) - but I can tell from the fit of my clothes that something's happening. I'm now back in to a pair of work trousers that stopped fitting me after my holiday in February. :carrot: I know I promised myself I wouldn't weigh my food either but I gave in to temptation and FitDay (http://www.fitday.com/)'d a sample day... 1382 calories and I exercised off 429 of them with my daily walk.

Not doing tooooo bad. Long hours in the office 6 days a week mean I'm not getting that much exercise at the mo, but we had friends round and for once I didn't use that as an excuse to go crazy with the wine and garlic bread. I am vaguely hopeful for tomorrow's weigh in.

Well I've had a rubbish couple of weeks while I was writing my dissertation but as of Monday I've been back on the wagon, started a new low fat, low carb, low salt diet and it seems to be working for me - down 5.3lbs this week and that's with no exercise! Woohoo!

I got on the scales this morning, I'm nine stone 12. I am hoping to be nine stone five by the end of this challenge. I havent been able to put the scales away Sarah.

Managed to lose another 2lbs this week. Not as much as I'd like but still a loss right? well don everyone :)

hi,well done to everyone. just under 2 lbs lost this week. cant stay away from the scales either im afraid. havent done particulary well with fresh food this week as im in the middle of a 4 night stretch, got my tom and am very grumpy but...

:( ive had to get rid of a load of clothes this week and im in the middle of a clothing crisis, with nearly 2 weeks to payday. mad

I lost half a pound which I know I could do better but well at least its still off and not on.
I've not had a good start to this week as my weeks run Thursday to Thursday. Also i'm off work this week and its my birthday on Tuesday so I think I'm really going to struggle to stick to this diet, would be happy with another half pound even. Even if I cant stick to healthy eating i'm going to try and get out walking more.
I also went food shopping on Saturday and going to change to the ww no points diet where u just have 3 meals a day and no snacking as it is prob the snacking that I do most of.
Well done the rest of u keep up the good work.

I've lost 2 pounds as of this morning! :carrot: I've been power walking again in the mornings though I've still got to dust off my weights. Mostly, I've just been loosely counting calories, watching portion sizes, eating mostly fresh steamed veg with meals (like 50 to sometimes 75%) and no mindlessly grazing as I tend to do.
Oh yeah, off to change my ticker!

2 lbs off this week, completely gobsmacked and will probably put it all back on, but so far so good for sensible eating and no crazy binges.

this was my first weigh in and normally the first week I have a big loss of 5-7lb but not this time,I was gutted to only see iv lost 2 lbs after all the hard work I put in last week,absolutely gutted but it wont stop me i will plod on and see what next week brings,im still pretty angry about it though,wheres my diet buddy abitonthechubbyside how did she do,hopefully better than me.

Not so great this week- lost 1 pound. Better than nothing I guess.
I have my AF at the moment and the booze found me again this weekend- I just have no will power when it comes to a cold beer on a sunny day! :nono: :D

I feel a bit thinner (in how clothes are fitting, etc) but the scales say I'm the same :\ I'm blaming water retention and girly reasons so I'm gonna weigh myself again on Friday before I go away for the weekend...

O I couldnt resist last night and I feel awful, I sat and ate 4 cadbury cream eggs and half of one of those huge massive galaxy bars that cost about £3.Of course last night it felt great but this morning eeeuuuucccchhh,im disgusted in my bad behavior.I feel sad about what I did,i let myself down.Its a pattern I need to get out of and a habit I need to break.todays another day...... :-(

Don't feel too bad - call it a day off, and not the end of another attempt. Just remember that you don't feel great afterwards, and maybe it'll put you off next time you feel tempted :p
Like I've said to you before I'm the same, my weakness is chocolate - I'm not great at staying off it, but I just tell myself I have to burn off anything I eat. Generally I can't be bothered doing an extra 25 mins on the exercise bike just to burn a bar of chocolate off, so I don't bother :p For once, my laziness comes in handy!

I'did,nt go to RC but weighed in at home and stayed the same.
Been in bed all day yesterday with the headache from ****, not sure were it came from, have'nt even touched any wine!

Carole... there's a bad cold doing the rounds which starts off as a really awful headache for a day or two before developing in to the cold. I'd give you a :hug: but if it is The Cold then you are in the contagious stage.... :)

I've had a bad week, I got ill and haven't done much exercise and my eating's been a bit off track. I had a really bad nights sleep last night and forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I think I'll do it tomorrow. I'm sure it won't be good!!
I've not had a good eating week this week...Indian, wine, buffet, muffins etc. Not good at all, but I was very chuffed to find that I've only put a pound on, which I think is probably pretty lucky! I'll have to look out next week to make sure the rest doesn't go back on too. Well done to everyone! :)
