Well, I am back from my 38 week appointment, and things are going greatly! My blood pressure is perfect, which is great. I am holding steady in the weight department. I still turned the dipstick purple, so they were wondering about another bladder infection. When they sent out my “sample” the last time, it came back that I was spilling nitrates in my “sample.”
The doctor came in and measured my belly. She was a resident from the hospital helping out, so she just measured my belly since her specialty was internal medicine. She measured it and told me that I am measuring in at 42cm. The doctor over seeing her came in and wanted to measure me again because she wasn’t sure if she had measured it right. Sure enough, she measured my belly and got the same answer. I then said “well, I have been measuring big, so her measurement of the first 42cm would be right.” Then the doctor over seeing the resident did my internal. I am still sitting at 2cm and my cervix is still up high. BUT, there is a light at the end of this tunnel!
She then looked at me and said “how do you feel about an induction?” I looked at her and said “when do we start?” they laughed and asked me when I would be 39 weeks. And since I am going to be 39 weeks on Monday, I am set up for my induction on Monday night at 7pm. I will go in and register, they will put the pill in to ripen the cervix and then pitocin and water breaking Tuesday morning! I feel bad because it is Brandon’s birthday and I don’t want to do it to him, but I am also done with being pregnant. I want to have Marissa here so I can hold her, and also to get my tubes tied and be onto the next chapter!
I called Tommy to tell him to let his boss know that he will only be working on Monday and Friday of next week. He kind of laughed and said “huh? What do you mean?” So, I explained to him what was going on and he was all excited. He then told me that he has a three day weekend, which I then said “yeah if I go into labor tonight.” and his response was “no, I have a three day weekend. I am off tomorrow and this weekend.” His work is switching the machines tomorrow, so that is why he has tomorrow off, and then Saturday he was suppose to work, but they gave him that day off as well. So, that will give us plenty of time to get all of Marissa stuff put in her cart and get our bedroom uncluttered.
We are still going ahead with Brandon’s birthday party on Sunday. We figure why put it off for another week just because I am getting induced on Monday. I feel bad for having to leave early on his birthday but I am sooooo ready to start the next chapter and be done with being pregnant.
Jen~ Thanks for the nice comments on the boys. That was when they were preoccupied with something else so they were being good boys! Good luck with the eating out less! That was my main thing when I was trying to loose weight after I had Logan.
Jules, Vann & Tammy~ I meant to mention this when every one else was, but can I get your addresses as well. I meant to ask when all the other ladies were asking, but I got distracted and forgot to mention it before.
Jane~ Thanks again for the gifts for the boys, and Marissa.
Jules, Vann, Tammy, Cristina, Jodi~ Thank you so much for my baby shower! It was a nice surprise and I love every thing! I got to open them before Tommy got home so he hasn’t seen any of them yet. I did leave him a message on his phone about our baby shower, and he (as well as myself) are absolutely blown away by all of your generosity and kindness.
Pink Jane~ The weather was surprisingly nice here today. I was able to go without my jacket when we went to my doctor’s appointment. I agree with you, I want to go to Toad Lick. I swear there are some strange town names out there.
Jodi~ Sounds like things are going well at your new job!
Cristina~ Are we ever ready for having kids?? In response to the question, I would have to say that it is a big heck yeah! I am so ready to be done with being pregnant, and I want to see her and finally see who she resembles more. (and so she can pester daddy and her brothers as much as she has been pestering me at 3am every day! LOL) That is awesome about the new camera! Our bank has the rewards program for every thing that you spend, I guess. I am not too sure how it actually works, but they have some great stuff in their rewards catalog!
Jules~ I am hoping for a quick delivery as well! If I have her in the morning or early afternoon, then they will do my tubal ligation an hour after I have her, IF I have an epidural. Not exactly sure if it is the same if I don’t have time to get an epidural. BUT I am hoping that with getting induced I can get one done. I am sure I am strong enough to go without one again, but I just liked that I was much more relaxed when I had Brandon because of the epidural.
Sassy~ How are you doing on this fine almost weekend?
04-19-2007, 06:31 PM
Mindee- I wish I had been there to see your face when that box arrived- lol. Did the boys like thier books? And once you can see your feet again- lol- I hope that you will find your gift relaxing. Maybe Tommy will give you a pedicure??? ok, so you can hope!
04-19-2007, 07:34 PM
Update on niece's appt today (her due date) she was given two choices for induction next Thursday and the following Monday (4/30). She picked the Monday date and hopes she won't last that long . The name has changed from Jackson to either Blair or Blake. Who knew Blake would be such a popular name?
04-19-2007, 07:49 PM
Jodi~ I wish there had been a camera on me when I saw it. I know I should of had a camera on Tommy when he saw the box, and the things that were in it. The boys loved their books! They have been carrying them around with them since daddy showed them to them. Tommy started laughing when I mentioned your comment about him giving me a pedicure. His response was "does she know me?" Thanks again!
Jules~ I will have to post a pic of Marissa in the outfit. That is really cute. Thanks again!
04-19-2007, 10:10 PM
Nothing fun going on here, just work. lol.
FIL is doing fine still and so is MIL. Sorry I don't have a lot going on right now. lol
Jules -- I hope everything is going great with you & DH
Mindee -- hope all goes well and you have a happy & healthy baby girl next week!
I hope you all are doing well and have a Great Weekend!
04-20-2007, 01:07 AM
Mindee - thanks for starting the new thread. The box I sent was supposed to arrive the same day as the others! It was too big to fit in with the one Jodi sent, so that's why I sent it directly to you. You can thank Jodi for planning the shower. Wasn't that sweet of her? Please post photos of all the presents when you get a chance, ok? I know you're going to be plenty busy between now and Monday, though, lol.
Pink Jane - on the last thread you mentioned taking pics of funny signs - well, my Katie took one of the Effingham sign when she was in high school. That's where we catch the train to Chicago, and she knew her friends would think it was funny. :dizzy: Teens!
Jodi - Cristina gave you very good advice about the job, so ditto what she said.
Cristina - I knew the red you mentioned wasn't red red. And I think it's going to be so cool! Well, I didn't get any soldier bears. The clerk at the Hallmark House didn't know what I was talking about, and I looked over every stuffed animal in the place, which wasn't many, and there wasn't anything like that or even remotely related to the armed services in any way. I'll check back in a few days after they get more shipments in, just to be sure. Btw, it was really nice of your bank to give you a gift like that.
Jules - YW, sweetie. That's what we're here for. And thank you for sharing.
Yowza, I'm wiped out! I didn't get enough sleep last night, and I'm going to turn in soon. But I had lots of fun with Madison today. She's a power shopper, lol. Then she helped me make turkey chili, and didn't go home until Mary came after her about 8PM.
Sleep tight, ladies.
04-20-2007, 01:37 AM
Sassy~ Thanks for the good luck!! I am hoping for a nice and quick delivery with her. And I am anxious to see what the scale says as far as how much she is weighing!
Jane~ No problem. I figured I would start one rather then over flowing the old thread. I sure will post pics of every thing! I can't wait for her to wear them all!
04-20-2007, 08:45 AM
Mindee--I have to say it was so fun to finally get to buy for a little girl, but it was so hard to decide because there is so much cute stuff!!
Jane--I felt I needed to make it clear that DH is not physically abusive so nobody would worry about that. Though the words and attitude can hurt really bad too. I am not that same insecure person I was that can't make a simple decision without his input and he sometimes has a hard time dealing with it. If it is just for the short term I can wait it out, I don't want to throw away 21 years together but I am not going to live in the controlled enviroment I did when we were first together so if that is here to stay I won't be.
Sassy--It's WW day and I missed last Friday due to a migrane so I am a little scared. I haven't been as good as I should have been. One of the coworkers left for Hawaii on Wednesday and we had a bon voyage party complete with leis and balloons and Hawaiian Punch and pina colada cheesecake and leftover cheescake the next two days!! Oh we bought her a grass skirt and a shell bikini top and sang to her and bought her a bag of goodies with a tropical theme!! She was so excited. She is going to retire this summer and we all are wondering how to top this day on that one.
well I gotta get a shower and get going!!
04-20-2007, 12:06 PM
Just peaking in real quick! :) Gotta change my short goal tracker today! :) I just barely got into the 170's!!! Yeah! ;) It's a good 25.5 pound loss so far. I think i've broken that plateau I think I had hit.
Mindee- I wanted to send something and it was too late when I had a chance! :( I'm sorry! I really wanted to.
Well, I don't have a lot of time. I just really wanted to make my presence known. Sometimes I feel like I could just disapear from here...lol...but I need to come here to keep myself motivated and 'honest'. haha! :) I kinda had hit a wall but I think I found a door! :P So let's keep things moving!
04-20-2007, 12:13 PM
Jules~ I know what you mean! It took us forever to decide on an outfit to bring her home in!
T~ It's okay. Great job on your weight loss!! Good luck with your next goal! You are doing a wonderful job!
04-20-2007, 12:58 PM
Good Morning Ladies:wave:
The weather man got it right, it did rain for about a minute and a half LOL, just long enough to rinse the car off but now the sun is shining and it's warming right up, suppose to be in the 70's today!! Hubby just called he is in Cincy, he picks up at midnite and then has to be in Atlanta at 6 am, so he is not in a good mood, I weighed myself and I am down another pound, so I am in a good mood LOL I guess we counter balance each other...I have to go out and about today need to hit the grocery store, had my last apple and orange yesterday, gonna make turkey taco salads tonite...well I need to get around lots to do today will check back in later, Have a Great Day All.
04-20-2007, 04:07 PM
Mindee- so what is he saying? the pedicure isn't likely to ever happen? lol
Thanks for the advice on the job. I guess it is just that this woman is so hard to read that is training me. She had been in that position for like 34 yrs, so of course she knows everything, acct numbers, part numbers, ect by heart. Anyhow, I can't tell how I am doing by the way she acts, I thought it was just towards me, but then today I realized she treats everyone kind of in a cold manner. The boss tries to joke around when he goes thru to his office and I sorta think she is almost rude, she barely acknowledges he said anything. I am trying so hard to pick it all up, but I almost feel invisible with her. She let me work 1/2 hr without her and I did really well and was having a good day, but then I felt like she gave me an attitude after I misread a check because people CAN'T write!!! I thought a 3 was an 8 and when I tried to explain that to her, she wouldn't listen to me. I mean it wasn't a big deal, I caught the mistake and changed the deposit and while she didn't say anything negative towards me, it was just her attitude that made me feel really bad about how I was doing. She was supposed to give me some feedback today, which she didn't. I told her that I couldn't continue to come in at 7:30 because the bus doesn't get here til 7:15, thier clocks are set 5 min fast and it is a 12 min drive. The boss says that even if a person is 30 sec late, you will get sent home. That the time you are supposed to be there is START work time. It was so hard this week. I had to drop the kids at school at a little after 7 even though they aren't supposed to be in the building before 7:45am. I have been expecting for them to get into trouble for it. She was upset with me cause of that. But the way I look at it, I took the job on the agreement that it was 8-12, and when I agreed on 7:30, it was supposed to be for the first week only.
Anyhow when we were leaving I said have a nice weekend and I got an uh-huh in response, no back at ya or NOTHING!
Ok sorry for the novel, but this has been bugging me all day. I really want this job to work out, but at the moment I am just not sure. It's the best paying job I have EVER had, but there are so many little details and they are just rattled off to me.... *sigh*
04-20-2007, 04:41 PM
I lost 3 1/2 pounds!!!!!
04-20-2007, 06:19 PM
Just a quickie!!
Cristina--thought I read something about roosters in your brick red kitchen...check out this kitchen run on QVC.com It's item number H05206
Think this would match??
04-20-2007, 08:24 PM
Wtg Jules- that is an excellent loss!!!!
04-20-2007, 11:33 PM
Just a quick hello here. I am so tired once again. I went back to Evansville today, by myself, then worked on computer stuff for hours after I got back. Also re-did the plans for my flowers. I'm going to put them all around the house instead of a seperate garden. Then, when I was going to post earlier, the internet was out. Now I'm just too tired and am headed to bed soon.
Have a good Saturday tomorrow.
04-20-2007, 11:40 PM
JULES...WTG on the loss! :woohoo: :bravo:
JODI...sorry for the lady at work. She's the one leaving though, right? Of course I can understand you being nervous now, lol. I don't know why some people have to act like they are perfect and never make mistakes. Hope it gets better soon.
TAMMY...I checked that out and it is the perfect color. But...I already have rugs. I found some a while back and they have the green and gold colors in it that some of the other rooms will be. Plus some black as well. Trying to find some towels that match but I will check out QVC some more when I have more time. Thanks for the heads up!
MINDEE...wow, wish I had had the option of inducing. Not sure I would have done it though. I didn't mind waiting. Jason was the only one that was late. Others were right on time.
Hi to everyone else
Not really in a talkative mood. Feeling icky and don't know why...think TOM is going to be paying me a visit in the next couple of days.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend ladies.
04-20-2007, 11:46 PM
Another tired one here tonight also....We had beautiful weather today so DH and I worked outside. I managed to dig up wildflowers and plant in a spot DH had rototilled. Now when he mows all the other wildflowers down I will at least have saved a few. Then we moved some big rocks that will be in the rock garden. I raked and picked up twigs and leaves. From that and the bending to dig and plant the flowers I am SORE as can be already.
I did laundry and had company stop by...first his sis and her family, then DD and DGD.
Now, on top of all that I baked a turkey breast, made mashed potatoes, stuffing, brocolli, baked beans and gravy.
THEN DH and I went to Menards and Meijer looking for shrubs.
So..whew...I am showered and off to bed.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
NO...my tracker isn't wrong, I have not walked for 3 days.....grrrrr.
04-20-2007, 11:49 PM
HI Cristina...we were typing at the same time I guess....Have a good week-end.
04-21-2007, 12:22 AM
Today I woke up feeling sick. After I got to work I felt better. ;)
FIL is sick, again. Has a high temperature, 102 & bad adominal cramps, he's still at home. He is going for a cat scan tomorrow.
Hope you all have a Great Weekend!
WTG JULES! :cheer2:
04-21-2007, 03:33 AM
I'm so tired.........totally exhausted.:tired: We have a couple more loads to move tomorrow and we should be finished completely w/moving. Then it's off to clean THIS house. No fun as my DD says. I have to agree on that.
Just wanted to pop in and tell ya that I'm still alive....but it feels like barely. I was suppose to have two weeks to move my stuff and ended up having to move by Saturday. That was only 6days. What's up w/that?????:yikes:
And to top it off....hubby is out of town until tomorrow night. Rounding up friend w/trucks was a challenge but I did it.
Ok......I'm off to crash.:faint:
04-21-2007, 11:11 AM

Tammy--I have friends that want to try one of "those" parties..Is there a website?? LMK
Hello to everyone esle...I will tell you I just have been out of it..traveling ...trying to get a promotion at work (hasn't worked YET) AND Not loosing weight..I am not eating horrible, so I am thinking that I am in BIG hormonal surge?? 04-22-2007, 01:33 AM
Jules~ WTG on your loss!!!!!
Cristina~ I would of loved to had waited, and I am sure that is what was going to happen, had I not been spilling the nitrates in my "samples." That and with the ongoing bladder infection, I think that topped the cake and made them think of inducing. I was going to suggest the inducing if I had turned the dipstick purple, which of course I did.
Sassy~ I hope your FIL feels better. Do they have any idea what he has now? Do they think it has anything to do with what he was in the hospital for just recently?
Vann~ Thanks again for your address. Nope, you didn't miss her arrival. I am going to post pics as soon as I can.
We have been so busy. Monday we went to his parents campground and did some things up there. Saturday we went shopping and did some cleaning around here. Sunday, we will finish the cleaning, get the house ready, have a party and then relax a little bit.
04-22-2007, 07:51 PM
Just a quick hi to all!!
04-22-2007, 08:08 PM
A quick hello from me, too. I was just checking in to make sure all is ok. This weekend has just flown by, and I've spent most of it outdoors. I'll try to check in sometime tomorrow.
04-22-2007, 10:54 PM
I'm with Jane, been working outside all weekend. I painted my front door frame and portico on Saturday and then did yard work all day today. My shoulders are killing me from all the overhead painting, then my thighs are sore from all the stooping and squating. Had a total body workout all weekend. Even walked the boys a few times each day. Needless to say, I'm pooped and sore and can't wait to get into the clean fresh sheets on my bed. Oh, did I mention I managed to attack Mt Washmore each time I walked into the house. No time for individuals but thinking of everyone. Will check back in tomorrow. Just ate a big bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries and gonna settle in to watch Brothers & Sisters.
Mindee...good luck sweetie with your induction tomorrow night if I don't hear from you!!
04-22-2007, 10:55 PM
just checkin it to say hi
04-23-2007, 01:11 AM
This was a really good weekend. My DD got a job to host her own show! :) It's small time but it's a START. ;) It'll be called The Alex and Britni Show and it will aire in the bay area (calif) and also on U Tube. So when anything come out on U Tube...I'll let you guys know! AND she's moving right along in the Smashbox contest. So as often as you guys can vote...that'd be GREAT!
If you go here you can see a picture of her and her cohost and a link to vote on the same page. And more links on her. In case you're interested...haha!
And I've been losing consistently again. I'm down a TOTAL now of 27.25 pounds. Yeah! I'm happy about THAT!
04-23-2007, 01:19 AM
Thanks for the good luck Tammy!
Tina~ Congrats on the total weight loss!!! I will check out the link and be sure to vote again.
04-23-2007, 01:43 AM
Hope you all have a Wonderful Monday. ;)
They found out what was wrong w/ my fil: pancreatitis, which he's had several times before, so now they at least know what it is and have him on some meds.
04-23-2007, 07:07 AM
Tina--I'll go vote again!! My DS watches all kinds of stuff on youtube. You will definitely have to give us a link. WTG on the weightloss!!
Mindee--todays the big day!! I know you are excited because I am!!!
Sassy--glad they found out what's wrong with your FIL so they can start a treatment!!
Hi to everyone else!! I gotta go and get my coffee!!!
04-23-2007, 10:23 AM
Good morning, ladies!
I'm not sure I can catch up, but I'll give it a try. :)
Jules - way to go with the huge loss. That should make you feel so much better, to know it's actually working. :cp:
Jodi - I sure hope you have less stress at work today. If the old lady will get off your back, I think you'd do a lot better w/o her breathing down your neck all the time. And yes, since you were told the day would start at 8, I think it's unfair of them to expect you there at 7:30!
Tina - how cool for your DD. :carrot:
Sassy - what a relief to know what's wrong with your FIL. Now maybe he'll make a full recovery. What new in your own life?
Sue - even if you didn't get walking in, look at all the exercise you got in the yard. That counts, too.
Marti - are you all moved now? I can't wait to see more pictures.
Mindee - well, today's the day. By the time you read this, it'll all be over. You and Marissa are in my prayers, hon.
Cristina - I hope you're feeling cheerier today. And that TOM passed you by, lol.
Pink Jane - we had temps in the 80s yesterday, too, and I tell ya, I was in my glory! Come on, summer, right?
Tammy - yikes, my thighs are killing me, too, from all the yardwork. Reminded me of all those squats we had to do in high school gym class, lol. I guess you saw that Brothers and Sisters was a rerun. I watched it anyway, lol, because it's just so good! The little gal who plays Rebecca was in a show called Everwood, and I actually, so was Treat Williams, who has had a bit part in Bros. and Sis. I was sorry to see Everwood go off the air, but this show is just as good.
Vann - yes, you did read where someone was very sick. Gina's dad was at death's door, and how he pulled through is anybody's guess. He has terminal cancer, and we're hoping he hangs in until at least May 2 when little Jackson is supposed to come via c-section. Thank you for asking about him. How does Griffin handle you being gone? I can tell it's stressing you, and I'm sorry about that. Sounds like you'll be busy through Wednesday, so I hope to see you posting on Thursday.
Hello to anyone else reading this.
I'm doing great OP, and think my once a week treats are helping. Each Sunday, I have about 300 extra calories for something that I wouldn't normally spend calories on. This makes me happy without going overboard.
Today I'm going to tackle Mt. Washmore, and do some scrapbooking in between loads. It's supposed to rain, so I can't play outside.
Have a good day, ladies!
04-23-2007, 10:49 AM
Jules - I forgot to ask - how's your niece feeling? Think she'll hold on until the 30th?
04-23-2007, 02:31 PM
SASSY...I am glad they finally know what is wrong with FIL. I had pancreatitis when I had a bad gallstone attack and know it's no fun. So hoping FIL gets better soon.
MARTI...hope you got to rest some from all the moving and cleaning. Geez...if V wouldn't have gotten off work to help move I wouldn't have moved, lol. Can't wait to see pictures of your new home. How are you liking it so far?
VANN...geez, lousie woman...you have been crazy busy! Hope now you are able to get back on track with everything and get some "you" time. Lots of hugs to you and Griffin
MINDEE...thinking of you today.
TAMMY...you definitely got a good work out.
PINKJANE...WTG on your workout! :carrot:
TINA...tried to go to the site but it was taking forever to come up. May try again later. You are doing awesome with your weightloss.
JANE...sounds like you had a busy weekend working out in the yard too!
HI everyone else
Doing laundry today and moving things away from the wall, and taking things off the wall so V can paint when he gets home.
Back on track with exercising and such. Today is WI and I am happy with the results, no gain, no loss so it's all good.
Have a good day!
04-23-2007, 05:34 PM
Happy Afternoon Ladies!!
Jodi--How's the job going? Please tell me that that wicked women who is training you will not be there long?
Tina--Got my vote again!! Congrats on the great weight loss! :cb:
Mindee--Thinking about you!!!
Sassy--Hope your FIL is doing better. You've had your hands full lately!
Jules--Congrats on your weight loss!! :carrot:
Jane--Yes, Brothers & Sisters was a rerun. :( I watched the last hour of the sappy "Hallmark" movie. Wish I had seen the first hour but dh was watching Sopranos. How are the thighs today?
Marti--Are you buried under boxes?? Hope you come up for air soon! :flow1:
Pink Jane--We finally got your weather. The past 4 days have been beautiful in the upper 70's low 80's. It's supposed to stay for the rest of the week.
Vann--The website for the "party" is slumberparties.com :censored:
Cristina--What else are you painting? I know that you are doing red in the kitchen. Ever since I got a painter from the hospital that I work paint my kitchen in less than 3 hrs., dh is convinced that he will never paint again. It usually is a two day event when we paint a room. But he did help me with the porch painting this weekend.
Sue--We went shrub shoping this weekend too. We bought 9 Arborvitaes to put along our property line in the back of the house. We have woods behind us and it always looks weedy with tons of branches and such and need something to block it. Of course, we haven't planted them yet. It was a chore just dragging them all to the back yard.
After my weekend of yard work and painting, I treated myself to a manicure, pedicure, lip waxing and dye job! I almost feel like a new woman. My sis is coming to visit from WVA tonight and staying the week. I only have a few days off with her but she will visit with the rest of the family on the days that I work. Well dh will be home in a bit and I need to run the vacum and get my sis's bed ready for her arrival. Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

thanks ladies!!! I figured I would jump on here real quickly and see how every one is doing! We are T minus less then two hours before we have to be at the hospital. My bag is ready, I'm ready, the boys had their bath and have clothes on, so when Tommy gets home....all we need is to have some dinner, and him jump in the shower, then we can go up to the hospital!

Hi ladies...LTNS
I am back at work halftime, 8-12, doing computer work but not on the phones, so I can rest my arm when I need to. See my doctor again on Friday to see what's next. Been spending my time planning a trip to WDW in May -- we only have 5 1/2 days, but it should be fun.
Sassy, very sorry to hear your FIL has been so sick, but glad they finally figured out what it is so the docs can treat him. Hope he starts feeling better soon.
Mindee -- induced today??? How exciting! Holding good thoughts that it will go easy and fast for you and the baby
Hello to everyone, and I've missed ya all. There is too much I've missed to go back and read it all, so I'll just have to start here. :D

Hi again, ladies!
Hiya MARYKATE! So good to see you posting. What a great Mothers Day gift...WDW in May! You guys are going to have so much fun! So how is your arm? Is it better? Glad you are able to rest it during the day.
TAMMY...we are painting the livingroom and entry way a shade of green. Then next is the hallway gold. It's not actually gold but a shade of gold/yellow. Then....lol. We will paint the whole house eventually. Probably within the month, month in a half maybe. DH does it on his days off and these ceilings are high, or the living room, kitchen and dining area are. Sounds like you had a nice day of pampering.
PINKJANE...I love Atlanta...it is so pretty down there. At least your hubby gets to see the world, or the US anyway.
MINDEE...thinking of you and Marissa. Is she here yet? Can't wait!
SASSY...hope you had a good day.
JODI...how did the job go today? Hope the lady wasn't hanging over your shoulder.
JANE...no TOM for me...don't think it's going to happen. Which is fine with me. Just feeling icky, more blah. Maybe it's the weather, who knows. Or the toothache. If it doesn't stop in the next day or two I am going to have to go to the dentist for sure.
HIYA JULES! and everyone else
Nothing on tv so thought I would spend some time here while V is still painting. Don't think he will get to the entry tonight. Which is fine...there's only so much a person can do. We'll get it finished.
Nighty, night ladies!

Cristina - your house will be so pretty when you're all finished. Do you have everything put away, and stuff on the walls?
Mindee - I'm thinking of you and your new little addition today. Give her a kiss from Aunt Jane.
Tammy - how's the visit with the drama queen going? Sisters are great but they can be a pain in the patooty, too, right? I'm the youngest of 7 sisters, no brothers, and my big sisters still try to boss me around, lol. Not that they get the job done anymore, lol.
Sassy - YW
PinkJane - you're doing great with the exercise - such an inspiration! I wish I could walk on my treadmill, but I don't think I'll ever get to do that again.
Mary Kate - good to see you here! I'm envious of your WDW trip. Just last night I tried to talk Neal into taking off for Fla. this Thursday, but he said no. So tell Mickey I said hi when you get there, ok? I'm dying to go somewhere, even though I just got back from Chicago. That was such a short trip, it barely counts. How're things going at work?
Hi to anyone else reading this.
Well this is the 2nd time I'm typing all this - I lost the first one! That's what I get for not saving it as I went along, right?
Today is a beautiful day, and I'm still OP, and feeling so good about that! I'm on a mission to find a table for the puzzle room. Well, we already have one in there, but Neal's always got a puzzle in some state of completion on it, lol. I want one to do my crafts on.
Have a great day!

Tammy- I am unsure how long that lady is going to be around. I admit there are some things i do need her for, just can do without the attitude. Though yesterday and today she was being nice. In fact today she LAUGHED!
That lady took herself out of the computer and put me in yesterday, so maybe I passed her test?
I think I am going to like it there. I did notice though that with all the other people being guys- they leave the toilet seat up! I am going to have to retrain them I guess, though they are prob all in their 50's so it may be too late. lol
It is so beautiful here today. The windows are open and the cat is sitting sunning herself on the window sill. I can hear the birds singing, it's so nice and calm. :-)
Sassy- sorry to hear that FIL is so sick. Hopefully now that they know what it is they can treat it and he will get well.
Well, I guess we are on baby watch- lol Can't wait to hear that Marissa is here!
Have a good day ladies

Okay, so lets try this again, lol.
Ernie is scared of storms and is under my feet under the desk. He moved and sat on the switch and turned the computer off just as I started posting, lol. Silly dog, anyway...
...Hello ladies
JANE...a puzzle room sounds cool! I have a craft table and have to sa, I love it! Right now it's covered but I love having my own little space in the corner of the office. I have most things out and on the walls except for in Josh's room and the family room. Can't really do much in the family room until V finishes DD's room. But I am going to get some order to the chaos in the next couple of days. DD has her own corner on the other side of the room and there's still room to fix up the furniture and such. We'll paint that room last too. I love the big family room...didn't realize it was this big. It's three rooms in one right now, lol. What kind of puzzle is Neal working on now? I haven't done a puzzle in ages...it would be fun to do one.
JODI...maybe the lady is happy because her time there is near the end. Wait, is she training you because she's leaving? Can't remember, sorry. At least she was in a better mood and actually laughed, lol.
Wish I could say the weather is here is nice. We have had some awful weather since yesterday. KS that is, I think out west. We were supposed to get some but nothing yet (knock on wood). Just some rain and a little thunder. Supposed to be coming though...hail, twisters. That was actually on the front page of the paper this morning.
V got most of the living room painted. The way it is we are taking the green down into the entry so he has that left to do and part of the wall above the stairs. Another wall that is in the living room, actually two walls that connect to the hallway will be gold. Hope it all flows together well. The wall in the dining room is red and green. I know it probably sounds like a colored nightmare but it's nice, or we like it anyway, lol. Will show pictures of it when it is all done. Anway, so today I put the living room back together and cleaned the rest of the house. Except for Jason's room and Josh's. I don't do Jason's room or Josh's when he's home. Won't put things on his wall until we paint it. Anyway, don't want to bore you ladies with all this paint talk. I try not to talk so much about it but that is what's going on in my life right now.
My eating is going good. Haven't done any exercise as of yet, was busy cleaning. That should count for exercise, right? Lol I actually did work up a sweat. I'll do a mile on the treadmill later and ride my exercise bike. Drinking my water and taking my vitamin as well. So hoping to see a good loss next WI.
How is everyone else doing? Hoping all is well with you in your little corner of the world. Chat with ya soon.

Good Evening Ladies:wave:
Been raining here since before the sun came up and now we're having a thunderstorm, suppose to rain for the next 2 days and we're under a flood watch, fun, fun, fun LOL at least it's not snow!!...just did my 60 mins on the treadmill and now I am gonna make a big salad and rip up a chicken breast to put in it...oh lots of lightening so I better get off here.. Have a Good Evening All.

Thanks all for your kind words and support. We went to the inlaws today, DH needed to do a few things for his father. His dad is still on a bland diet, I believe he goes to the dr on Friday.
