I need to get better at posting in the daily thread, i'm such a board slacker.
Anyway, I have a quick question if someone could be kind enough to answer. Should we still be eating a snack even if we aren't hungry?

in phase 1 I think it's important to eat your snacks... as you progress in the weight loss lifestyle you will find that some days you are hungrier than others... and therefore you will eat more some days and less others....
in phase 1 we are still working on learning and improving and keeping our blood sugar even is critical to avoid the 'starving' mode we can lapse into when our blood sugar drops.

I agree.
In Phase 1, I was faithful with my snacks. Now in Phase 2, I only eat an afternoon snack around 3:30 p.m. I am experimenting to see what fruits I can handle, so I have cut out my morning nuts. So far so good. I am not hungry at all!

the ONLY fruit I can eat without mixing it with dairy or fat or protein is a banana. apples need fat (smart balance) strawberries need dairy (yogurt) and that's all i've discoverd so far... if i eat strawberries without yogurt or cheese (ricotta) I'm famished in an hour.
phase 2 is such a learning experience.:dizzy:
