Hello ladies...

Wanted to pop in and let you all know that we're moving! :carrot: Got our key today...did some cleaning already and will spend the weekend moving.

So I'll be busy all weekend with that and as soon as I get computer hooked up there....I'll be back on. And I'll let you all know the new address and all that jazz when I'm settled in.

Wish me luck that I don't go crazy! :D

hello everyone!

We had to go and get some things recertified for the kids and myself. So, they had to get weighed and every thing. Brandon is 35 ½ inches tall and weighs 31 ¾ lbs. Logan is 31 inches tall and weighs 24lbs. 6oz. Logan had to get his heel pricked for the lead test and Brandon had to get his booster for Hepatitis A. Logan will get his booster when we have to go back in after Marissa is born.

Jane~ If she is getting as annoyed with the contractions like I am, then I hope the baby comes early for her. We had pizza for dinner tonight so I hope that helps bring on things. Tommy went after work on Friday and bought a travel system, so now little Marissa is okay to arrive since we have a car seat now. Tommy has this weekend off, but he will have to work next weekend, he hopes just next Saturday since Brandon’s birthday party is the next day. So, he is hoping that she comes this weekend so he can have a longer weekend. He is cleared for three days off when she arrives, but he thinks he will only take two days since it is unpaid and a 40 hour check is better then a 30 hour check, especially after they take taxes, insurance, and his 401k out.

Amy~ that sounds great girl! Keep up the motivation!!

Jodi~ Congratulations on getting the job!!!!!! I am hoping for smooth sailing. I am about ready to go and try out the “trick” to see if it will motivate her to arrive. I am so ready to be done with being pregnant. My sister asked me a couple weeks ago if I was ready to be done with being pregnant and I said yeah. She says “well, heck you have been pregnant for the past four years basically.” Which after she mentioned it, well, it is true. Brandon was conceived in July of 2003 and born in April of 2004. Logan was conceived in January of 2005 and born in October of 2005. And here little Marissa was conceived in July of 2006 and will be born (hopefully) in April (soon!!!) of 2007. So, I am beyond done with being pregnant.

Pink Jane~ I am glad to hear that the snow is gone. The phrase “no pain, no gain” comes to mind when I read about your muscles screamin’ at you, but you had no gain on the scale. Great job! That sounds like me……here I am sure I sound like I am already over due and I am so ready for it to be over. But I will be 38 weeks on Monday, which the doctor came out and told me that if she comes now, they won’t stop her. So, maybe that has a little bit to do with the motivation.

Sue~ sounds like you had a great day in talking with your kids. Great job on the walking! I need to get walking maybe that will bring her down some. My MIL told me that she talked to my SIL, and when my SIL was pregnant with her daughter, they let her dilate to 3cm and then shipped her to the hospital because her feet were swelling. Here I am sitting at 2cm and my feet have been swelling. She said that they told her that her daughter was high up as well, but as soon as (I think) they broke her water, she was down in no time.

Cristina~ I am hoping that she decides to arrive soon……like any time now. I am getting tired of having to pull on my pant legs just to lift my leg to put my socks on.

Marti~ Congratulations on the house!!!!!!!

Just a quickie here!!

I'm having a "Ladie's Only" party tonight. Ya'll know what I'm talking about ;)!! My poor dh will be banned to the basement or bedroom with the dogs. Except for the fruit salad that I will be serving tonight, nothing else is really low cal. But I'm probably the only one that is trying to watch what I eat. I had my sidelight windows replaced yesterday with decorative glass and have to repaint the inside door frame before the party tonight. No time for many individuals but wanted to congrat Jodi on her new job. Welcome to Patricia!! Marti--I'm so excited for you for moving into your new home!! Ok, I gotta get painting and then make Paula Deen's brownie banana split pizza!! I know....totally not on any program :s: Wish you all were coming to my party tonight!! Have a wonderful weekend ladies!!

Mindee...have Tommy put your socks on for you!!!

04-14-2007, 12:04 PM
OMG>>>How decadent does brownie banana split pizza sound? I just love Paula does that lady use butter. I even saw someone showing her how to deep fry butter....say what???

Another dreary day here and high of 37 degrees. Just hope we don't get the snow they are predicting. I have a baby shower to go to later...right across the street. so if it snows I think I can make it. :)

Marti- Wow...that was fast and I hope the moving goes as fast and smoothly for you. I am sure you will love your own house...and find plenty to do to stay busy.

Tammy- Enjoy the party...sounds like fun. I bet your sidelights are beautiful. We didn't have room for sidelights on our front door, so I settled for an oval beveled glass in the door. Love it when the sun shines in and creates prisms on the walls. (How easy am I to entertain?)

Mindee- I do love talking to my young'uns. Just wish they were all near-by, but, oh well, they have to live their lives...I lived mine. DS called again last evening to talk to DH about a used car he is thinking of buying. So, no matter how far away they still want Dad or Mom's in-put. :) Put your feet up girlie....yeah, right with two little rug-rats running around. Well, TRY anyway.

Cristina- Do hope you get feeling better. I just talked to a friend who is getting over a sinus, allergy thing and she sounded so bad. I told her I am glad I didn't hear how bad she sounded BEFORE she started getting over it.

Jodi- Way to go on the new job. Is it full time or part time? Remind me what you did before...what job you are quitting? Did you do merchandising? Anyway, I am sure you can learn the new job and be a whiz!

Pink Jane- I bet you were in a panic wondering if you were going to get the paycheck deposited. Wouldn't be fun to have to wait for a new card to be able to access the money. Whew! You are doing so well on your treadmill.....keep it up.

Amy- Way to go also.....keep up the good work. I am getting frustrated with myself as I know what I need to do and I just get lax. I still think if this weather would ever "sun" up I would exercise more....(just what I need, another excuse!)

Jane- Tell me more about the srapbooking group...sounds like fun. I am still planning to take up scrapbooking and card making THIS YEAR. After landscaping and house decorating...which is going slowly. You will have a new "grand" before you know it.....give Jackson lots of kisses from the JL's.

My DH has been sawing and hammering in the workshop for over a week. He is at his happiest. SO far he made a beautiful wall rack with hooks for jackets and keys...for beside the back door. He is about 1/2 finished with his cabinets to organize his shop. I tell you he is going to have a showplace out there. He has a mini fridge and a t.v. plus a bookshelf for woodworking books and a break table area with 2 stools. He often will sit there to plan out his projects, so he has all of his drafting things, pencils, etc. right there too. That man is so organized. I joked and asked him where he was putting his bed....:)

HAve a wonderful Sat. ladies and to all I missed today I am thinking of you all.

04-14-2007, 04:13 PM
Hiya Ladies

SUE...sounds like DH will have a beautiful place to get away to, lol. V gets the third garage for his self and he can't wait to start getting it organized. It will be awhile though...we have to slowly get the stuff out of storage first. You are still doing great with the biking and walking...keep it up! :carrot:

SASSY...funny about FIL and flirting with the nurses, lol. Just glad to hear he is doing better. And I hope your MIL gets better. Lots of hugs    I've not tried the alavert but I am willing to try anything at this point because what I am taking is not working!

PINKJANE...well, I am glad you got things squared away at the bank and with the card. Lucky, too that the card didn't fall into the wrong hands.

MINDEE...the boys are definitely getting bigger. You need to post some recent pictures of the cuties! amazes me that so many people now days are wanting a very fast closing. A 2 week closing seems to be very common these days. The people that bought our house orignally wanted a 2 week but pussyfooted around with the paperwork too long had to move it to a 3 week closing. And it came fast! Hope you guys were ready for the fast move and I know you guys are excited! We want details missy, and pictures. Anyway, hope you guys have a fun and quick move! I am very happy for you, James & Jhanai :congrats: again!

TAMMY...I was going to say "Have fun" but I know that is a given at those parties, lol!

Hi JANE, MICHELLE, TINA, MARYKATE, JUDY, 4AMY, VANN, JODI & anyone I missed! (Can't keep track of everyone)

Not much going on with me today. Went and picked up a couple of things at Michaels this morning before meeting V for lunch. Now I get to spend the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry, aren't I special, lol.

Still not feeling up to exercising and my eating has been horrible! But feeling a little better. Hoping to get back on track with the exercise by Monday.

Take care ladies and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

04-14-2007, 08:19 PM
Hi ladies,

I had so much fun at the scrapbooking party last night! One of the gals used to be a dealer for one of the scrapbooking companies, and has every kind of supplies you could think of! We all took a sack supper, then got down to business, and the fellowship was awesome!

Today was Gina's baby shower, and I have to say little Jackson is going to be a decked-out little fella! He even got the cutest St. Louis Cardinal's itty bitty outfit, and a teeny tiny Cardinal's ball cap to go with it. So cute! (Terry is a big Cardinal's fan, and has a brick with his -and Neal's- name on it in the sidewalk of the new stadium.)

Mary's girls didn't get to go to the shower since they have colds, and I felt bad about that, so I went to wally world and bought the coolest paper doll set for them to cut out and play with. They'll be here in a little while, and we'll have fun! The set came with 4 paper dolls - one for each of them and one for Grandma, lol!

Gotta run! Have a good weekend!

04-14-2007, 08:54 PM
Hey all.

Its a Rainy & Cold dreary day here. Makes you just want to stay in bed. I know i wanted too. lol. But alas work won't do itself!

Thanks all for your kind words, no new news yet. FIL didn't sleep well lastnight so he requested no visitors today.

:congrat: Marti!

 to everybody, I hope your having a great weekend! :D

Didn't get but .5 of a mile in today. It was raining all day and I barely got the dog out to do her thing. Finally let up and I got all ready to walk, got around the corner and it started SLEETING and was pelting me HARD. I just came in and said to h*** with it for the day. So, I was just lazy as can be.....this was after the baby shower.
Tomorrow is another day and hopefully it won't rain or sleet......or (again hopefully) if it does I can get up enough energy to do WATP.

Tata for now chickies.....

04-15-2007, 03:52 AM
Hello are you all doing?

well, we should be getting some where soon. we went and did some walking around to see if that would help things out, it did to some extent, cause I was having some contractions. then we threw caution to the wind and tried "the trick" and it seems to be working some what. I have been having some more contractions. so we shall see is Marissa takes the hint or not.

Tommy actually had a meeting for his lodge on Saturday, so me and the boys were here at home. we all ended up laying down and taking naps after I got them out of the bath tub. Logan fell asleep in his bed, and me and Brandon fell asleep on the couch. my feet haven't been as swollen today that I have noticed, but I did also take a nap with them resting on the foot stool.

Cristina~ I will have to find some recent pictures of them to post for your enjoyment. I will get those on as soon as I can. here are some pics of them from a couple weeks ago.

04-15-2007, 07:05 PM
Hi ladies,

Marti - I bet you're busier than a one-armed paperhanger right about now, lol. How exciting to be moving into a new place.

Mindee - the kids are so cute! Did "The trick" work? Not that I expect you to let us know from the labor room, lol. Mary and Dale used the same trick to get Caylin, but it was a few days past her due date.

Tammy - yep, your Ladies Only party sounds like lots of fun. :D Like you said, I wish all the JLs could've been there, too.

Sue - scrapbooking is a lot of fun! Start now by making doubles of photos that are the cutest when you get them developed. Then toss them in a folder for when you get time to go to a crop. (scrapbooking meet)

Cristina - are you getting things all put away now? What kind of comforter did you end up getting for your bedroom after the cleaners ruined yours?

Sassy - I hope you got to visit with your fil today.

PinkJane - yowza, I wish it was t-shirt weather here. It's been cold, windy, and rainy, but warmer weather is on it's way. :carrot: I chunk up chicken breasts in a salad too, and add mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, walnuts, cukes, and lot of chunked tomatoes. Makes a great meal. :hun:

Julie, Julie Julie - where are ya? Yes I know the words are supposed to be Do ya love me, but then people would wonder what we're up too, lol.

Mary Kate - don't make me come out there! :frypan:

Vann - what'cha up to?

Hello to everyone else.

My BIL got released from the hospital today, and has to be checked again in 6 weeks to see if his heartbeat has been regulated.

Neal and I are headed to to Wally World, then to karaoke. My sister wants me to sing Do That to me One More Time but I don't think have the nerve yet.

04-15-2007, 08:55 PM
I've been feeling outta the loop a bit lately. Sorry I haven't been posting much. I got back and then it was my 21 year anniversary...(I don't feel old enough to be married that long...) And we took the convertable to a casino and had a nice steak dinner (well I had salmon) and we won 600 bucks over the amount we brought with. So I was so very happy. :):carrot:
I'm on day 5 of my hormone therapy. I feel good. ;) And my scale HAS gone down about 2.5 pounds. So far so good. I also go a bouncer (small trampoline thingy) to exercise on. The nutritionist thought it'd be good for my circulation with my foot. ;) I go back in June. So I hope to have made a good loss in between now and my next visit.

Mindee - you have adorable boys! :) wow! Thanks for posting the pics.

Sue - It rained here too yesterday. And today it's soooo windy. :) brrrr! I still need to get on that new bouncer I got. ;)

PinkJane - you sound so motivated. Exercising and eating right...that's great. Keep it up! ;) I know about the taxi driver stuff. I have 3 teens at home and only one with a license...psh.

Jane you sound like such a great grandma. ;)

Marti - congrats on getting the key! ;) Yeah! Very exciting. ;)

Everyone else...i'll try to be better with the posting.

Good Evening Ladies:wave:

What a beautiful day today, got up to 65 with a clear blue sky, I was tempted to go for a drive today but with gas at 2.75 a gallon I thought better of it LOL...didn't do much but laundry today...Hubby put in for home time the last weekend of the month, he is due for his physical on the first, has to have 1 every year for his license...did Hip Hop Abs today then my 60 mins on the treadmill...thinking about starting with some weights...have a turkey cutlet for dinner tonite...well just wanted to check in Have a Good Evening Everyone:)

Sue - Hope the weather gets better for you soon

Mindee - Your boys are too cute!!

Jane - Sounds like a fun evening, I wouldn't have the nerve either LOL

Tina - Congrats on your 21st LOL I don't feel old enough to be having our 27th this year either, Congrats on the 2.5 down you'll love the mini tramp I have an Urban Rebounder that I bounce on before I walk to warm up

Good Nite All:broc:

Another fly-by here. I walked 2 miles a little more with taking the dog on top of the 2. For some reason she wanted to walk extra today. (wonder if she understands when I tell her Mom will be back tomorrow?) :) It was 47 this morning, but up to 54 and sunny later. Still windy however. Didn't snack tonight...which had been a bad habit the last few nights....ugh! I don't even want to weigh in tomorrow.
Have a good week everyone.

I walked 10.5 but it put it in as 110.5 if I tried to go over the 10. Ha...110.5, I wish.

04-16-2007, 01:34 AM
thanks ladies for the nice comments on the boys. that was when they were being "angels" which usually only happens when they are asleep, like now! LOL

Jane~ We used "the trick" and it seems to have sparked some contractions. I have been having some off and on all day on Sunday. So, we shall see how things go from there. It seemed like they would come close together and when I would count them to see if we hit the magic number in order to go to the hospital, they would slack off and go away. I will keep your BIL in my prayers.

Tina~ Sounds like you and your DH had a great anniversary! Who knows what me and Tommy will do for ours when it comes will probably be a family outing again. But hopefully, things will work out and we can get one of their godmothers to watch them so we can at least go out to dinner just the two of us. (I can't tell you the last time we did that....oh wait! it was last year for Tommy's birthday when my parents watched the boys long enough for us to go to dinner. then we went back to their place for cake and ice cream) Great job on the weight loss!

Pink Jane~ Thanks for the nice comments! Sounds like you had a heat wave compared to what it was here. If it weren't so windy here, today would have been a nice day. We met up with some of the boys' god parents and got something to eat, then Tommy wanted some ice cream, and then came back here to hang out.

Sue~ Great job on your walking! I can't wait for the weather to get nice around here so we can take the kids for walks. During the summer, every wednesday night I think in June and/or July, they do a "concert in the park" night at the park within walking distance from us. So, we will probably take the kids over there once a week, if not more just to tire them out!

04-16-2007, 11:35 AM
I am actually pouting this weight loss. I expected as much with the way I have been eating.
Going to the airport here shortly.....Baby will be so glad to see Mom. :) So will I.
Gotta go put in the tracker for this week....I am going to bump it up to 12 miles since the weather is going to be warmer. Wish me luck.

04-16-2007, 02:51 PM
Happy Monday, Ladies!

JANE...I ended up going in the total opposite from what I normally get for the bed. I thought I would go with a more modern feel. That and something a little more masculine for V. Now to get some new "modern" furniture. I mean up-to-date more than modern. I bought a brown micro-suede comforter & shams, linen bedskirt, green/linen striped throw pillows and green tab-top curtains with a band of brown at the top and a band of linen around the edges (trim) and I must say...I LOVE it! Found a shower curtain at Bed, Bath & Beyond that has all the colors in it as well. the room will be painted a shade of green and the bath a lighter shade of the same color since there are no windows in it. Vince actually said yesterday "I hate to say this, but I look forward and can't wait till we paint" So did you sing the song?

MINDEE...can't believe how big the boys have gotten, and oh so cute! Thanks for the pictures! :thanks:

PINKJANE...I do the same once in a while. I love chicken salad. It was finally warm here yesterday but I am always so cold I still wore a sweatshirt most of the day. Like today as well. Supposed to be 71 and I know it will warm up, if it hasn't already. But it was a little cool out this morning. Hopefully, it stays warm for us! are doing great with your walking...babysteps. Don't get frustrated with not showing a loss this week. It will happen.

SASSY...I hope FIL didn't have a relapse, he was doing so well the other day...flirting with all the nurses and all. Hope MIL is doing better.

TINA...congrat's on the 21st anniversary! Sounds like you guys had a nice time.

MARTI...hope you're not tiring yourself out too much. Can't wait to hear about your new home!

Hi to everyone else

Had to run to the post office this morning and mail some packages to the sand box, lol. Bought Josh an iPod for his BD but they had to go out on that mission and he said to hold off on sending it. So mailed that this morning along with 20 soldier "Salute" beanie bears. I bought out two Hallmarks, lol. Anyway, even though it is supposed to rain tomorrow, again. I did go ahead and get my car washed. Don't plan on going anywhere tomorrow anyway so...

As far as WI goes...I am up 2 pounds, ugh! But it's okay and I expected it the way we have eaten this past week. Started the night before V's bd and just got worse, sort of. The food was good, lol but not wise choices at all. So, back on the ole horse again with WW and my walking. Allergies are all but gone so feeling good and up to walking again.

Have a GREAT day ladies!

04-16-2007, 03:00 PM
Hi ladies,

Tina - thank you for the kind words. I do absolutely love being a grandma. Some women I know don't want to be "bothered" with their grandkids, and I just can't understand that. A belated Happy Anniversary to you and your sweetie!

Pink Jane - how do you cook the turkey cutlets? I've broiled them before, but thought they were a little tough. I'd love to have a new recipe for them.

Sue - hope your mom made it home safely to Baby. I am already stressing on what to do about Molly when we go to FL next year, since the whole fam is going.

Mindee - the 30th will be here before you know it, so even if you go to full term, it won't be that long now. I know you're getting miserable, though.

Today Neal and I are taking Mary's 3 to see Meet the Robinson's. It's a 3-D movie, and I have to admit I'm crazy for 3-D stuff, lol.

I'm OP and feeling great about that. I've planned ahead for a small treat at the movies but having a light lunch and a light supper.

Have a great day!

04-16-2007, 03:05 PM
Cristina - we were posting at the same time. The colors for the bedroom sound great, and I'm glad Vince is looking forward to it. No, I didn't sing the song. I might have since the place is usually fairly empty, but last night the place was jumpin'. Not only that, but I have a cold, or allergies, and I need all the advantages I can get, lol.

04-16-2007, 03:14 PM
JANE...hope it's not a cold you have. I just got over these allergies and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Taking a claritin everyday because Jason's doc told him when he went to get a shot, that another round of something (J forgot what) is around the corner. So hoping that prevents anything the next time. Hope you guys enjoy the movie...I saw the previews of it and it looked funny.

Better get going...have lots to do today and not enough time. There's always tomorrow though, lol.

04-16-2007, 08:13 PM
Hi all.I weighed today and i can't beleive it,still no change.I'm not quitting, nope not me,i will not give up.I had two 40 min walks today .I will start this new week with more exercise, more water, more salads and more fish.Something soon has to work i'm running out of ideas.Hope everyone had a great day.

04-16-2007, 08:48 PM
Hey all.

Just wanted to pass along some good news: FIL is home today! :D

Nothing much going on.

Take Care all!

04-16-2007, 11:13 PM
Hi ladies....Got in a 2 miler and didn't get blown away...but, boy was it windy.
Mom got home okay and Baby is thrilled. She is so fickle...I was her favorite while Mom was gone, and now she won't even look at me. haha... I just said to her "let's go to bed" which normally gets her up and running to the bedroom...she didn't even move from Mom's side when I said it. :)

Sassy- That is good news. Hope he gets better and better. You take care.

Amy- I am like you...something has to work eventually. I did eat OP today..and walked. I know we can do it...just taking us awhile, huh?

Jane- Yeah..Baby went to the airport with us. She got so excited. Have you ever boarded Molly? You should try it for a night when you are home...just to check it out.

Cristina- TY...I know it will happen, just not fast enough. :)

Mindee- Your boys are adorable. The concerts in the park sound so neat...and luckily the park is near you. That would be a blast.

Pink Jane- Our weather is slowly getting warmer, but still windy. It actually got up to 58 today. I just couldn't get a bike ride in.....the wind would have blown me over. Ha...:dizzy: I saw the commercial for HIp Hop Abs. Looked like fun, but I can see why it makes a person sore.

Tina- Congrats on your 21st. I just had my 30th...and this is my second marriage. LOL ! Sounds like a good time on your trip.

Don't know what I am doing tomorrow....nothing too exciting except maybe grocery shopping. Hopefully walking, bike riding and eating OP. Right?

04-16-2007, 11:54 PM
Good Evening Ladies:wave:

It was a Gorgeous day today we made it up to 77, it's 9:50 and I still have the windows wide open :)...Had to get up early to get the boy to work so my whole schedule has been outta whack...didn't do much but putter around all day, but got my 60 mins in on the treadmill, watched the news all day mostly, sad sad day, will say a prayer for the victims and their families tonite...made chicken cacciatore for dinner with no yolk whole wheat noodles, was very tasty...Well have a Good Evening Everyone and a Better Day tomorrow

Jane - I just bake them with a little spray of olive oil cooking spray and then add some Mrs Dash garlic and herb and sage they stay pretty moist that way

Sassy - Good to hear your FIL made it home

Sue - Good Job on the 2 miles, LOL Baby missed her and will probably stick to her like glue for weeks

Good Nite Ladies

hello everyone!

Nothing new on this end…..still pregnant though. I am anxious about my upcoming appointment on Thursday! I can’t wait for it to arrive. I wonder what my progress is for this week. Hopefully, we made some progress, especially with all the walking and contractions that I have been having off and on. Brandon is getting sick. He was a little pale today, and even Tommy noticed when he walked in the door from work. He did get some color in his face, but it was mainly from the spaghetti sauce at dinner. So, we will be watching him, and if he is still pale by dinner time tomorrow, then we will be taking him into the doctor’s office. Logan has had a case of the sneezes all day on Monday. So, needless to say the boys both got some medicine and hopefully what ever is trying to make it’s way into the house, is going to get flushed out of here.

As for this weekend, well Tommy has to work on Saturday because he didn’t work this past weekend, which is fine. Brandon’s party is still set up for Sunday, unless Marissa comes, then it will probably be pushed back to next weekend. He is really excited. He even picked out an outfit he wants sister to wear to his birthday party. (do you think he knows something we don’t?)

Sue~ Good luck with your new walking goal! I am sure you are so relieved now that your mom is back.

Cristina~ Your welcome for the updated pics. I was going to put some on here, but I wasn’t sure if any one would want to see them. (I will make sure to post a picture of Marissa when she arrives, so you all can see her) Your allergies are almost gone, and I think Tommy was mentioning that his were starting to act up.

Jane~ At this point, I am just setting a goal to make it to the weekly appointment the following week. Now, whether she wants us to make it to that appointment is up to her. Since both boys were late, I am not sure if I would know what to do if she came early!

Amy~ Sorry to hear about the stand still…..but like the phrase goes “no news is good news.” (meaning, that no gain is great!!)

Sassy~ That is great news! How is your MIL doing? Is she doing better?

Sue~ Another bonus for us, even if we don’t make it to the park for the concerts, Tommy says that we can hear them from where we are. I know we used to be able to hear them sometimes when we first moved in here (and we were in the upstairs apartment close to the park) but now that we are more or less in the back of the complex, I doubt we will be able to hear it. But who knows!

Pink Jane~ How are you doing? I agree with you on Monday being a sad day. Sometimes it makes me wonder about what goes through peoples minds these days. Not to mention, this Friday is the anniversary for Columbine back in 1999, I think it was.

Hello ladies...

MINDEE...tell Tommy to take something now for his allergies. I started with the claritin and then quit and that's when it hit me, and hit me hard. I've been taking one everyday though getting ready for the next round, lol. Hope Brandon isn't getting a cold.

PINKJANE...ugh! 70's by 10 a.m., I am jealous. Started out kind of cool here and then warmed a little but I am sitting in the basement now freezing! I have the fireplace going, lol. WTG on your 60 mn. walk! :carrot:

AMY...I am glad to hear that you are not giving up! I've been there so many times and it's hard. But even if you don't lose every week you are still doing this for your health, so it's all good. Hang in there though missy. too, hang in there. WTG on getting your walk in. I am the same...I want the results now, lol. But I am confident we will all get it off soon enough.

SASSY...woohoo! Glad to hear FIL is home and I hope he is feeling good.

Hi to everyone else  Hoping all is well with you and yours.

What a morning! Was up bright and early to run some errands. Now I know why so many people get mad when going to Lowes, ugh! I didn't get mad, just a little annoyed. Went to get some red paint for V to start the painting. I gave the paper/color to the guy and walked away to get curtain rods thinking when I returned that the paint would be ready like it normally is. I get back, no paint. And I spent about 30 minutes getting curtain rods, lots of curtain rods. There's two guys helping the woman that came up behind me the first time there. Then one finally asks me if I need help. The guy that took the paint chip from me apparently saw that they didn't have the paint I wanted so just walked away to do other things. This manager helped and told me they didn't have a gallon of the paint I wanted but could he give me four qts. for the price of a gallon...sure, whatever. But I spent a little over a hour there because the kid that took my chip walked away. Anyway...stood there longer than I should have but finally got out of there. I had too much running around to do to be spending that much time there. Needless to say it was nice to get home and finally sit down. I will be glad when this is all over and we are completely settled in the house. Anyway...ran to the mall next. Was time to get my wedding rings cleaned and checked so picked up some lotion and candles while there. Oh and soap. I tried the soap at Bath & Body a while back and now I am hooked on that as well. The lotion hand soap. Anyway...

Not changing my ticker until next WI. My scales said I was up 2 pounds and WW said 1. I like their scales better, lol. Funny, thought because our scales are right on with WW, usually.

Sorry for the mini-novel...just been a crazy day.

Take care ladies, and have a nice day!

04-17-2007, 06:12 PM
Cristina~ I will mention it to him. He bought some cough drops earlier today because his throat has been sore. He was going to stop by the store and by some chicken noodle soup for himself for dinner. He has some allergy medicine in the linen closet, so I am sure he will probably start taking them soon.

04-17-2007, 06:54 PM
Thanks for the support everyone.I'm so glad to have you here for support.Im hanging in there.i will not give in and gain it back.:carrot:

Good Evening Ladies:wave:

Just got done doing my 60 mins on the treadmill so I thought I would check in, another beautiful day here 72 with a very lite breeze, sure felt good hitting my sweaty body while I was walking LOL, whole lot of nuthin' goin on today, I hope everyone had a Good Day I'm gonna make myself a turkey burger for dinner, Have a Good Evening

Mindee - I sure hope Brandon is feeling better today

Cristina - Sounds like you had a very busy day

Amy - Hang in there, we all go through stages where the scale gets stuck on stupid

Pink Jane

04-17-2007, 10:22 PM
Amy have no fear...I'm stuck toooooo! I have only come down 1 pound since BEFORE Easter! arghhhhhh! And it was my'd think it would've dropped a lot! And I'm not eating sugar or anything bad. But maybe my inches are coming off now...not really sure. I just have to look at my overall loss. 23.5 and that's NOT toooo shabby!

Hey you guys...hate to ask again but you see I found out that with my daughters contest people can vote daily. (didn't know that) she's getting up there. (now she's in the top 107 out of 3,000 plus... and only has to be in the top 50 to go to the next round)

Here's the link again...

Thanks again for voting for her. ;)

Everything else with me is ok....Im a bit anxious about not getting scale to move (I know how you feel Amy) but it will. It must. The wind is blowing like crazy this afternoon. I'll talk to you guys tomarrow! ;)

04-17-2007, 10:47 PM
my scale hasn't moved in probably a month. It's frustrating. Seems like I do fine and when I start to exercise I screech to a stop.

04-17-2007, 11:26 PM
Sounds like there are several of us with the impossible stalled scale. Let's just throw the *#@* things up against the wall...that'll move them. :)

Our weather got up to 73 today and was lovely. Still a little wind, but we didn't care. I ironed....ugh...dusted and fixed a nice dinner. I walked 2 miles and rode the bike 2 miles. I got new walking shoes and they felt so good. My old ones were like walking on the pavement I had them so long. LOL! I even ate I am feeling really good. Tomorrow is another day however. *fingers crossed* that I can do the same again tomorrow.

Will skip individuals...but, know that I am saying "hi" to all of you and keep your chin up. We can do this!

04-17-2007, 11:30 PM
Take 60 seconds to do this, I guarantee you will show someone else, it's too funny not to.

1. go to
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions"
4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "London" in the second box (the "to" box)
6. scroll down to step #23 on the list of directions on the left panel

I am VERY amused....hehe!

04-17-2007, 11:45 PM
Thanks all.

Yes FIL is home and feeling better and so is MIL. They never did figure out what he had, but they did say it was viral, so now we could all get it and infact, FIL thinks that is what DH has, at least the very beginning stages. So I told DH to call the Dr. in the morning, just to be safe. We have had a flu outbreak at work too, so it could be that, but I don't wanna risk it.

My mom is requesting off May 21st - 27th (she's coming up to visit us), so I told hub, we could request off the 24th & 25th of May (Thursday & Friday) and that would give us a week off. (our scheduled nights off are Monday - Wed). I already emailled my counter-part who works on my nights off, as he just got laid off on his other job he was also working, so he wants overtime. I figure it would be lots easier to get off if I already have coverage, so we'll see.

Our weather is nice again, for how long, who knows? But I am glad, as for once my back isn't killing me!

Well take care all.

04-18-2007, 12:26 AM
Pink Jane~ Brandon was much better today. Although he didn’t take a nap so he went to bed early. He knows the drill…..if he doesn’t take a nap, then it is an early bedtime for him. Logan was beyond exhausted at dinner time. So, they were both pistols to try and get to eat dinner. Logan was ready to go before he ate, but I wanted him to eat before he went to bed.

Tina~ I will go to the site and bookmark it so I can vote daily.

Sassy~ I saw that the other day. I never laughed so hard in my life before. That step cracked me up! That is great news about your MIL & FIL!

04-18-2007, 10:01 AM
Good morning, ladies,

Marti - I'm thinking about you as you move!

Amy - as the others have said, just keep at it. "Fake it until you make it" is a good way to look at losing. Just think of yourself as a thin person, and act accordingly, lol.

Cristina -a visit to Lowe's does usually become a challenge if you need an employee for anything. :dizzy: And the weekends are the worst! So what kind of soap do you by at Bath and Body Works? I had some raspberry with beads in it that someone gave me for Christmas, and I really liked it. Usually I just buy the Jergen's liquid hand soap at Wally World. It smells like cherries and almonds. Thanks for the tip about Claritin.

Sue - Molly would totally freak out if I boarded her. Usually we pay someone to come and stay at the house with her. But given where I live, that's not always the easiest thing to accomplish. HAHA, funny about Baby!

Pink Jane - mmmm, I just love chicken cacciatore, but since Neal doesn't care for it, I hardly ever make it. I put a little red wine in mine - does your recipe call for any?

Mindee - glad Brandon is better. Gina's doctor told her it's time to take her leave from work now. She works with mentally challenged adults in a group home, teaching them to function in everyday life, and they sometimes become combative. I'm always afraid she's going to get hurt. How're you feeling today?

Tina - 23.5 is great! As you said, the inches are coming off, so be sure and measure and I bet you'll be happy with those results.

Jodi - the weigh loss will catch up, sweetie. Just hang in there.

Jules & Mary Kate- hope you both are doing ok. I really miss your posts.

A big hello to anyone else reading this.

Well ladies, the movie was cute but guess what? It WAS NOT 3-D in our theater, can you believe that? They aren't set up for 3d, although it is a new theater, with stadium seating and wonderful surround sound.

Yesterday I went to Evansville to Hobby Lobby with Marquita and Anita and got the neatest rolling scrapbook supply tote, plus some other "neccesities", lol. Lots of stickers, more scissors, etc.

I am still 100% OP and lovin' it. The exercise needs to be kicked up somewhat, though.

Have a good one, ladies!

04-18-2007, 10:25 AM
Hi all. Thanks Jane for the advice.I'm not giving up.i'm going to mix up my exercise routine a bit.i walked 3 miles this morning. The weather was cold and wet but i went anyway and i feel great.:carrot:

04-18-2007, 03:12 PM
Hi ladies...

Nothing much going on. Thought I would do my grocery shopping today instead of waiting until tomorrow. Supposed to rain again tomorrow and then storms this weekend as well. Got that done and thought I would check two more Hallmarks for the soldier another 8 and there are no more to be found. Not at Hallmark anyway, lol. The girl called four other stores and they had none so...

JANE...I buy several...but my favorite is brown sugar & fig (think that is what it is called). I buy the lotion as well. DD likes the sweet pea and I added cucumber & melon and something cotton. I've used all these lotions and the soaps smell the same. I also use the jergins cherry almond lotion on my body. The stuff I buy there is a little better on my hands and feet. I've not tried their hand soap. throat was sore too. But it was from trying to breathe with my mouth open, lol. I was all stopped up. Glad Brandon is feeling better.

SASSY...I went to the site, omg! That is too funny. That would be quite the journey, lol! glad FIL is home and feeling good. Hoping you guys don't come down with a cold or what he had. Hope you can get the days off to spend with your mom. I am going to be heading to AR to visit my dad sometime soon. He's not doing so well but I haven't had the chance to get down there. He's having some surgery May 12 so I don't know if it will be that time when I go or sooner.

Hi to everyone else

Not really in a talkative mood today. I feel drained! But, I am going to help V by taking down all the stuff about the kitchen cabinets, curtains, stuff off the wall and the stuff down from the plant shelf in the living room. He is starting some painting today and this will cut down on his work time. We are painting the kitchen red. Actually, it's brick dust red. The way the wall is with the plant shelf in the LR it connects with the main kitchen wall so it will be red. I was worried it would be dark but with all the sun light we get in there, no worries. I don't really care either though, lol. Anyway...

Have a good day ladies!

04-18-2007, 03:47 PM
Good Afternoon Ladies!!

Sorry that I've been MIA for a few days. I worked a few nights shifts that I hate. I don't know has Sassy does it!! I was a zombie yesterday, then couldn't get to sleep last night. I'm finally back to normal today but the eating non-stop to stay awake has probably taken it's toll on my weightloss. Afraid to even get on the scale for a few days.

Marti--hope all is going well with your move.

Mindee--your boys are beautiful, can't wait to see a pic of Marissa when whe finally arrives!

Jane--that salad with chicken & fruits sounds yummy. We don't board our dogs either. I have to take my boys to a co-worker's house in a few weeks for a "play date" with her dog to see if they get along before she decides if she will watch them when we go to the beach. If not, my cleaning girl might stay at my house and watch them. I get really stressed each year because it's always someone different watching them.

Tina--got my vote again!! I have a friend who just left for Vegas last night. She and her dh go a few times a year and they always get their room, meals and shows comped. They must spend a ton on gambling but always come home with more than they gamble.

Cristina--love hearing about your decorating. I love red and was considering using it for my backsplash in the kitchen but the family vitoed it and I ended up with navy. I'm finally getting the nerve to go a little bolder with colors. I too, have a love/hate relationship with Lowes!

Pink Jane--I'm jealous of your weather. Just finished with the noreaster that blew through the area but our temps are still chilly.

Sassy--glad to hear that FIL is home. Just think, if we all swam to London, maybe we would finally reach our weight goals, or at least drown trying. Gonna tell others about those directions!!

Amy, Jodie, Sue, Tina--I believe that I have joined the "Stalled Scale Club" without even being invited. We all have got to stop meeting like this!! Of course, watching Paula Deen is not helping me. But she did do a peanut butter cookie today that only used PB, splenda, vanilla and an egg.

A big "hey ya'll" to those that I missed. Yes my party was a blast Sat. night but unfortuantely I couldn't try out any of my "purchases" due to my TOM and then working night shifts. So if you don't hear from me this weekend... oh, la la!! Going to my usual Wed night dance tonight then working a 12 hr shift tomorrow. I have a 4 day weekend off this weekend and hoping my son visits. He's stationed about 4 hrs away and only gets home every few months or so. But I feel very blessed to have him still stateside. Gotta run to the bank and get ready for dance. Have a wonderful evening ladies!!

04-18-2007, 08:09 PM
Just a quickie...
My niece still hasn't had her baby, I thought her due date was last week but it is actually tomorrow. Her baby is head down but facing the wrong way and they will have to "turn" him if he doesn't do it on his own. A couple of people have said that it is painful when they do it. My SIL said that she had 20 minutes of the braxton hicks and it was almost too much for her. Hopefully she will have a very short labor and delivery. My co worker who was due the beginning of next month had her baby boy, 6 lbs and 3 oz named Blake. My friend Becky is due May 4th with her 3rd and she is ready now she says. It's her third and the daddy's 1st at 45. I have been friends with him since I was around 12 and I just love her. I think he will have a harder time than her during the labor part. Hubby and I have been still having trouble. I finally made him start taking my anxiety pills and they are beginning to help.

well hopefully I can stay caught up from this point!!

04-18-2007, 09:13 PM
Hullo there!

Its starting to storm here, so guess I shouldn't be on too long. :p

Anyways, I think DH is starting to feel better, so I think it was just a "bug" from work. ;)

Cristina -- Well I already got someone to cover for one of the days! I skipped the "middle-wo-man" (our boss) and went ahead and emailled my counter part and he said he would be able to work on the Thursday (May 24th) but not the Friday. That Friday is going to be very tough to find coverage as its the Friday before Memorial Day! So I figure if anything, I will just take my Thursday off and work on Friday. Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he is okay and that you get to go and see him.

Tammy - I think I was just born for night shift. I absolutely love it and I am the exact opposite of you, I hate day shift, I always have. I don't know how all of you do it every day, I hated days!

LOL that is probably true, if we did swim over to London, we all would be toothpicks! hmmmmmmmmm. hee hee!

Enjoy your 4 day weekend and I hope you get to see your son!

Hey Jules! I hope your niece has a smooth & uncomplicated delivery! Sorry to hear about you and DH having trouble, I hope everything is okay? Feel free to PM or email me if you want!

A Big Hi  to everybody else out there! I hope you all are doing well!

04-18-2007, 11:05 PM
Oh, Happy Day!!!

Sanjaya has been voted out!!!!

04-19-2007, 01:10 AM
hello everyone!

Nothing new on this end…..still pregnant though. I am anxious about my upcoming appointment tomorrow! I can’t wait for it to arrive. I wonder what my progress is for this week. Hopefully, we made some progress, especially with all the walking and contractions that I have been having off and on. I am still having contractions, and have been since Sunday. So, hopefully things have moved along nicely for us!

Jane~ I was wondering when Gina’s doctor was going to tell her to take her maternity leave, or if she was even taking one at all. I would worry about her as well. My parents have kids with special needs, and they can get combative as well, so I know why you would worry about her. I am feeling good…..I am still having contractions, so I am sure once that is mentioned, and that I have been having them since Sunday, that will be the deal breaker. That and they are getting stronger with each passing day.

Amy~ Great job on the exercise! I found that when I was trying to loose the baby weight after Logan, switching my routine up a bit helped a lot from making it into a dreaded part of my day. It is always the best when you can “change the scenery” so to speak!

Cristina~ He didn’t mention about his throat being sore today. BUT, every Wednesday one of the local news stations does a “what’s going around?” segment on their evening news cast. For the county that we live in, they have been seeing a lot of the stomach virus (which he already had) and strep throat (which he thinks he might have, since he seems to get every thing) at local hospitals. Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope you get to go and see him.

Tammy~ Thanks for the nice comments on the boys. I am definitely going to post a picture of Marissa when she arrives, which I am hoping is soon!

Jules~ Good luck to your niece! I remember when I was ready for Brandon to arrive. Heck, I was even worse when waiting for Logan to arrive because my doctor with him didn’t break the water to speed things along. She was more into the “let nature take it’s course.” I am hoping at my appointment in less then 12 hours, I can get sent to the hospital. I can guarantee that I won’t be able to make another week with having contractions like I have been since Sunday.

Sassy~ How the heck are you girl???

04-19-2007, 10:28 AM
A Semi-drive-by to let y'all know I'm not dead ;)

Tina - Are you bouncing?

Mindee - Handsome Lil boys you have!

Marti - Congrats on the new place.

Jules - Hugs to you & hubby

4Amy - You are an inspiration.

Jane - YaY for staying OP!

Pink Jane - 'Ello! Cute Avatar!

Tammy - Wow, warn a person before you start mentioning Paula Deen Recipes, will ya?? (j/k)

It seems lately I have an hour here or half hour there, snatched for 1-housework or 2-exercise or 3-computer or 4-me time. I've cut wa-ay back on the last two.
I've gone on one walk and one bike ride this week so far. Bought new sneakers and I think the retched things must be made wrong...seriously KILLed my right heel. I'm taking them back & exchanging them.
Planning on hiking at Eagle Creek this weekend. :running:
Over the past two weeks, hubby & I have managed to eat less buffet food and more salads and healthy meals at home. Every little bit helps, but I don't think I'm loosing, just keeping steady.
If I'm feeling sadistic tomorrow, I might weigh myself!

04-19-2007, 11:51 AM
Good morning, ladies,

Mindee - I got your PM, and have to say the box got there a day ahead of when I thought it would! You are so very welcome for the gifts for the kids, and yes, I'd love to see a photo of little Marissa in the sundress someday. I'm glad to know the boys like the Color Wonders stuff. Let us know what the doctor says today.

Amy - yay for perseverance!

Cristina - I'm going to be at the craft/fabric store this morning, and the Hallmark store is next door, so I'll check and see if they have any of those bears you want. If they do, I'll buy them and send them to you. My treat for the troops. Oooooohhh, your kitchen will be so cool with that color. Are you going with a cherry theme, or apples, or what?

Tammy - I'm so glad the people here understand my stressing out over leaving Molly when I go to Florida. I will admit that I may be stressing a little prematurely, though, since we aren't going until next March, lol. Have a good 4 days off, and enjoy your son.

Jules - yowza, all the babies! We're counting down the days for Jackson's arrival. 13 to go! You're a very bright person, so I know you've considered your options for counseling, etc with DH (the D can stand for other words than Dear, lol), so there's no need to go into any of that, but I want you to know that I'm here for you and if you need me. All you have to do is call. It doesn't matter what time, ok?

Jodi - thank you for the card! Any time I get a card from one of you, it tickles me pink (would that make me Pink Jane, lol) Anyway, that was unexpected and I thank you.

Sassy - you didn't mention what you've been up to. Anything fun?

Jen - good luck with weigh in today. Be sure to check your body measurements even if you don't show a loss at the scales.

Hello to everyone else reading this.

I've got to get off here and get my menus and grocery list done so I can go shopping. I need to pick up some scrapbook supplies, too, and also want to go to the Hallmark House for Cristina. Madison is going to be my girl today, and she loves to shop, so this will be fun. We'll do lunch out, too.

Speaking of food - I am still OP and feeling great. :carrot:

Just a fly-by. My brain is on overload this week. I started my new job on Monday and there is just SOOOOO much to learn. The lady who is training me told me yesterday that I need to cool it- that I am pushing myself too hard. So, I really tried to talk myself out of freaking out- lol. So today things went pretty well and she even said that she could tell I wasn't as nervous. So, tomorrow she is going to come in a little later so that I have to get started on my own to see how I will do. I think she is wanting to not be working anymore.
I think I have the deposit down pat and all, it's all the rest of it. Putting parts in the system, checking if they have arrived, making sure they are ordered... arghhhhh all this stuff takes experience. I am just afraid someone is going to need an answer to something that I have no idea what they are talking about.

Sassy- I have been curious, what kind of work do you do?

Ok, that's all for me today. Have a good day!

04-19-2007, 02:29 PM
Hello ladies...

JANE...that would be awesome! And thank you! The red isn't red but more a darker red and I like it. It doesn't seem dark at all with all the windows and light in there. I don't think I could go with bright red. But I am trying to find roosters. For some reason I like the look of the roosters, mostly too all the colors in the ones I have seen. But not really doing a theme, just adding some here and there without going overboard. I'll share some photos once it's done. Although, everytime I see one I want to buy it, lol. Bet Gina & Terry are getting excited! I know I am for you guys. I meant to add to the borading thing...we did it with Ernie one time and that poor doggy was scared to death. I will never do it again. If no one is home to take care of him, then he goes with us. He's ruined a couple of vacations for us, but it was worth not seeing him scared to death.

Speaking of pictures...did I mention the bank we got our mortgage thru gave us a gift? There was actually a whole list of things to choose from. From silverware, to luggage, to a weedwacker, etc. It was between a digital camera and the flat stereo/cd player. We had been meaning to get a camera for a while and so went with that. That and mine broke. I thought that was nice of them. I know they make tons of money, but still. They do this for everyone who gets a mortgage thru them now. Anyway, just thought that was cool.

MINDEE...I can't believe how fast the time is flying by. Little Marissa (& Jackson) will be here before you know it. Are you ready for her?

JULES...hugs to you missy. Sorry DH is still being a bear. I hope that they don't use forceps on your nieces baby. Of course I don't know what else they would use to turn the baby...just heard bad things about the use of them. I didn't realize so many were having babies...must be the water, lol. ;) I like the name Blake friends third is Blake Alexander...always like the way it flowed.

SASSY...well, I am glad that you at least get Thursday off. So do you guys have fun things planned? How is your MIL & FIL doing? Bet he is glad to be home! And, glad DH is better and it was just a bug. My dad is having problems breathing...has a bad heart. He's had problems for a few years, but my mom said it is getting worse. She is going over and cooking for him and cleaning, doing his laundry and such. he was supposed to go to the doctor and see about getting oxygen to help him. I know he won't be around much longer and I want to see him before he goes.

TAMMY...I bet the navy is pretty! I love color on the walls. Glad you had fun at the party. I've not been watching AI but I have been hearing about Sanjaya, lol. are you doing? Can't remember when or if you mentioned when you would be starting the new job. Are you excited?

PINKJANE...glad you got to talk with DH. I think I saw that Toad Lick on Jay Leno or something. It was mentioned sometime and I thought that was just the oddest name for a town, lol. I'm like you though, nothing is going to get me off the treadmill until I am done.

Hi everyone else

Nothing much going on with me today. Sticking around the house and getting some things done. I've not gotten a lot done that I was going to do because I've not felt so great. Now I am feeling kind of tired and run down. Don't know if it is still the allergies or what. I am making an appt. to see the doc though...passed my yearly and never rescheduled. So doing that, and making an appt. for my mamogram as well, ugh. I really hate that. The first time wasn't so bad, since then it just seems so painful, ouch. It's gotta be done though. Making an appt. to take my vehicle in as well. Oil change, tires rotated and brakes checked. Blah, blah, blah...same old, same old.

Have a good day ladies!

HiYa JODI!

You posted while I was writing that book, lol! And of course answered my question. I would be nervous too, but aren't we all when we start a new job? Maybe, it's just me, and you, lol. :dunno: I worry about silly things. Once you get the hang of things you will be fine. It will be like you have worked there forever. Besides, they have to know you are new and it will take some time. So try to take it easy on yourself missy.

PinkJane--your caccitore sounds yummy. DH hated our son-in-law, turns out he was the only one not fooled. He's no longer our SIL and actually had the nerve to bring his live in girlfriend to the divorce hearing.

Jane--Jackson is one of the name choices of my niece. In our early years DH was physically abusive and I left. We got counseling and it stopped. Now with me going to the gym and being very independent. There has been no physical abuse because he knows that I would leave him in a second if there was. Our problems are more of a power struggle with him trying to control everything I do and me being way past that point and not going back there again. It may be a little of the insecurity he gets when I start losing weight and going to the gym and him not losing. Our friend told him the other day that he is causing all his stress himself and is going to give himself a heart attack!! My anxiety pills are getting him calmed down and in a better mood. Thanks for the concern.

HappyM--I can't wait until we have sunshine and warmer weather, there is a trail that my son went on that I have never been to so we are planning to go as soon as the weather breaks and we are both free.

Mindee--here's hoping for a fast & easy labor and delivery for you too!! and soon!!

Tammy--I am usually a AI fan but this year I really didn't have any faves, it was like that for me the year Fantasia won too. I loved Kelly, hated Justin in 1,loved both Reuben & Clay in 2, didn't get into 3, loved both Bo & Carrie in 4, Chris Daughtery was my pick in 5 and now this year not into it again.

Sassy--thanks for the warm thoughts, DH doesn't deal well with stress and he is heaping more on than he has too. He does seem to want to try to be more controlling and have a say in every aspect of my life (and the with kids too) when he feels out of control. Hopefully he is getting it together. The stress also causes his gout to act up which makes him grumpier from the pain!!

Well I really have to get back to work!!

Jodi--yay for the new job!!! I do the training here and I always tell people that it is a learning process and one step builds on another and the most important thing to remember when you make a mistake is that mistake has been made before and it will be made after. There's no shame in telling someone that you are new and are learning so you will have to get back to them with an answer.

Cristina--If DH doesn't stop being a "bear with a sore arse" or actually a sore foot with his gout, I may just have to kick him. Coworkers baby Blake's middle name is Hayes. My allergies are acting up to--eyes especially!!
