Good Morning.
The server was down this a.m. so I just send some of you the URL for the extra Chicken Coop. Remember when the server changed and we were worried about being lonesome? Anyhow, we are up and running now.
Cold again and DH has the woodstove going. I am going to make a quick trip to the Office to sign some cheques and spend the rest of the day at home doing fun stuff. I need to make King Herod a more regal robe for the Country Christmas Pageant and also do some gift wrapping so I can get stuff in the mail early this year. Rumour has it that the mail may be slower this year.
How is your day shaping up?
Catch you later.

Morning Ruth and all the chickies to follow,
Well finally made it to the gym this morning at 5:30. Yee Ha! I was absent last week due to training on our new Information management system. The days were long and they provided tons of food, which I was too tired to resist. I was really off the wagon. But Monday came and just think that I may have found that "attitude" component I have been missing for so long. I ate on program, never thought of cheating, drank my water, played volleyball for 2 hours and had a great day. Oh I just hope and pray that I can maintain this attitude!
Ruth, Last Wednesday evening I went to my sister's dog's puppy class graduation. She has an Austrialian Cattle Dog. Some ladies there helped me find a local woman who has 2 PWDs. They gave me the phone and told me to call her. This gal talked endlessly about the wonders of the breed and put me in contact with a kennel in Traverse City (a mere 4 hour drive) that raises PWDs. She also has a young female that she plans on breeding soon!
Hi Peachie, great news about Jiff and the little guy. My Don has an autistic girl in his class and they are best of friends, she is also in his religious ed class. Don always takes pride in helping her whenever he can. She always looks to Don for friendship. I am very proud of him.
AdoAnnie great to see you posting so much.
Pookie, Susan, and all of those recommitting, I am with you. It is great to see so many of us jumping back on the op way of life.
Have a great op day!

Good Morning Ruth and Jenny and all those to come!
Ruth, know exactly how you feel about gettingthose packages in the mail ASAP, I had to have the one out to my inlaws by the beginning of November or it wouldn't get there in time!
Jenny, thanks for your help hon, maybe a good old fashioned kick in the patootie will get me some more addresses!?
As for me, much less stressed now than I was yesterday. The stove is half recovered, at least I can use my burners but not my oven. My dh sent over the company electrician to have a look at our wiring and grave news indeed. I live in an older home and the person who wired it wired the stove wrong. Boils down to us having to get it rewired and that's going to co$t us.
My plan for today is get back OP--water, eggs and steak hanging outi the fridge. No bones about it, I'm going to do it!
Have a great day everyone! :)

Howdy Ho Everyone...... Its unbelieveable but we're having another beautiful day here in the Ozarks. Frosty in the morning and then 65 and 66 in the afternoon. Deer hunting started here last Sat. and I hate it. We live in the woods with our nearest neighbor a mile away. And right on the river. You can hear the guns go off and it always makes me sad. Now mind you I love a mess of fried venison but hate the part of the beautiful animals that we see running around our place being shot... My husband doesn't hunt anymore. But I think its cause he's to lazy! Anyway its a beautiful time weather wise. We still build a little fire in our stove in the morning.... I started doing a little Christmas shopping on-line at Toys-r-us yesterday. I can't believe the stuff back ordered. Should have started a couple weeks ago... Is it that time already??????? Hope everyone has a great day....... Toni

It's a cold and damp morning here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I'm trying desperately to stay OP. I haven't really cheated since I began this woe on July 23rd (other than the occassional blended mocha), but I'm REALLY craving a loaf of bread or some good ole Texas Toast!
I've gotten more exercise these past 4 days than I've had the last 5 months put together (LOL), since I'm out walking the new dog every few hours. Do you think it's possible that the burning or more calories is creating the insatiable need for carbs? :?:
I hope you all are doing great today!

Howdy!
Jenny! Give your little Don a great big hug for me!!!! Some kids can be so nasty but the good apples are just treasures...and you have got one!!! I love your kid!
Ever hear of candy cane seeds? My guys are going to make this for their cousins and Aunties. You take a clay pot and sponge it with red and white paint, put in those little red and white round peppermint candies, wrap the whole shabang with cellophane and a cute candy cane label that says "candy cane seeds"
Toni, did you do a craft show with dolls? How did it go? I have this irrational fantasy of buying the old out of use train station down town and making it into a craft store. oh well, one can dream...but then I think it could be a nightmare too
Anyway, been doing strange things with Debbie Mum and Mary Englebrett Christmas wall hanging fabric! FABRIC CLUE IS A WONDERFUL THING!!! (wonder if I have been sniffing too much of it:eek:
Been fighting the war of diplomacy with the squirrels at the little guy's bird feeder. The feeder is hung on the deck on a inverted L type post for hanging plants. the little guy sits under it with a net and tries to catch a bird for hours and they just keep on coming! (no he won't catch one...I don't think!) I have asked the squirrels politely not to dump it, I have told them that the neighbor 3 houses down will feed them peanuts...they all ready knew that, I have chased them with peacock feathers and have even heard dh growl at them! Finally...at least for 24 hours they have been leaving it alone since I placed metal buckets of skeeter beaters on the post and sprayed the plastic tops with cooking oil! :s: :D:
So that is my biggest challenge of the day...Life is good...and I am op! how 'bout that!!!!:D
all the good stuff to you chickies!

Hi,
Finally got my butt back to Curves yesterday after a month off because I was embarrassed about the weight I had gained. One of the owners asked me if they could submit before and after pics of me to the main office since I am one of their top losers. I told her I would as soon as I'm back down to where I was before the weight gain. There are posters in the centers showing big losers. I doubt that I'll make any posters since I've only lost 38 lbs since I started Curves in April (most of the women on the posters have lost 100+ lbs while at Curves), but it was cool to be asked.
Pooky - Sorry about your stove. Good luck getting back OP.
Ruth - I'm so glad about your friend. That is truly a miracle.
Lara - Those Sara Lee brownie bites commercials kill me when they say "one bite at a time." More like one BOX at a time in my case. :o
Jenny - I hope we can both maintain a good attitude. I firmly believe that's the biggest key to success in anything. Don sounds like a sweetie.
Hi to everybody!
Jennifer
