While I love it here, I must agree with Currydi. I need the meetings with the leaders and people. My DH is so proud of me, but he just doesn't get it the way other WW members do. And even though it's silly, I need those 5 pound stickers and the applause for a job well done. I also don't own a scale. I don't want to own a scale, but I do want to keep track of progress. Having to go to the meetings to weigh in keeps me informed and on track without allowing me to become obsessed with what the scale says. In addition, the ideas, support and commraderie gained by going to the meetings is priceless.
Now, back to your original question, as you can tell I do attend meetings, but I do not pay weekly, I do the monthly pass. I LOVE it. There are no excuses for not going, as the meetings have already been paid for. This helps me also because I get paid only once a month, and sometimes on that last Saturday before payday I might be tempted to save that $12, but I don't have to choose now because again, it's already paid for. Good luck with your decision!
