Anyone had any success with the GI diet? I tried it for a couple of months and had success but would like to hear others who have tried it out.

Unfortuntely I didn't have success. Perhaps I was eating too much? I was eating all green light foods..I made the oatcakes which actually weren't horrible and some chocolate things with mushed up beans that was actually good. Even dh ate them and he wasn't on a plan..lol
However for me, I think there are a bit too many carbs in it..or something, becasue I didn't lose a thing..

i'm supposed to follow that diet as i have polycystic ovaries and eating a low GI diet is supposed to greatly reduce the side effects. i would be curious to hear how that is for others too. i just started metabolic research center's plan about 2 wks ago and that follows a low GI plan for the most part and have lost a decent amount of weight so far. once done, i will continue to follow the GI diet
