 I don't know if a list already exists, but is there a list somewhere where grocery store prepared foods are listed with points?

If there isn't - what is everyone's favorite food items to buy at the grocery store?

I like the 2% Kraft sliced cheese (and shredded cheeses that are 2% too) - I gave up on the fat free ones. Just didn't like the taste.

I love Boco burgers. (Put them on 2 slice/1 point bread, with mustard, and some pickle stackers - yum!).

Look forward to hearing from everyone!

Thanks and happy pointing!

Cheree

For those of you who don't mind NutraSweet, I think this is fairly new, but I purchased the Smuckers brand Light/Sugar Free Red Raspberry Preserves and it is very good (I think they have other flavors too).

It is for 1 Tbsp:
10 calories; 0 g Fat; 0 g Fiber

Does anyone know any one point English Muffins?

Thanks!

Cheree

In NY we can buy King Kullen brand or American Choice brand which are both one point English Muffins. I like them with a poached egg on one half and I Can't Believe It's NOt Butter Lite
on the other half. I hope you can find some where you live.;)

I love the skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. They are only 2 points, but they don't taste artificial. They remind me of the ones I used to eat when I was a kid; where the cookie part sticks to your fingers. Yum!!!

Cheree - I know country kitchen has an english muffin for 1pt (or is it 2? - no I believe its just 1pt for the whole thing). Its not bad - but I don't go crazy looking for them. They don't have the nooks and crannies like Thomas' does! They are in a clear package and they are standing up (like bagels) the label is blue. Good luck!

Tara :)

Oh yeah - I forgot to add my grocery store list:

string cheese - 2-3pts each
fat free chocolate pudding - 2pts (and it counts as milk too!)
2% cheese slices (for grilled cheese!)
brummel and brown margarine - YUM!
snackwell chocolate chip cookies (mini)

There are more - but I am drawing a blank!

There is currently a web site that has many food points listed, as well as fast food places not listed in the Dining Out companion. The website is www.dwlz.com. I have found this site very useful when planning to eat. I have also purchased thw new Weight Watchers bread. The wheat is very good and two slices for one point. I am starting Weight Watchers again after taking a pause for medical reasons. I hope that this helps.

Watch out for the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. If you purchase the 'new' packaged ones, they are now 3 points instead of 2. The company must have changed some of the ingredients.

The No Pudge ice cream products are really good. Their Giant Strawberry Shortcake bars and Cookies and Creme cones are 2 pts each and taste like real ice cream. Breyer's CalSmart ice cream is sweetened with Splenda and is only 1 pt for a half cup. I've only had the Vanilla flavor, which is like their vanilla bean. It's really good. I like the 100-calorie packs (2 pts) and Kashi cereal bars (2 pts).
