I have officially lost 50 pounds! I couldn't believe my scale said 170 this morning. I have this huge grin on my face that's going to last for a while:D I'm also fitting into a size 14 comfortably now. I started at size 20;)

I started seriously in August, and I have no doubt that this website has played a key role in my weight loss. I had hoped a while ago to be down to 165 by my 23rd birthday in May, and that mini-goal is getting more reachable every day. So so so happy!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! That's awesome, 50lbs in 8 months is great! Good for you. I would be smiling forever as well.

And losing sizes is always gratifying.

I just wanted to chime in here and say congratulations as well! Always nice to get to that point before summer officially arrives too.

Great inspiration for all of us, definitely.

You have done so good. What :dust: you have. It is really hard losing 50 lbs. in just 8 short months. I have been going at it since the last week in october. Way to go!

Thanks so much! I owe a lot to a few things:

1) the awesome free gym at my university (I try to go about 5 days a week)
2) the great salad bars and healthy food places at my grocery stores and school
3) all the great food/exercise advice I get from 3fatchicks, not to mention the inspiration
4) writing down everything I eat, or at least keeping a "grand calorie" total in my head throughout the day. I try to eat between 1200-1500 calories.

Who would have thought that exercise and a low-calorie diet actually causes weight loss! And I feel so healthy too. I want to keep this up for the rest of my life. :carrot:

oh how I wish I could be saying I had lost 50 pounds!! You are my hero!! And there was another one on here that says she has lost 50 pounds too....Jennylou! Congrats to you both!! Such hard work and dedication it takes to see something tough like this thru. I admire you both...All of you who have lost weight!! I only want to lose a total of about 66 pounds...I was half way there when I stopped excersizing last june and gained back about 7 pounds. And here I go again trying to drop to my goal!! But anyways....congrats to you all!!
