Some things you can do to reduce the calories and fat are to ask your
server to have the bun dry toasted and not to put any additional margarine
on them. Also ask them to not put any griddle fry to the burger on the
grill.
This information is for the burger only. The analysis does not include
the french fries. To provide greater nutritional benefit you may make a
substitute for the french fries.
Below is the nutrition information on the Boca Burger.

Calories 616
Fat 28 grams
Sat Fat 5 grams
Cholesterol 14 mg
Sodium 861mg
CHO 66 grams
Fiber 10 grams
Sugar 10 grams
Protein 29 grams

12.65 for 1-2-3 Success and 13.85 for Winning Points.

I got this in an e-mail from Denny's.

Holy smoke! That restaurant-sized patty is available in stores and by itself it has only 140 calories! Where on earth are those 28 fat grams coming from? And those nearly 400 extra calories?

Thanks for this information! I have been seriously deluded about this choice. I took off half the bun but clearly that didn't make it a 4 point meal!

(By the way, they will substitute a baked potato for the fries.)

They grill it in oil or butter for one; they butter the bun to brown it too. That is a big bun they put it on.

Ouch Kelly! Thanks for the info. I don't have a Denny's handy, but this sure wises me up to other places that offer a Boca Burger. Thanks for the tips about grilling the bun, etc. I have to say I am really shocked about the point information. :dizzy:
