I've used Windor Pilates for a long time, it's awesome! It tones you up. You just feel so much stonger afterwards. I went down about 2 sizes in 2 months. I would recommend it to anyone of any shape or size.

I've used several Winsor Pilates dvds for my thighs and bum in the past; they were very effective! I have not tried any new WP dvds lately so I can't comment on which dvd you're using to help your abs :) But definitely, try Winsor Pilates, and you'll see results after a while!

There's a 15 minute abs with the band winsor video that I particularly like... that one's a real ouchie!

I don't have the exact one you have but I LOVE the Winsor Buns&Thighs DVD. LOVE it! You will notice quick results. I also have the Abs one and while it is good, it's just not my favorite abs workout. You'll have to try it and see if it's a fit for you.

An acquaintance let me borry her DVD, it's "Winsor Pilates Basic 3 DVD Workout Set - Basics; 20 Monute Workout; and Accelerated Body Sculpting". Is that what you have?

Pilates is VERY new to me. Ive heard of it for years, but never tried it til now. I did the 20 Minute Workout (after watching the basics) and did find it quite challenging. And a little foreign to me...is that "100" thing, with the breathing and pumping of arms, common with Pilates, or just Mari Winsor?

But I admit that I felt my abs be sore the day after, and I guess I haven't challenged them in a while. It felt like I accomplished something!

I will try to do it more often, 'cause I do like the stretching/elongating of muscles, and the focus on the abs, and let you know. I also do Curves at least 4X a week, and other fitness videos at home.

I havent tried the Winsor Pilates....but I do have a Pilates for Dummies DVD (which I forgot about until I read this thread!) I remember even after 15 minutes of doing that, I was SORE and worn out. So Winsor or otherwise, I'd say Pilates is always a good choice.

I'm gonna have to dust off that DVD when I get home ;)

I've done Winsor pilates 20 minute workout - and it really does tone you up. Some parts were almost impossible to do at first, but after a week I could start to see improvement.

Hmmm - I should start doing it again.

For years ive watched it advertised late night on TV. My bf bought me the set a while back, and I thought I was going to die doing them. Im sure they work, however, I couldnt do one darn thing that they were doing, except breathing. Im totally out of shape, and my friend told me it took a while for her to get used to it. However, the only thing I did was the breathing, and when I layed down on the mat, I never got back up. :D lol

I have the Winsor Pilates sculpting circle DVD and love it -I definitely feel the workout in my abs plus the 10 minute sculpting additional workout is great for the arms- it uses the sculpting circle. I do it as part of my exercise routine - once a week, so I dont know about results soley through use of Winsor Pilates - but I feel it working.
