Default Long Wait at COD

Does anyone else here have a long wait at COD???..I get so frustrated every time i go there...I waited 40 minutes to be weighed yesterday....when i first joined, there were always at least 3 counselors present...the last 4 or 5 WI's, there is one counselor, who i dont care for much and it makes it more frustrating...I am starting to dread going to WI because of that... arrrrggghhhh...is there a number that i can call to complain???..my time is valuable to me...

I've had that problem too, Linda. I suggest that you make an appointment with the manager to let her know that it is an issue. I had to do that a few months ago when I sort of went off on a counselor for everyone ignoring me in the waiting room because they were all tied up with new customer appointments. Basically I told her that it was a poor reflection on the company that their clients that have already paid are treated badly just so they can sign up more people. I wasn't having a fit just to get special treatment, I really wanted something to change. It seems much better now, I think that they only have one counselor taking in new clients now.

I'm seeing a problem also. I went for a weigh in yesterday after my first "real" week on the diet. I was trying also to get to the gym on time for a class. Two new people were sitting there filling out forms. There were others in line ahead of me. It ended up that they called me in, weighed me and told me that they would give me a $10 credit for next time. They said they were short staffed, etc. Then they said that they would see me next week. I was down 2 pounds (!!!!) and I've been on this diet before, so I was okay with this. HOWEVER, if I was brand new to the diet, I would have been upset because my diary wasn't checked, etc. Also, they told me that I only need to come in once a week, unlike the usual 2-3 times that they've recommended in the past. I think this is due to the short staffing. Interesting....I hope they come up with a solution.

I know that Joni has gone to her COD without a lot of time to waste and did something called a Quick Weigh In where she went and weighed herself on the COD's scale and wrote it down next to her name with "QWI". I'm not sure if all COD's know what that is though.

That would mortify me a little, but I also have some issues with the non-confidentiality of the sign-in sheet anyway.
