Hi South Beach Family!

I am back for yet ANOTHER run at this. I am going to go buy the book again this weekend and promise not to sell it off thinking I know everything! My fat self is back up to 228 pounds! Yes! I've gained 25 or so just since the wedding in September. It's time for a change.

I am having foot surgery on the 30th. But I want to be as healthy as possible before then and after. I am going through the receipe posts now and printing out stuff I think we'll both eat. Then, food shopping tomorrow.

Sure, I can't exercise like I used to but I can move a bit. And after the surgery, I will at least have physical therapy. I was most successful on South Beach and I need a regimented plan. I liked South Beach a lot and you chickies were ALWAYS helpful.

Sorry to keep leaving and coming back...but at least I come back, right? RIGHT?

:carrot:

DW and I are going to go on a semi-honeymoon (we never had one) in May. Just a few hours south for Memorial day weekend. I'd like to start fitting into my old clothes (including my bathing suit) by then.

Thanks for still being here! :dizzy:

:grouphug: :welcome3: back, beautiful Jenn! So thrilled to see you again! Glad you and DW have a chance to honeymoon...you totally deserve it!

Hope the surgery goes really well...it has to, since it's on a magical day (my birthday!)! :wizard: Yay! Hope you feel much better by then...being healthy for surgery is always a good thing. ;)

Is DW still like my DH--can eat anything and then lose weight? Oy! But I'm sure she's still super-supportive (like my DH), and that helps a lot!

Glad you're back! :goodvibes:

Hello again Jen! I'm back as well, same boat as you, trying to paddle my way back to the beach. Nice to see another familiar face!

Hi Jen! Nice to see you again.
Prodigal? I hope you really enjoyed it as the dictionary defines it as "given to wasteful luxury or extravagance." I hope you had fun!
Now back to business.

No Ruthie -- I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Hence, here I am

:lol3: Jenn...I said to someone today at a luncheon: "There's no such thing as too much of a good thing. Too much of a good thing is wonderful!" and then one of the guys yelled across the room, "Well, then why are you on a diet???" Wise guy! After a while, too much of a good thing isn't so wonderful. ;)

Jenn, since my daughter's wedding last May I had regained 60 lbs.! I have at least 10lbs. back off now. At least you are catching yours at the 25lb. mark. You will be back into those clothes before you know it. Good luck! Welcome back.
