Hi ladies, I'm down to 5 puppies now. Yippee.
My house is still tipsy-turvy with the extra family. Don't see any change in that for about 4 more weeks.
It is cold and rainy with snow forecasted for tonite. Dang it, I'm ready for spring.
Hope everyone has a great day.
02-12-2007, 01:35 PM
Nothing new this morning, except we're planning another trip to Hawaii in 08, cause we didn't see that much being on the cruise. We were restricted because of Leo's Cancer. This time we want to see the more of the islands that we missed. The only other news is that today is my sons birthday[Abe Lincoln baby].
Robin-Thanks:thanks: for getting us started. Hope you have a better week OPing than you last week.
Lily-Thats great, that your living quarters are diminishing with puppies all over the place. Hope you don't get over stress :stress: with the remaining family.
Have a great day
Hugs :) BB

Sorry I was MIA this weekend...go go go.
Eating sucked, but not as bad as last weekend. I made better choices and exhibited far more restraint.
Had to go over to the SIL for dinner for the MIL's birthday, so there was cake and the only low/no carb food item was turkey and frozen veggies with peas and lima beans YUK! So I ate other things.
I like his family, but they always seem to put me in an awkward situation. Everytime I go out there they want haircuts. I emphasized yesterday that I NEVER bring my scizzors out of the salon, trying to stress the fact that I cut enough f*****g hair during the 50 hours I already work, but the MIL kept asking SIL if she had some good scizzors around so I could give her a hair cut.....f**k!!. Then our ceice was looking for sponsorship for her volleyball team, so she was talking to the BIL who owns a huge surveying company about it and he proceeded to say very loudly "WELL IF IT INVOLVES A BANNER WITH ADVERTISING THAN SOMEONE WHO HAS A SMALL NEW BUSINESS SHOULD INVEST TO GET ADVERTISING..." (caps are because he was pretty much yelling for the whole house to hear). I cut him off and said "I can't get THIS frickin family to come get services, why would a bunch of small town people I don't know make their way into the city to get services from us?!" Everyone proceeded to get defensive and make excuses....I wasn't looking for that at all, just trying to make a point and shut him up....he's a loud, obnoxious, arrogant, patronizing jerk. My point...All of this lead me to eat cake.
Back OP today and DH voiced his desire to eat the way I have been...so meal planning will take place later today.
Have a great day and thanks for listening to my rant!
02-12-2007, 03:42 PM
Robin:  How's it going?
Lily: WTG on getting the puppies gone. I'm ready for spring as well! Hope you can hold out the time until you have the house to yourself again!!
BB: Another cruise sounds like fun! Hope you get to see what you want this time. Happy BD to your son :)
Tracy: Next time you go there, wrap your hand up and tell them you're not allowed to move it for 3 days  Maybe that'll work? And sounds like you wouldn't have gotten your point across no matter what you had said. My sympathies go to you
Well, after stupidity this weekend, I'm back OP. I talked to DH and told him that I've GOT to stay OP even during the weekend because this is just not healthy. I'm never going to lose weight at this rate. In fact, all my jeans are too tight, and the scale has creeped up. UGH! So I'm determined THIS TIME I'm going to stay OP, drink my water and exercise. So far I've got half my water in, I've exercised, and I'm OP (so far). I plan on making some SF jello in case I need to snack. ONWARD!!!!!
02-12-2007, 06:03 PM
Thanks ladies for the show of support.
I am down to only 4 female puppies left. We did put an ad in the paper for the 2 extras that we'll have. I had a relay message today that sounded like a real sham. Someone wanting me to ship a puppy to London and they would send me a money order, to which I am supposed to ship the puppy and wait to be reimbursed. That is a crock. I won't send a puppy anywhere. I have to personally meet and feel comfortable with any prospective owner of my pups. This relay person wanted me to go ahead and ship it with only a $50.00 deposit. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. DUH. I replied online to him with quite a message, I'm sure he'll get my point. Says he is "hearing impaired" hence why he was doing a relay message.
Last night I cooked baked chicken and wild rice and was gonna have fresh green beans with it.
I'd be furious too if someone expected me to cut their hair on my time off.
02-12-2007, 08:38 PM
Lily, We sell lots of dogs and have had the very same "hearing impaired" message sent to us. I suppose it works for some or they wouldn't be doing it.
02-12-2007, 11:43 PM
Lily...lol about the beans. I would weigh 50 pounds more if I had to deal with that kind of chaos and DH just ran off. Mine wasn't in the room when this hair cutting business happened, but he was happy to hear that I called them on their crap. He doesn't expect me to put up with it thank goodness. I can't believe your SD puts chocolate in the babies bottle....yikes. I have to say that the mouldy baby clothes are what got me! WOW....that's aweful.
good luck not throwing her in a lake! Just tell DH that he's paying for your fancy hotel room if he doesn't do something, and you're not coming back 'til their gone!
02-13-2007, 09:49 AM
Lily: I can't believe people actually fall for that. Most people need money up front!
Tracy: Glad to hear your DH is supportive of you and doesn't take their side!
Well, stepped on the scale this morning. UGH. Well, I brought it on myself. Only "bad" thing I ate yesterday was a banana. Other than that, I was OP, and almost got all my water in! If I keep this up, I'm hoping for at least a 2 pound loss this week!! But I'll be happy with one
02-13-2007, 10:36 AM
Good Morning Ladies:)
Nothing new to report, just hanging in there.Going to work on my focus list.Thinking positive, eat slowly, drink extra water and exercise every day even if its only 30 mins.
Tracy-You have a right to:tantrum: Thats the hazard of the trade. Don't bring work out to the family anymore.
Lady_Adnerb-I loved :love:my DH taking me back to paradise on earth, but to think all that food out there I don't want to
gain another 10 lbs. Thats the scary :fr: part of the trip.Sorry:sorry: for the scale not saying what you wanted to say HERES TO NEXT WEEK
Lily-Happy:) to know that you saw that it was a scam. So many people fall for them, especially senior citizens. Great having 4 more pups. Hope they all find good homes.
Have to go
Hugs :) BB
02-13-2007, 12:16 PM
02-13-2007, 01:31 PM
Hi ladies, I'm happy to report that after today I'll be down to only 1 pup. The owners are all coming today. I told them "better come get them cause I've got people here wanting to buy them and you wouldn't want me to sell your puppy".
02-13-2007, 05:55 PM
BB: Sounds like a good list! Keep up the great work :)
Carol: How's it going?
Lily: WTG on getting rid of almost all the puppies! And that's a great way to make sure the people come get the puppies. I'd also like to say that what you're selling them for is DIRT CHEAP compared to around here. I paid that much for the lab we got---and that was at a discount (we knew the guy that owned the stud dog. It was his free stud fee---we paid him. lol)!!! So nope-don't ever think about going lower!
Well, today was a good day. Didn't get exercise in (got a monster headache) and the water intake wasn't that good either. But food choices are better and I'm feeling better about myself :) ONWARD!!!
02-14-2007, 01:03 AM
I think I was very reasonable on the price of the puppies. I put a lot of work into them. It has been expensive that is for sure. I hope they all have happy lives with their new owners. My DD cried today when the last ones were picked up. But, we kept Lucy and still have Molly, so 2 dogs is plenty.
We just got back from going and picking up my son's broken jeep. I hope it can be mended. Then, I want him to get rid of it and buy himself a new car.
Brenda, good to hear you are back on program. Sorry about the headache. I wake up with one every morning. I think it is caffeine withdrawal, because after my morning coffee I'm fine.
SD is leaving tomorrow to my MIL's.
02-14-2007, 08:36 AM
Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to all of you.
My company hasn't left yet due to it snowing. Wouldn't you know that even the weather wouldn't co-operate.
02-14-2007, 10:59 AM
:val1:HAPPY VALENTINES DAY LADIES:val1:
Woke up to No Snow, No wind just freezing rain. Leo had to put the garbage out and he used the YAK TRAX and they worked.
Don't have to go out anymore,so we're going to keep warm. We decided to have Our Valentine Dinner at home Going to have a roasting Chicken with veggies and I'm having a 1/2 baked potato that I had in the freezer from a meal that I had several weeks before. Leo & I each got a Small Valentine Day Heart with 4 chocolates in each box. My box is filled with DARK Chocolate and Leo has the milk instead.
Weight is going down again so,I don't want to blow it on going crazy with VD goodies.
Lily-Down to one pup, happy:) you found good homes for them.
Lady_Adnerb-I have to have a list to keep me in control. You can't believe all the index card & post it notes that I have all over my kitchen table. Thanks:thanks: I hope it works,Leo did notice that I'm eating slower than I have been. So One trick is working.
Leenie-Thanks :thanks:for the Valentines Day Greeting Hope you have a wonderful day also.
Have a good one
Hugs :) BB
02-14-2007, 11:05 AM
Lily: Sorry to hear your company isn't gone. Any idea when the weather will cooperate?
Leenie: Happy Valentine's day to you as well
BB: That sounds like a wonderful Valentine's day meal! And I need to remember to eat slower. That sounds like a good way to watch the food intake. Thanks for the idea :)
Hope you all have a nice Valentine's Day. DH bought the girls each a rose and me 3 carnations in a vase with a teddy bear hugging it. He's such a sweetie! Working on getting my water in today. Hoping to get exercise in as well. Need to specifically force myself to do that. At least until I'm in a routine. Refused to step on the scale as I don't want to disappoint myself (and lead to a binge) if it's not gone down. It's only been a few days so I need to be patient
02-14-2007, 12:17 PM
Brenda, the snow has stopped and they are leaving this afternoon. They should have went this morning, but she sent the 2 yr. old to a valentines party that ends at 2PM.
Since switching to calorie counting I am having some major blood sugar issues. About 2 hrs. after a meal, I am having the shakes. This is what used to happen all the time before starting Atkins. I'm going to have to find a way to control my carbs to better stabilize my blood sugar and at the same time get enough fiber to help my stomach. Man this is a never ending circle of crap for me. I simply can't get enough fiber from veggies to keep my intestines working and a lot of fiber is in grains, but that bottoms out my blood sugar. I'm so frustrated right now after sitting here trying to type with my hands shaking uncontrollably. I ate a TBSP of peanut butter and it is starting to help.
02-14-2007, 01:35 PM
Lily, I hate to sound like a broken record but don't forget that Westsoy Unsweetened soy milk has 5gm carb, 9gm portein and 4gm fiber for 1 net carb. I use a little artificial sweetner and usually drink a cup twice a day. It has really helped my constipation problems. Coming off soapbox. :)
02-14-2007, 02:58 PM
Hey guys ok so I need to ask you guys if it is ok if I stay. I can not continue to do atkins per doctors orders. I am having trouble with my kidneys and liver and they just cant handle it. I am not in any way saying that atkins caused this because it is something hereditary. So no one freak out please. I dont want to leave this group though cause I love the support and positive attitudes here. i have been in other groups and they did nothing but bring me down and right now i need a positive link in my life. So i am asking you ladies if i can continue to post here and continue on my weight loss journey with you guys even though atkins is not a option for me?
02-14-2007, 04:06 PM
ilovemike, yes you can definitely stay. I am currently doing calorie counting due to all my intestinal problems and these ladies were very nice and wanted me to stay posting here. I love this Atkins forum , too. I hope you can find what works for you. Do you have any type of certain plan that you are going to try? Please keep us informed of how you are doing. Hugs. Personally I think we can all still support each other no matter what plan we are using. Plus, like me you have done Atkins so you can still help others might be struggling with it.
02-14-2007, 04:52 PM
Carol: I love the scripture you have listed in your signature!!
ILM: Of COURSE you can stay posting with us! We're here anytime for you! And I hope that whatever is happening inside your body straightens out for you!! Feel free to send me a PM any time you need an ear!!
Lily: Are you going to be dancing when your company leaves? I'm sorry to hear about the shakes. Wish I could give you some advice...but I've no clue!
So far so good today. Didn't exercise and didn't get my water---but I'll worry about that later. Right now I'll be happy if I can stay away from the fruit (a big weakness now I've discovered! Never used to eat it....but now it sounds SO good!)! I've GOT to get some jello made so I've got something legal to snack on!!
02-14-2007, 04:59 PM
Hey guys ok so I need to ask you guys if it is ok if I stay. I So i am asking you ladies if i can continue to post here and continue on my weight loss journey with you guys even though atkins is not a option for me?
Of course....personally I think this is the best place for support on 3fc!!
Im not doing atkins anymore either....I just cant. Im doing ww with lower carb choices.
02-14-2007, 06:42 PM
right now i am on a low calorie plan that my doc has put me on and i have already lost 5 lbs., so it is working for me. plus i am working out everyday in the gym so that is helping too. Thanks for letting me stay guys. You inspire me so much.
02-14-2007, 07:07 PM
Brenda my good news is they left and bad news is she said "we'll be back tomorrow". Anyway I'm about to open my big mouth and tell her to go home. I can't take it anymore. I told DH to say something to her and he is working 16 hr. shifts again tonite and tomorrow (we are trying to pay cash for a camper that some friends are selling). Even if he was home, I don't think he'd say anything, lack of cojones or something to that effect. LOL.
ILM, glad to know the calorie counting is working for you. I've lost a couple lbs. too since switching. It took me a while to figure out how many calories I need to maintain. I was only doing 1400 cal's to start with and am having 1600-1700 now and maintaining. I'm still exercising and I stay pretty full. Gotta admit there are times I want the extra large serving of meat, but it doesn't fit in my calorie limit anymore. OH well, I think I could absolutely live on peanut butter sandwiches with LC wheat bread and Sugar Free jelly as long as I have my coffee to go with it.
Tonite I made my kids favorite food in the world for Valentines Day. (chicken and dumplins). I planned all day on how if I had just cheerios this morning and a salad with fat--free drsg. for lunch that I could eat a bowl of their dinner. You know it was delicious. I wouldn't have ever gotten so over-weight if I'd been a lousy cook. LOL. BTW, I am great at cooking meals but a lousy baker. MY home-made pies and cakes and usually cookies are always from a box. LOL.
02-14-2007, 08:23 PM
lol Lily, Im good at both....but I blame my mother. Ive always told her none of us would be overweight is she wasnt such a good cook. Of course both my brother and I are really good cooks too
02-15-2007, 05:12 AM
Robin, when I tried to make the LC muffins and LC biscuits mine were so flat that I used them like pancakes. LOL. But, I had them all to myself cause no one else would eat them. LOL.
We are getting hit with snow again tonite. I'm up late waiting to see if my son can make it home safely from work. He is 21 and I still worry about him. I guess I always will.
I did get to have a heart-to-heart talk with DH about his DD tonite. I cried and said I am totally stressed out. He hugged me and said when she comes back from MIL's that he will send her home. I don't mean to be a bi@@h,, I just can't handle it. She has now been here for 10 days straight with 2 kids most of the time and a third one part of the time. Her dad is rarely home except to sleep due to all the overtime he is working.
I like what one of the maintainers said "company is like buying fresh fish, after 3 days it needs tossed out". I told my DH this too.
02-15-2007, 02:21 PM
Just going to check in. I've got company tomorrow and I know the house is a mess...so I'd like to at least get the remainder of the dishes done and the bathroom clean. Figure if they don't like the "lived in" look they best not stay long. I braved the scale this morning and was shocked to see it was down. Hopefully for official WI I can actually report the loss! I've discovered I'm danged if I do and danged if I don't. Meaning, if I start to lose weight, I figure I can slack off and eat junk...and if I don't lose weight, I figure what the heck and eat junk. Messed up thinking!! I'm FINALLY starting to feel "healthy" again, so I really don't want to mess that up. I figure if I eat a piece of fruit, so be it. At least it's not chips or other junk food. I've got to look at it that way or I'll beat myself up every day. I can't seem to stay away from fruit. I'll take that flaw over "can't stay away from oreo's" which is what I used to say lately. Hope you all are doing well in whatever plan you're on. Don't forget your water :)
02-15-2007, 02:25 PM
lily-lol about the fish. I don't eat left overs, so I guess that explains why I never have company (lack of time would be the other factor). Sorry to hear about the shakes. Have you tried taking a fiber additive to add to a smoothy or something?
I have to agree with Robin. This is the best support forum I've found anywhere. I don't feel I have to be doing atkins to be here, and have raised my carb intake due to convenience. I'm increasing my food intake and how often I eat, and I am not having much success doing this doing strict atkins. I too have avoided the scale, and will continue to do so until I feel my body has adjusted to the food change. Keeping my carbs earlier in the day is a good thing too since you don't need the extra carb energy in the evening.
Robin- when I lost on atkins last time, I was also doing it with weight watchers. I loved my weight watchers meetings and didn't want to quit, and I found staying within my points but eating low carb was the best sucess for me. I lost an average of 4 lbs per week, it drove my wedding dress designer crazy!
ILM- You gotta do what works for you and makes you healthy. Please don't leave.
Have a fabulous day ladies!
02-15-2007, 04:48 PM
Im finding with ww and atkins or low carb, it forces you to pay attention to the fats you are eating. With atkins Im ok for about 3 weeks, then I cant do it anymore. I start to feel strange, and I really cant stomach all the fats anymore. This way is keeping me going.....and I can have ff/sf pudding :T  Works for me.
Dh and I just got back from spending the afternoon with his other dil. I like this one!!!! :D She's clean, doesn't lie, is ambitious and has a life!! My stepson and her just moved to buffalo after being out of the country for a few years....then living other places before that. So its kinda nice for dh to have both his sons here in town....and a dil that we both like!! We had a nice afternoon, and spent alot of time chatting....it was very nice. Then she invited us over for dinner on sunday! This is the son I havent had much contact with at all, so Im still getting used to all this.
Other than that, not much new, Ive been busy learning some new computer programs we have. I even designed a couple postcards :cb: Im kinda pleased with. I still have to learn photo shop....seems to be one of those things I keep putting off. :dunno:
Have a great evening ladies!
02-15-2007, 05:45 PM
Sorry for being so late in posting. Had a lot to do this morning,as I took it easy yesterday.ITS COLD UP HERE TOO!!! BRrrrrrrrrr!!! and our gas fireplace insert is not working ether. Luckily we have the repair man coming in tomorrow.
Nothing new again either,same old.
I just came of off the prevention web site and I took the test for how many calories I need to maintain my weight. The answer for my height[5'1"] & weight was 1947 cal per day and if I want to lose I would have to drop 200 cal for a new total of 1747 cal. I'm not near either of this figures,I'm eating between 1100-1350 Maybe that why I'm not losing. I'm in a STARVATION MODE.
I know Atkins doesn't count calories, but that a lot of calories for me.
lady_adnerb-Hope I will be able to continue the eating slower pattern. I tried once before and totaly messed up. Glad to help.
Lily-Sorry about your high blood sugar, are you sure its from changing your calorie count.??? I Love cooking better than baking they say that cooking is a lot easier than baking as baking is a science. My L/C muffins & biscuits came out flat also. They must of left out an ingredient that they left out of the recipes
ILM-Of course you can stay,I think we all go off off Atkins a little. I'm trying to keep a low carbing and low fats and thats not Atkins. We all need each other to lean on,as its a bumpy road and we can fall off the wagon so easily.
Tracy-That sound like a good idea carbs in the morning no carbs at night. That just might work. Thanks for the idea.
Have to go start dinner
Hugs :) BB
02-16-2007, 01:17 AM
Hi everyone. I slept all day after being up all night last night. I feel re-energized and got my laundry caught up, dishes done and house cleaned up. I'll probably be up most of the night.
We went out to dinner for our late Valentines day treat. I had a small piece of SF cake and it was good. School was out today due to the snow and it is snowing again right now. This time SD and kids are stuck at MIL's due to the weather. Yeah.
My DD told my DH today that I was "mean" because I made her get up and put her dirty dishes in the sink. LOL. I'm sick of cleaning up after this lazy bunch.
BB, I know the shakiness and blood sugar problem is from the higher carb food. I did this all the time before starting Atkins. That is why my Dr. recommended Atkins. I take glucophage twice a day. I do OK until I forget to eat a snack, then my BS drops and I end up in trouble. I am feeling OK today after the problem yesterday. (except I'm "mean", LOL).
Robin, I'm glad you have some family there that you like this time.
Brenda, I ate a lot of fruit while doing Atkins and it didn't stop my weight loss. I just felt like I couldn't give it up and wasn't willing to.
02-16-2007, 10:03 AM
Good Morning Ladies:)
We getting our fireplace insert fixed as we speak. Thank Goodness it getting fixed. It was so cold in our house last night the heat from the boiler wanted jump on.The only rooms that were warm was the down stair bathroom & the computer/gym room.
Well the cold did something right,my bod had to burn a lot of energy keep warm that I lost 1 lb at my Friday W-I. Thought I would lose more ,but I'll take it,after being on a plateau for 3 weeks.
Lily-Glad that you're feeling a lot better.I know what your mean,I had that when I kids lived with us. My DD is still messy, things are all over the place when we come to visit, and she don't have a small house like we do.Our son it just the opposite,Clean & neat, but he learned that being in the Navy. Now I understand, about your blood sugar. Don't have that problem yet, diabetes runs in my family, my son has type I.So my doctor told me to go on Atkins, but I mix and match like I posted before I'm strictly a low carber watching calories though the WW point system[each pt=50 calories.]
Have a great day, will post later
Hugs :) BB
02-16-2007, 12:21 PM
BB, the Army has taught my son to be a neater/cleaner person than he ever was. My kids have been fairly spoiled, not material-wise but in the fact that good old mom did everything around here. LOL, things they are a changing.
My biggest peeve with DD is when I tell her to pick her stuff up and she gives me the "I'll do it in a minute" line. It sure rubbed me wrong yesterday. I know that alot of my annoyance is the fact that SD and kids had been here for 10 days. So my patience has run out.
SD still has my vehicle again. I am getting it back today. No matter what. My son got stopped by the police in her car and he couldn't find her insurance papers. Very lucky this officer knew my DH is a State Trooper and didn't give him a ticket. Her tag was expired. Go figure. My son explained that this was his Step-sisters car and didn't know the tag had expired.
02-17-2007, 12:01 AM
My puppies are now all gone except for Lucy. It was sad to see them go. I had a man come tonite and begged me to let him buy Lucy. I refused, my DD would have been very upset with me. He was friends with one of the other new puppy owners and seen theirs and wanted mine badly. He also begged me to breed Molly again and I'm not really wanting to do that. She has been a good mama dog, but I'm not sure how many times it is safe to breed a mama dog. This man that wanted a pup has a stud male that he paid $2500.00 for. I think I sold my puppies waaaaaaay too cheap. I knew he wanted my Lucy for breeding purposes. He even asked if I'd sell him Molly. Not a chance in life that I would sell Molly. She is my big, spoiled companion.
carolr3639, I know you have breeding dogs. If you read this, How many times do you let each female breed?. Molly has now had 2 litters.
Where is everyone? I keep just talking to myself. LOL. Oh, I got my vehicle back from SD, my son went and picked it up. Yeah!
02-17-2007, 02:36 AM
Hi guys I wanted to check in. Well I went to the gym the other day and weighed in and I am down now to 243. I cant believe how well i am doing. I owe a lot to this lady that runs the gym in the mornings. SHe is keeping me accountable for my exercise everyday. I will be updating my ticker. I am off to bed i will touch base with you guys in the morning. YAY ME!
02-17-2007, 10:18 AM
Great job Sandra!! :cheer:
Lily~ you will actually get some real peace and quiet in your house now...dogs and sd and babies all gone. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Well, we pick up my new treadmill tomorrow :cb: Im so excited about this!! Im even more excited about the fact that dh said it probably wouldnt hurt him to get on it too! I really dont like going all the way out to the mall to walk. Especially this time of year, when everyone is sick! *blah* I go thru alot of purell this time of year.
K, Im off........have a great weekend ladies!
02-17-2007, 10:36 AM
Good Morning Ladies:)
Woke up with a stomach ache. Stop all eating today, except for dry toast applesauce and chamomile tea.
We had seafood gumbo last night, but It didn't effect Leo.So I don't thing that had anything to do with it. I must have caught a bug, from somewhere.
Lily-I used to close my DD room until she cleaned up the mess. She was messy before going away to college, and after she got messier. She was lucky,I'm another one that never looks that in inspiration on the tag. I let my DH take care of that.
ILM-Big congrats :congrat: on losing. You're lucky that you have someone near to keep you accountable with exercising.
Robin-I don't blame you getting a:tread: treadmill. I wouldn't like to go to our mall either in the cold weather to get some walking it. My treadmill is still downstairs in the basement. Can't find anyone to bring it up for me. My DH & I are to weak to carry it upstairs.Have to rely on my bike, stepper and video tapes.
Have a great morning

ILM, WTG on losing the lbs. Congrat's.
Robin, congrat's on getting a treadmill. I use mine almost every day. I love it. The elliptical I got for Christmas, well it is so hard, I just use it if I know I'm fixing to hit the shower and don't mind sweating like a pig. DH had told me that he was going to use the ellliptical too. He tried it once and never got back on it. LOL.
BB, hope you get to feeling better soon.
I had planned to weigh this morning and forgot and have now already eaten and had 2 cups of coffee. Hopefully I will remember to weigh tomorrow. I feel like I'm maintaining.
Robin, it is awesome having the SD and kids go home. I actually had the house all to myself last night. DH had to work and both my kids spent the night with friends. Seeing the pups leave was sad. they were a lot of work though. I still have my Molly and Lucy and 2 kids and 2 cats here. The hamster died recently. I thought it was supposed to have a 2 yr. lifespan and it lived 4 yrs.
Oh, the man that wanted to buy Lucy and Molly last night, he is definitely a breeder. He said that if I'd let Molly breed his stud dog next time that he would buy the whole litter from me. I'm not going to do it. He is probably not near as particular as I am on who gets the puppies.

I agree with you Lily about the guy that wanted to breed Molly. He just seems much too eager!!
Ruthxxx over on the southbeach forum bred her portugese water dog (her baby), she would be able to tell you how many times she bred hers.

Well I am going to go to my friend roxanes today and we are going to walk the mall a few hundred times, so i will be getting my exercise. I am also going to try my 14s on and see if i am any closer to being in them.

BB, I usually just close the door on my kids rooms to ignore their mess. But, we have been having to go through DD's room to show the puppies that are outside that door. So, for now she has had to keep it at least presentable.
I should have stayed off the stupid scale. I went ahead and weighed after eating and with my pajamas on and it was up a lb. I'll try again tomorrow morning. I don't feel like I could possibly have gained. I am being careful. I sure need to exercise today, so I guess I better get after it. DH will be home at 3PM after working 16 hrs. and he'll want to take a nap and that is where my elliptical and treadmill are at.
We now have the money to pay cash for the camper. We plan to pick it up on Thursday. I love buying stuff with cash and not having a payment. I will have to buy the tags for it next week.
Now next time SD shows up announced for weeks at a time, I'll drive my camper to the lake to get some peace and quiet.
ILM, good luck with the 14's. I hope they fit. If not, they will soon the way you are dropping the lbs. Congrat's.

Alright, Im going to rant a bit :(
dil (the I dont like that lives next door) just finished talking to dh on the phone. Seems grandson has a basketball game today, she forgot about (but gs knew all about it because he was telling dh about it on thursday). Dh is already taking gd to her birthday party....dil tries to do some juggling to get a ride for her son to the game. No luck....she then comes to the door with ALL the kids, looking like a pile of crap (literally)....remember she just got out of the hospital this past week. Then says we are going to take the bus....dh says, why dont you just wait? She has the nerve to play the guilt card, with friggin' attitude and walks away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I intensely hate her games! I really do!
......alright dh and I are off to a birthday party :D
Im still at a loss as how to deal with this b**ch I really am. Im never one to mince words, and I'll tell her how I feel.........but she is just toooooooo much!
Im coming back to edit this a bit....as you can obviously see, she managed to get me quite upset. Now....almost 2 hrs after posting this, Im still ticked. But Im more ticked at myself for letting her get to me. Now I have to clear all her crap out of my head, and get on with my day without being b*tchy or cranky. Im trying....and Im also trying very hard to stay away from foods that calm the crankiness. (chocolate)
*great big sigh*

Robin, sorry to hear all the crap you have to put up with the dil. Hugs, I know how rough it is.
I went ahead and walked a mile on my treadmill for just in case I couldn't do it this evening. I don't like to exercise except late evening. But, I did it. Yeah. I wish I could go dancing tonite but DH will probably be too tired. Now that my son just turned 21 we'd probably run into him if we went dancing. I'm sure he'd appreciate having mom and dad there. LOL.

Good Morning Ladies:)
Still have the tummy ache,so I not planning to go to Church or out to Brunch either. My sweet Leo made me a large bowl of chicken soup,so that will be lunch & dinner for the next couple of day. If I'm not fine by Tues I will to give the doctor a call
Not eating today except for chamomile tea & chicken soup that my hubby made me.
Have a great one
Hugs :) BB

BB, hope you feel better soon.
Nothing new here. Company is still gone, but she did call and say they'd be over tonite. Guess DH is gonna have to lay down the law or I will. Neither of us want that to happen , LOL.
My little Lucy pup is so playful. I've had her inside playing fetch with her. She is so cute.
School is out tomorrow for President's day. So DD will be home with me. DH is still trying to figure out what is wrong with DS's jeep. He posted on a Jeep owner's thread for advice. Hope they get it figured out soon. DH really isn't much of a mechanic, but you can't tell him that . LOL. Since the jeep will still run in 2 of the gears , I don't think it could be that the transmission is completely gone out. I had that happen before in a brand new car that I bought and when the transmission went out, it wouldn't move at all.

BB~ I hope your feeling better soon.
Lily~ I dont remember, Im sure you said, but why does she keep coming over to stay overnight with you?
Not alot going on around here....we wont be getting our treadmill today. Dh's other son has the flu, and he was going to help move it. I dont want either of us catching it, so we plan to wait until he's feeling better before we go over and get it.
That was the dinner we were suppose to go to tonight, sort of a planned free day. So Ive got bread rising instead, and trying to figure out what to have for supper before I start back to behaving tomorrow.

Robin, she comes over because her DH is out of town and she is too lazy to take care of her kids. Plus, if she is here I'm the one cleaning up after them, feeding them, usually bathing them and doing every other dang thing imaginable. Oh and changing the dang diapers.
I got outside with DD and walked 2 miles outside and then 1 mile on treadmill.
Well, my DD is having a coniption to get on the computer, so I'll chat some tomorrow.
