Default What is the nutritional value of opah?

It's a fish. It's known as opah or moonfish.

I've spent hours going all over the net and can't find it. I've found some recipes but I want the plain ole fish itself. Fit watch doesn't recognize either of those names. I went into the USDA website and it doesn't recognize it either!

Is the nutritional value on this fish a closely guarded secret or something?

Thanks. I'm so frustrated!

Any other name for it?

Thinking I might have an obscure resource that you haven't checked, I typed it into the search box...It said "Opah? Did you mean Oprah?"

Thank you! Where did you find the nutritional values there? I was directed there and just got descriptions. However, I missed that it was also a sunfish.

Again, thank you so much!

oh well it said it is also called sun fish so I looked up sun fish in my book, its the Nutribase Guide to Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat, but also includes calories.

From Wikipedia: "Opah (also known colloquially as moonfish, sunfish, kingfish, and Jerusalem haddock)"

OK. I thought I was going nuts!

What book do you have? I may have to go to the library and get some to find out what I should have.

Thanks again.
