I've been doing TurboJam for a couple of weeks but I'm looking for some variety. Anybody have any suggestions?

Cheers...:carrot:

I am going back to my oooooold Firm tapes from the '80s. I don't care for the new ones so much. I'm not sure you can still get them though.

I have to say that I don't enjoy anything as much as turbojam. I just switch up which jam I do each day.

For a little twist, I occassionally will play dance dance revolution. It started me on my weightloss journey and can still be a good cardio workout, if I throw myself into it.

i like mixing Turbo w/the DVDs from Minna Lessig--she is really informed (her music stinks but I play other music in the background) and her workouts work. And I do like tae Bo for the challenge even though his directions can be terrible.

I like Karen Voight..."Your Personal Best" with Elle MacPherson-different scenery and goes back and forth between strength training and cardio, "Strong and Smooth Moves" and just got some new DVD's, too...I tried "The Biggest Loser" DVD...I really like it a lot! There is also a couple week by week testimonies by actually "losers" to motivate! I like Crunch videos/DVD's, too...so many from which to choose!

Have a great week! :cp:

Sure! I do

Body Flex
Just My Size Yoga with Megan Garcia
Leslie Sansone's You Can Do Pilates
Yogilates, vol. 1 (there are three that increase in difficulty)

I'm ordering a new Tai Chi (hated the three previous ones), Belly Dancing for Wimps, and Sexy and Fit After 40.

Will report when they arrive and I try them!

I absolutely just LOVE my Biggest Loser dvd's - - -they are awesome - you can mix things up so you get a variety - THE BEST

Next for me comes Billy Blanks - I got his Bootcamp elite and those seem to be pretty good - I have not had them very long so I have not decided if I love them yet - I try to give a video at least a couple of weeks before I develope the love/hate issues... LOL I also purchased the Tae Bo but have not done those yet....

I believe in Winsor Pilates all the way. I have been doing the 20 minute ab, and it is changing my body and the way I feel. I love it!!

I am all about the FIRM tapes. And like Katnip, I love the old school tapes.
You can get them used on ebay, amazon or half.com

I bought 2 of the old Firm tapes from the Firm Direct website. I got the original one and the 4th one they released. My favorite is the second one but they haven't released it for DVD sales. The only thing I miss is they didn't put the whole explanation of muscle at the end of the DVD or as an option which is something that is at the back of the original VHS tapes.

I love Billy Blanks Tae Bo tapes, they are tough but fantastic. I also like Elle McPherson's The Body Workout which is alternating sections of aerobics and strength exercises.

Both are classic, no-nonsense exercise. No fancy footwork to learn and no expensive equipment. I highly recommend both!

I have this great Firm tape, Tough Aerobics mix. I do it when I really want a great cardio workout. Every other segment is with the small step box and light weigths. I always thought the Firm tapes were easy to follow and really get the heart rate up.
