Hey there. So we are going to start from New York, New York and walk to Los Angeles, CA. It is 2462 miles as the crow flies. Each minute of exercise is worth 1 mile. Every time you post subtract your miles from the total of the previous post. And we're off!:carrot:

20 minutes is two days combined LOL. But we have a funeral today for DH's grandfather and I have NOTHING that fits to wear! That was an eye opener...even my fat clothes are too small! Serious things have to change after this weekend. But with two funerals in one weekend I am just in survival mode right now.

I want to walk with you guys too!!! But I will be a few days behind, probably a week in all...........I have to sit it out for a few days, just getting started feeling some better, asthma flare, acute sinusitis, and bronchitis........but walking is my favorite exercise, so this is a good challenge for me...........thanks!!!

Welcome Marion! The more people we have participating the faster we'll get there.

I'm having a bad day and can't get into any exercise. I'm actually supposed to be at work, was there for a little over 4 hours then came home. Then I"m working nights tomorrow and Wednesday. I'll try and do some biking tomorrow. Good job to those that got off the couch and moved!

I am very excited, I was given a recumbant bike today, so its off to exercise land for me.............my plan is to get an hour of biking a day...........wish me luck!!! talk to you soon.

I rode my new bike for an hour today...........not all at once, but I did it!!!! I rode for 22 minutes, then 8 minutes, 10 minutes and then 20 minutes!!!! Yeah!!!! I don't want to add another ticker, I have too many already, so I am just gonna add a little visual, lol For every day that I ride an hour, I will add one flower smiley :flow1: after my name in my signature

Okay I am just a tad confused.......hehe.......I am supposed to be keeping track of my trip from NY to LA or is someone keeping a group total for all of us?? This is my total exercise minutes thus far into the challenge:

2/10 Saturday: 60 Minutes
2/11 Sunday: 30 Minutes
2/12 Monday: 60 Minutes
2/13 Tuesday: 60 minutes
2/14 Wednesday: 60 Minutes

Total minutes 270 minutes

Hi Marion. Everytime you post, take the total from the previous post and subtract your time. I will do your time to date for all your excellent hard work.

Here I am............I had a ton of fun with the girls, we sang, danced and yelled all night long, it was awesome!!! Tonight I rode my bike for 60 minutes..........took yesterday off.........my body (knees and hips) were so sore from the all the dancing the night before, lol. The new total is............

1007-60=947 (the rate we are going we are gonna be there by Friday, where we going next???)

Wow you guys are amazing! Great job sticking with your exercise routines. Hopefully I'll be a bit more regular from now on.

We could walk from Toronto to Daytona Beach or we could head to Europe and walk from Paris to Madrid. Any other suggestions?

Hi guys........sorry I haven't been around, but I wasnt exercising due to some hip pain.............I felt up to it tonight and did my usualy 60 minutes, lets see how I feel in the morning..........anyway the new total is

Okay I rode 6o minutes last night and felt pretty good today, no major pain in my hip, yeah!!!! So tonight I was going to ride 60 again, and then decided to go over and ride 77 minutes to get us to the 600 mark.........weigh in in the morning, wish me luck!!! I should be okay, was on program all week, and exercised for 197 minutes total........

Wow, I think the end is in site! Have been slacking off huge this week. Ds has been on march break and I took the week off work too and we've been doing lots of other stuff. when I get time off work I tend to slack off because I just get out of my usual routine. Tonight though dh went off to hockey and I decided it would be a good idea to jump on my bike. Feel a lot better for it!
