So, yesterday was my one-week mark for being on the SB. I have been SO GOOD, and right down the line with this. Half of Phase I complete! Yay!

But this morning... I got on the scale.... and NOTHING. Zip, zilch, zero. Not a single ounce gone! I was hoping for AT LEAST 2 pounds... and EXPECTED at least ONE... but nope - nothing.

I'm so disappointed. :( When you see NO results, it really does make you wanna give up. :?:

Don't give up! I know there's a thread under SBD FAQs that deals with not losing on SB. You should check it out! Maybe your body is just taking time to adjust?

Some folks lose nothing the first week and then drop pounds the second week. Don't give up! :hug:

What if I don't lose any weight this week either? Should I continue doing Phase I until I DO start losing?

No. If you don't lose this week, maybe this isn't the plan for you but you should lose if you are following the plan.
How about joining the Phase I thread with the others and posting some menus with quantities. Somebody may spot a problem.

I re-read some of the book last night; it said it's perfectly OK to continue on Phase I for another two weeks - and in fact, some people do. But they don't recommend staying on it too long because it's so restrictive, and most people, when their diet is TOO restrictive, will eventually give up all together.

So I think after this week, I'll give it 2 more weeks on Phase I. If I haven't lost at least 5 pounds.... I don't know... I guess I will try something different.
