:coach: Rise N Shine :sunny: Beach Beauties!
It's raining cats and dawgs here :rain: a good day to stay in and study :book2: But first I gotta fill my tank :coffee: with a steaming mug of cawfee and I think cottage cheese with tomato for breaky.
Big news here..... Our bid on 10 acres was accepted! Now we are settling on house plans and :yikes: we decided to be our own General Contractors.
So what's going on under yer umbrella today? :cofdate:

So here we are with a "normal" week and rarin' to go! Actually I'm going to force myself to get more with it today as I feel I've been goofing off! There is still Christmas stuff around and today's the day it disappears upstairs as there are no puppies to distract me. My Girls are a bit clingy this morning so must be feeling neglected.
The only thing on the schedule is to go to the kennel to supervise Oreo's first haircut. He is Lucy's puppy and Hershey's grandpup so The GrandB needs to be there! He's a real doll and I hope to get some pics. Whoops! This belongs in the pet thread but forgive me as my dogs are like my kids.
It's raining right now after a spit of snow overnight so the kitchen floor can stay dirty another day. The furnace cleaning guys come tomorrow and will be traipsing over it so it's not worth it.
What's happening at your house today? Have a coffee and sit and chat.

Good Morning Gals,
It's raining cats & dogs here, too. It makes it hard to get motivated to do anything, but I did drag myself to Curves and feel a lot better for doing it.:)
Schatzi ~ It's good to have you back from vacation and see your colorful posts again! That's great news about your bid being accepted. Now the fun begins!
Ruth ~ I enjoyed your picture of the puppies, they are adorable. I bet they had such a good time being spoiled at your house that they hated to go home.
I just set the oven to the self-clean mode, it was a mess after the holidays, and Ruth reminded me that I must scrub my kitchen floor today, too. My DS and DIL loved the Taco Bake last night after all, so I only have a tiny bit leftover, but that will be my supper this evening since I have to work late, and I'm having roasted red pepper/tomato soup for lunch with a cheese stick or two.
Morning you awesome MODs!! :)
Quick check in as I need to get my stuff together for the day. We start our "downsize" program here as school today. I was 159.4 on the scale here at school. Me likes that. :) I will use Monday's weigh in as my official one.
Gotta jet! All meals planned here today- the goal here is to stick with the plan!!!!

Good morning chicks....although I am not sure what is good about it.... NO SCHOOL TODAY, it is snowing here and then going to change to freezing rain. One of the little school guys I babysit won't stop hollering.... DH keeps needing me...... and everyone wants to eat eat eat..... GRRRRRR. Sorry girls but that felt good. The good news is I lost three pounds so I don't want to eat eat eat.
Schatzi -Congrats on the land. You could build a chick resort for all of us.
Ruth- I love hearing about your dogs. I love the name oreo we almost called our Border collie that. Well I have to dash for now, need to check the fire while it is quite for about 3 seconds.

Wow, Schatzi is back! Sounds like your life is wonderful. I've always wanted acres!!!!
I'm here for just a quick peek. I start my first class this morning at 0745 until 1100.
I got up early enough to do sit ups, push ups and work with weights for about 15 minutes then I plopped my rear here to say hi.
HI:wave: I'll return at chat after class.
Hugs

Good morning Gals.
The rain finally cleared out here and the air is cool and crisp outside and the sky is clear.
Today marks the last day of my 1st week back on P1. And soo far soo good! It feels good to be eating healthy again. Tonight I'm gonna get back into my water aerobics class, I'm really looking forward to that! My oldest DD is getting ready to move to Orlando..I'm both excited and sad. She's going to be working in the Disney World College Program as a lifeguard. So we get to move her down there on Feb. 5th. Well...my DH is here and that means it time for me to go to work...Hope you all have a great day...check back in later!

Good afternoon all!
Just taking my lunch break - eating salad and tuna at my desk. Enjoying a little break, always something I need after a Monday morning of getting back into the routine.
My officemates and I just noticed that the snow is starting to stick, after only two hours. It is actually kind of exciting. I know, I know, in February I will wish for anything but snow, but for now it is a welcome change from all the rain!
Tonight we are expecting a house guest, a friend from high school starts her new job in Erie today and will be alternating between my house and her mom's (45 minutes away) until she and her husband have bought and moved into a house in the area. It should be fun, but certainly different from what I (and DH) am used to.
Happy Monday to all!

Ugh, Monday morning and I NEED motivation!!
Schatzi:You're back! Great news about the acreage! I can't wait to hear about ya'lls adventures in General Contracting! It must be so fun to plan your own home! Welcome back, by the way!
Ruth:Sounds like you've got a fun day at the groomer's ahead of you!
Cottage: My DH loves that Taco Bake as well. I haven't made it in forever, so maybe I'll make it this weekend when he gets back from the Panhandle.
Kiko: The downsize program your school is doing sounds great. I think our office would really benefit from a program like that! Congrats on that scale reading!
Little Chick: Congrats on your 3 lb loss! I hope that everyone (including the weather) calms down for you! Try and give your self a little R&R!
RNMOM: Hope you had a great class this morning! WTG getting up and getting moving!
PHinsUP: Your water aerobics class sounds like a lot of fun! I used to go in the mornings while I was in college, but had to stop when we moved. Great job on week 1!!
sonn2Bfab: Hope you have a great, headache-free day!
ME: Well, things are going okay for me. This new position has presented quite a bit more stress than I'm used to, especially with boss-man out for training for a few days. Everything's falling on my shoulders. Oh well, with more salary comes more responsibility, right? I need to get out and get some exercise and fresh air, so I'm hoping to go home after work, stick some chicken in the oven and ride for a half hour or so. Man, I'm already looking forward to it.
DH and I decided this weekend that we would take a little vacation this summer. We're planning on going to south-eastern New Mexico. Anybody have any suggestions of good places to stay/eat/hike?
Well, there's another email message, gotta go! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Good mornoon!! Just checking in quickly during my lunch. The girls and I got home at 8:30 last night and I ended up going to bed at 9:30 because the oldest wouldn't give up without me. This morning, both of them were in my bed. Rough time...tonight should be better. Combined with my back (better, but still sore) I'm fighting an uphill battle today.
Best get offline before I log too much time. Will actually read the whole post when I get home. Have a great afternoon, everyone.

Good TX mornin' ya'll
I'm a newbie, but really like the idea of a chat with my coffee.
Water. Everywhere I go I take a bottle of water. I'm in a wheelchair, so going to the bathroom is a bit of a struggle right now, but I'm afraid not to drink it!
Food. Veggie quiche for breaky, w/ V8.
Can't cook very well yet, but am making an effort to stick to this.
I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading the chat and such, when you are housebound, it can help keep you sane. Or as sane as I can be.
Everyone stop by for coffee....mmmm that is one thing I can make!

DH and I joined another water aerobic class together and what a work out!!! He nearly drowned and teacher made him put on a life jacket...shocked me that he would do it...he is usually so sure of him self.
Lost first week 5 pounds...stomach going down...Hurray!!!
Going to go get groceries for that Taco Bake i keep reading about and make more jello today..
I love reading all your post. My problem is I forget who said what by the time I read them all...maybe I should take notes? anyway..my best to you all.

This has been such a great week for me - but I have to go out to dinner tonight and I'm a little nervous! So far, I've been cooking at home and getting salads from the deli near me at work. I'm telling myself that I'm going to stick with the good for me stuff, but I'm afraid my friends will all want to go and get sandwiches. I'm going to the movies afterwards, and I think I might have a small diet coke just to keep my cravings at bay when I smell all of their popcorn.

Jenny Look how well you have done so far!!!! no time to give in ! if its a sandwich place- eat just the meat. And hmm I love popcorn but I could psych myself into thinking it smells like punky feet :dizzy: If the place you and your friends eat at have a salad bar pick up some celery, peppers or a salad to go.

Here I am! Maybe I can stay here this time.:)
Hi Sis, Raymond and I joined the senior center this afternoon. We signed up for a ten week class on their machines...it's to improve balance so we don't fall and gone boom!:o
I am so happy for you and your determination. You know it pushes us both when we know the other is doing it too! :carrot:
Jenny, I can relate...tomorrow I have lunch with my friends at a Pizza place but I know I can order a nice salad and be okay...we get good ideas here.
Jet, so glad your back is getting better but don't rush into anything yet.
For all the rest...keep up the good work, it's all worth it!
See you in the morning sis!

Schatzi-congrats on the land. I am sure you will enjoy it.
Lubajo-you are right, there are so many posting right now. It's hard to make mention of eveyone.
ChrisnAmy02- I just noticed you are a Buckeye fan. Go Bucks! congrats on day 1.
I am getting ready to the Buckeyes game. Big day out in AZ. Wish I was there.
Heres a great pic a found of my kids--GO BUCKS!
Hey ladies...
Time to finally post- I am exhausted tonight. Way too tired for a Monday evening, that is for sure! I don't feel like I let down and relax until Megan is in bed. My 5 year is so self sufficient that she can entertain herself with no problem.
Kim I never told you congratulations on the promotion! You certainly deserve it!! :flow2:
Jet Hope that tonight goes more smoothly for you.
On plan all day- now to conquer my worst time, now until I go to bed. Luckily DH is home and I don't usually do my "stupid" eating when he is home. I have logged exactl 12,064 steps on my pedometer with just my job and regular stuff. Not too bad....
Nighty night gals!

Hello, Everyone! I'm a former Beach Bunny and would love to be invited back (again).... got space for me?
For the many of you I don't recognize, my name is Aileen and I live in NC. I have been attempting (and not too well, mind you) to lose weight for what seems like forever. The Beach seems to be the only thing that has worked for me in the past, so I'm back to give it another go. As you can see, I have a loooong way to go.
I'm looking forward to swimmin with da fishes with all of ya!
