Does it Work? - "Laser Therapy"

Anyone have any experience with cool laser therapy as an aid in weight control? My friend used this method to help her stop smoking and she hasn't had a cigarette in three months. She said she had no cravings for smokes after receiving the treatment.

I'm just wondering if it is even somewhat effective to help in weight loss.
