It's the first general weigh in thread of the new year. Everyone jump in and establish a starting baseline to measure our success for the coming year! All are welcome to join, just add your post whenever your official weigh in day rolls around.

Me: 183.5, up half a pound from last week. Well, I'm a bit disapointed. But this was the last of the short weeks, the last of the holidays. And something good came out of this; I've made a resolution to do my lifting sets ten times a week. I've been having a hard time working them into my routine, I'm hoping that just keeping track of the actual numbers will be something I can keep up with.

No real loss over the holidays but no gain either. I am starting over a new year. I am weighing in at 156. I have 11 lbs to lose.

245. I had lost 9 pounds previous to the holidays, but every single one of them came back:o :( so im gonna be workin my buns off and try and get down 2 or 3 pounds by next friday

We had Christmas with some relatives last night and my Mom made a special dinner. Of course I overate. ;)

Down 1 lb. from last week. Starting the new year at 148 (my pre-holiday weight, Yea! :carrot: ). Now I can resume my weight loss journey. :tread:

I hit 150 this morning! Can't wait to get into the 140's and beyond. Should be any day now!

I'm new too (although I've been kinda lurking the last few days, scoping things out).
Stepped on the scale this morning at 5am and it read 172.5 :mad: I am SO disappointed with myself. I should be somewhere around 145. I want to be at the goal weight for August 1st (I'm a MOH) and somewhere around 155 for late March (I'm turning 30 :o ).

Starting the new year a week late (the 4th was my birthday, so I refused to start until after that) at 215. My birthday gift for myself today is heading to the local "Shapes" club and possibly getting a membership.

I'm interested to see if I can bring myself down to a normal weight / size by my 35th birthday (Jan 4, 2008). I'm really hoping so.

alinnell, it could be water weight. Don't fret! :)

Down 4.5 lbs. I think it's mostly water weight, but yay anyway...:D

I lost 1.5 lbs this week.. and I don't know how. I've been so depressed and miserable this week, too. I guess this is one thing to be very happy about.

192.2, down .4 from last Saturday!

Down 1 lb on Saturday to 180, almost back to pre-holiday weight. Sunday started TOM, so it may be even lower by the coming weekend :carrot:
