LA Weight Loss - Photo Challenge

I challenge EVERYONE to post a new photo of themselves--preferably taken within the past month--the newer the better--we all want to "see" our friends!

Your avatar is great--it's whatever anyone wants to post. I just love seeing everyone--face or body.

Finally figured out how to add an avatar ;)
This was taken this Oct when we were on our Mexican Rivera cruise.

I don't think I've changed much since the "angry" picture in my avatar was taken in December... I need to take another, however, that doesn't look like I'm about to go postal!! :lol:

Dan - hopefully you've cheered up since then! LOL! You look like you'd just eaten too much bran!

I should talk - I look like a transvestite on my passport photo.

I will NOT be posting the passport photo, (well, maybe as a 'before') but I will try to post a X-mas photo when I get home.

My avatar is actually a year or so old...I'll see if I can get newer ones done tonight. :)

I love that everyone is working at this! I will try to get a new one tomorrow since I have to actually get "dressed" and go to work!

Dan--we want to see the happier you--lol. And the wife would be great, too.

Awwwwwww......Pearl can you add Digger to your weight loss photos so I can get my Digger dose from time to time!? I need to make an appointment at Glamour Shots so I have a decent picture to post...sorry LeaAnn; this may take a while!

I am doing good- was .4lbs from goal before Christmas but am back up to 176. When I told my husband that I was .4 from goal he told me to go right back to the COD and take my clothes off and weigh again. :D I had already had my smoothie so I couldn't but I was laughing at what they thought at his work about him telling me to go back and take my clothes off.
On the health side I am on a drug- free holiday. I am having a break from chemo and will be monitored every month. If there are dramatic changes then we will assess going back on some type of chemo. But I am feeling good- walking again and the fatigue seems better now.
How are you doing?

This picture was taken at my DH's Great Aunt's 90th birthday party on December 14th. I hope that when I am 90 I can look as young as she does. It is inspiring to see everyones latest pictures

Great idea, Lea Ann! I got a new perm last weekend - everyone is begging for pictures, so I suppose I'll take some today. Ugh.... still can't get over the "don't take the fat-girl pictures" syndrome. Kinda like still going to the plus size section of the stores, even though I know better now. Some habits die harder than others!

Okay - I cropped myself out of a group shot....I have a droopy right eye and I just noticed it is in all my pictures. My left eye is a victim of amblyopia (lazy eye as a kid) and that eye is open more than my good eye!

Thanks, Tina and Joni. I hate to brag (ok, I love to brag, but don't admit it very often;) ) but look at my profile - my before and during pictures are a real shocker. It's really scary to see them side by side, but a recommended eye-opener for anyone new to the program, wondering if it works!

If you get frustrated or unmotivated go find a picture of yourself before LAWL and then you'll get the personal kick in the pants you need.. and you have all of us too!

I HATE photos of myself, so this is a HUGE step for me.
I suggest we start a fund to get Kim a haircut so we can see her face..lol (as cute as the pupster is, we wanna see YOU!)

What a great idea on pictures. I updated my avatar, however, this is definately a before picture taken in March 2006 before I started LAWL in June 2006. Hopefully, the almost 30 lbs lost will help in my picture. I will try to take a current one next chance I get and I will update the picture. Thanks for the great idea. I like putting faces to names.
