Hey . . . Monet . . . and/or . . . RuthXXX . . . why did you close the information thread . . . Personally, I think there are other sites that could be added to the list.
BTW . . . Insulin was isolated by Banting and Best in Toronto. Since it is a natural hormone, you can't exactly say it was invented . . . and did you know Canadians are continuing to blaze trails in Diabetes research by engineering the first successful transplants of 'Islets of Langerhaans' (the place in the pancreas where insulin is produced) for Type I diabetics.
Another modest Canadian, here . . . :o

Meowee, I totally agree there are lots of other useful sites to add. I did not complete what I was doing this morning when my internet went down and forgot to complete when it came back up. :o I will go finish it up now... I had considered keeping it closed, and having people PM me links to add, but I will see how it goes open. If we get a lot of spammers, or folks who are not following the 3FC link policy, I will go with the closed thread and PMs for additions.
Thank you to ANOTHER great modest Canadian! :)

Hi Annie . . .
Sorry, but I have to admit that this is something I do not know how to do. Believe me, after a while it just becomes second nature but at the beginning I used to literally keep a notepad and jot down the path to the thread I was reading. :o
I do know there is a way to have a "subscription list" through the User CP section . . . but that is where my knowledge ends . . . hopefully, my co-moderator, Monet will take pity on us and then we will both know. :D
BTW, there is a section for help with stuff like this and it lives near the end of the forum listing and is called . . . Announcements and Forum Help.
