Hi, I'm new to this site. I really enjoy reading all these threads. Everyone seems real friendly. I've been on WW many times. I'm doing it on my own now. What is WW at Home. I'm down about 7 pounds. I would like to be successful at this weight loss challenge just one time. I'm tired of failing every time I go on the program again. I've challenged myself to lose another 16 to 20 pounds by Christmas. That will be my Christmas gift to myself.

Just wanted to reply since I saw nobody else has yet and give you a little information about ww at home. It is for people that don't have time for meetings or don't desire a meeting type atmosphere. It is the whole ww program sent to you in one kit by mail. Everything is sent at one time. The cost is 107.90 and includes everything as if you were joining and attending weekly meetings for 12 weeks plus alot of little extras. You get an organizer to carry your materials in, supermarket and dining out books that give you all the point value of different foods, point and activity slides to calculate your points, a point calculator that allows you to track your weightloss, water intake, exercise, and can calculate food with calories, fat and fiber and give you point value. You get a free issue of ww magazine, a sample box of ww bars, journals, all 12 week little booklets, recipe cards, smartone coupons and last but not least, hope I haven't forgotten anything, you get 26 weeks of toll free telephone support from ww staff to answer any questions you have and they also will record and track your weightloss efforts along with you. The number you can call to get more information on the ww at home program is 1-800-710-HOME and they will answer all your questions and also let you know if you can receive it in your area. I hope this has helped you some. I have tried the ww at home program and have not had the diligence to do well on my own and am thinking of joining actually this week. The at home kit is wonderful and provides you with everything you could possibly need for ww but the lack of willpower and group support and kind of accountability hasn't been there personally for me. That is my own doing and if my frame of mind was right in the DIET sense I may very well have succeeded fine with just the at home ww but I think right now at least, I need more structure of attending meetings. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Thanks Redapple,
It sounds like they give you everything. I like the meetings. It's to hard in the summer to get to them. Good Luck to you also.
