This is Bob sleeping with my sock. Yes, my cats like dirty clothes...especially socks that have been to my grandpa's house. We think it might be something in the dirt there - they get obsessed with shoes and socks when we come back.

Bob and his biological brother when they were kittens. Jay (the other one) went to another home, because we couldn't keep 3 cats in one apartment.

My childhood dog - I've had him since I was 12. He lives at my parents house, but I visit him all the time. He's the sweetest, best dog in the world. And that is completely unbiased :-)

Awwww... everyone pet's are so cute!
Bob looks like my cat Vexx - I will try to post a pic when I get home tonight.
My DH would love Mikko, he is a big fan of corgis and he had one when he was a kid. :)

OMG! I LOVE corgis!! I always wanted one!
I had golden retrievers growing up and when I was 17, my parents fell in love with Australian Sheperds. So, I have 2 Aussies at my parents house...Frankie and Rudy. Our golden retriever, Jesse, the best dog in the world, just passed away in November. He was 15 and will be greatly missed!
I really miss having a dog, but my landlord only allows cats. I love my babies though...they're mommas kitties!! And they all have personalites all their own!

Bob looks a lot like Simon, too.
Australian Shepards are the best. PJ, the dog I posted, is an aussie, and they are SOOOO smart and adorable. Smart from the time they are born...we got him when we went to a breeder - my sister and mom and I all wanted a dog, but my dad was NOT sold on the idea. We go into the barn where the puppies are, and my dad sat down. PJ, being the brilliant dog he is, trotted right over to my dad and put his head on his lap...thus ensuring he got brought home. Smart puppy!

I don't really have any pets, other then my fat fish! (a 30 gallon fish tank) but my dad has a HUGE black boxer/lab his name is Binker (from a poem by the guy who wrote winnie the pooh) and at my Mom house they have a yellow lab named Chadoe (I grew up with him). I will see if I can find pictures of them but I wanted to share these.
Just two weeks ago my little sister (she lives with my mom and her dad) got a free bunny from a garage sale, his name is Fluffy and he likes to play ball!
http://www.saltypickles.com/images/blog/bunny.jpg
http://www.saltypickles.com/images/blog/bunny2.jpg
and I get to babysit him this weekend... all weekend! yipee!!
EDIT-
here is my fish tank: http://courtnie.learnnewmedia.ca/online/images/101.jpg that is a very old pic (coule years), the fish are now much bigger and some where given away and I got new ones. I really need to take a new picture. But everytime I clean it (best time to take a picture) the fish dig big holes in the gravel and make it look ugly again, haha.
The orange fish with the black on is Spike, he is about twice the size now. The orange one below him is Spritz and unfortunally he died last fall. The stripped ones were mean and ate the fins off other fish so they found themself a new home. Above the rock thingy there is a gray fish, I have two of those and still have them. They are now much larger and their names are Nitro and Hover (cuz he eats till it looks like he swollen a marble). and then I have more you that I have got since then and some you can't see.
Here is my yellow lab chadoe:

I grew up with five cats and a dog. My fiance and I currently have two cats. As soon as we can get a house I am getting a dog (hopefully a Bichon Frise) and more cats if we have room.
This is Caira (AKA "little mosquito") because she has this funny drawn out meow she does sometimes that kind of sounds like a really loud mosquito.

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h110/irvingcohen/cat%20pics/cairabyXmastree.jpg
This is Rashnu (AKA "tubbies") because he's a little bit chubby. He HAS to have plenty of food in the bowl at all times or he cries and cries. If you can see the bottom of the bowl, there is not enough food. We can't put him on a diet though because Caira will only eat a little bit at a time.

My little guy, Monty. He was horrified of that toy for like 3 weeks. It had a string that you could pull and it would vibrate around. He would always run and hide from it.

Well, this isn't my cat (obviously), but my Old English Sheepdog last spring when he was still a baby. In this picture he weighed about 25 pounds and he's now 90 and has had two haircuts (I mean, shavings :fr: ). I have pictures of him like that, too, but they're on my Mac and I have yet to be able to post pictures on the forum from a Mac. I cant' get them small enough. :(

:lol3: and :fr: at the same time in response to that PUPPY!! Those EYES!! He looks like he's going to sprout fangs any second and ATTACK!!! What a cutie...he's so cute he looks like a stuffed animal!! Oh...and the kitty is beautiful!! All cats are snooty...it's their job to put us in our rightful place in society, lest we think humans are the superior species.
I heard a good comparison to cats and dogs once. The difference between Cats and Dogs is that Dogs go through life assuming that they are funny looking humans, whereas Cats go through life thinking humans are funny looking Cats!! :lol3: Don't know if this holds true for the rest of you, but it's definitely true in MY house. I'll have to take a picture of my dog and cat in the living room, Junior sitting on the loveseat like he's watching TV with us, sitting upright, doing his best to sit just like us...Kitty, on the other hand, laying around in the sunbeams on his back or on the arm of the couch, trying to conform to the shape of it, looking at all of us as if to say, would you all please leave, this is MY house, you know...

:lol3::lol3: I KNOW!! those eyes are NOT photo shopped either haha those are having the red eye reduction off and the flash working off those black eyes! She has to be groomed soon but I enjoy her looking like a stuffed toy so much that I have been putting it off...Have to do it soon though because it takes about 30-45 minutes of brushing and combing a day to keep it from getting knotted and stuff.

I have four cats, three of them are brothers. The only picture I have on my computer at the moment is one of my three sons and their other brother and sister. Someone else took the other two, but I have the three toward the front of this picture (http://www.3fatchicks.com/member-gallery/showphoto.php?photo=732&cat=500).
Starting from the left that's Magellan, Brodie, and Stoli at the end. They are SOOOO much bigger than that now, they just turned a year old in April and they are all about twice as big as my tortie cat daughter. I'll try to load some pictures of them now, plus the tortie.

We had a little boy picked out and we were going to call him Oscar. At this time the lady only had two boys left. And then she called and told us another women had backed out and now there was a girl left! After some hard thinking and talking to her I picked the girl! She told me that the puppy likes to lay on its back and have its tummy rubbed and that is a sign of a good dog! And it won't pee on my stuff! hehe I can't wait to get her!

Courtney: My daughter is very good at picking out names and she just came up with Oreo. I was thinking unoriginal names like Poopsie...but I like Oreo!! She looks just like one!! My cat was named Alice...before we found out she was a he...then he became Peter Pan and then Tinkerbell and then a million other names and he ended up just being named Kitty.
Oreo is our vote!
But on the ohter hand...I like Sondra...from the movie Milo and Otis...she was Otis's girlfriend. "Sondra...the French pronounciation..." I love that movie.

I thought Oreo too, the problem with Oreo... that her's mom's name! haha Also my boyfriend knows some girl and her nickname is Oreo and he HATES her and said no to that name right of the bat.
I also thought Flower, like the skunk from Bambi but he said no to that too!
Some other names, are Checkers, Ocra, Basil, Skittles, Apples, Soda, and so many more. Everyone keeps throwing out names, I need to keep a better list!

These are pictures of my Old English Sheepdog, Junior. Two are of him last summer with my 4-year-old son, Kyle...so give a perspective on how big his head is! :fr: And then you'll see him at the groomers after having been shaved and then a few months later looking in the back porch window with his fur grown in about an inch with snow on his nose (it was his first time in the snow). He's at the groomers as we speak, getting shaved down to velour length again. I like him like that...much less maintenance!! :D

Thanks, Fru...I like the vacant expression on Junior in the third picture over. And I've always thought my son looks a lot like Ron Weasley with blonde hair in some pictures...like the ones below. I can't wait for Juniors' fur to grow in to the length where he's looking in the window...that's the best length for him...a little fluff without the gross mats...and peculiar odor :p He is a cute dog, though. He really is a big, gentle giant.

Anyway, here is Mac's dogster page. We don't have one for maggie yet. Although my mom is demanding equal treatment of her grandchildren so I better get that started!!

not the best picture, as it was taken with a cheapie camera phone...
but it's prolly my favorite picture of her. *l*
and she's seriously pudgy...
the vet had to do liposuction on her, before he could operate to remove a stone from her bladder, over the summer. there was too much fat in the way. my whole family got a big laugh out of that, as most of us had never heard of pets getting Lipo. :dizzy:
she's gained it all back, though... :^: she's at least an 18-pounder.
i have another cat, named Kismet. she's a bit more petite (I think Karma bullies her away from the foodbowl when i'm not looking :p). *lol* but she's camera shy, so it'll be a while before i can post anything of her... she's the same coloring, but different build, and not from the same litter.

Geo on the other hand is quite the enigma, and we even got to see both of her parents (frustrating story)

I don't quite see the Rottie from the pic, but I can see the Mastiff around his eyes... and he's definitely got a lot of ACD in him!

I believe his momma was a PB ACD and his daddy was a rottie (or possibly Dobie x mastiff.)
He's got the sideways-ish kind of run of an ACD, the suckiness of a mastiff, and definitely like to "herd" the kids...if they're not together, he'll run from one to the other, it looks like he's counting them, or keeping track somehow.
I do loves my babies! :)

Aren't ACDs fun?? I just love all of Jaz's little quirks. Does he like Frisbee? Jaz is getting pretty good at it.
Does he sit with one leg cocked out to the side? That seems to be a common ACD trait.
Jaz also like to "herd" those big plastic balls you can get at Wal-Mart. They're her yearly treat. lol She usually gets one or two per year, and they're usually busted in about 5 minutes. But man, does she love it. We've been meaning to get her one of those big horse balls (wait, that sounds gross... you know what I mean though! LOL) but just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe for x-mas this year. :D
Ok, here are some pics of Jaz playing with her favorite rubber ball. And also one of her resting during a purple ball herding workout. :D

You're two Great Danes are beautiful, what are their names. I feel like a cousin to your dogs, I'm a full blooded Dane myself. I have a zillion relatives in Denmark. I love the markings on the second picture you posted, how much do they weigh. Do they eat you out of house and home? I tried posting a pic of my dog on the thread just above this one but it didn't work.
I'm going to try again, my English Setter is black and white too! He's big for a setter, very tall and long. He has the best nose in our county and a fantastic bird dog.

Jennifer..........cute picture, I laughed when I saw the expression on "Baby's" face. I can see she doesn't like them! My cat hated our female English Setter and hissed and swiped at her every chance she got. We don't have the dog anymore, she had to be put down because she bit people. We got a new English Setter puppy and the cat liked him right away. Go Figure!

Last but not least, Jasper. He is both the largest ,the sweetest, and the laziest housecat known to man. He almost never opens both of his eyes at the same time. Recently, I found him doing one of his famous Jasper-stretches across the living room floor. I measured him from the tip of his front paws to the tip of his back paws. He was 38 inches long.
