Hi I'm new to this and weight watchers. I'm looking for a recipe that I hope to decribe. You use pineapples and a sponge cake mix. I herd of it from a weight watcher's meeting but they didn't say how to make it. I didn't get a chance to ask. I hope someone knows what I'm taking about.
thx.

You take a box of angel food cake mix and a can of crushed pineapple. Mix them together, don't add anything else, pour them in a stick proof pan or maybe spray a pan with Pam. Cook at 350 for about 30 minutes. the top will be brown. Dust with 10xx sugar.

It's very good. I don't remember how many points though. You might find it on the WW web site.

Hi,

Use a 20 oz can of crushed pineapple. It makes 12 servings at 3 points each. You can also make it with a can of pie filling - strawberry, cherry, blueberry, etc. - reduced calorie if you can find it. Also 3 points each if you use the reduced calorie pie filling. I make mine in a 9 x 12 pan.

So you don't add water or any of the other things the angel food cake mix might call for ? You just use the juice and syrup from the crushed pineapple ?

That is correct.

1 (Easy Step) Angel Food Cake Mix
1 20 oz can crushed pineapple in its own juice. You use juice and all.

Thats all, nothing else, NO WATER. Put in bowl and mix all together. I bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan.

12 servings each 3 pts.
