Hey all! I am short on time this morning. I gained 1 pound  , but I know how, I know why. I feel bad I am subtracting from the group loss instead of adding to it.
I have my tread mill ready, my water ready, my shoes ready, my music ready, my weights are ready....I'm ready :tread: :strong: . As soon as these early birds (they usually sleep) take a rest I'm hitting that machine!!!! I'm committed to seeing a loss this week!
Hey there. I am not even weighing in this morning. I feel bloated and yucky. I refuse to put myself through the bad feelings of seeing that I have gained. I don't mind owning the number when I've not done well but I know that some of it is liable to be TOM and seeing a gain of 5 lbs even though I know it is water will not make me a happy camper. I worked nights and so feel even worse because of that. I'm just killing some time til I can take my son to daycare and can hit the sack. I think I"m going to have to take something to help me to sleep because I drank a little too much coffee last night. I had a good night up until the last 10 minutes when one of my patients' IV went crappy and he was sweating, his blood pressure dropped and he was having hallucinations. Why in the last 10 minutes does this all happen???? I felt bad that I left the dayshift nurse with looking after a potential mess but I think he was alright, just had a bit too much pain medication. anyway I'm babbling here, I'm starting to feel tired and worn out. Have a good day everyone, see you later.

Good morning!
Yesterday was a horrendous day! But it got better.
Jen-I'm sure things worked out fine with yor patient. That had to be a stressful way to end the day! But sound like you handled it well. Nurses amaze me, not a profession I could handle. So I am amazed by people who can! Plus they do it all with poise, calm and kindness!
This morning I got up and did the treadmill. I didn't have time to do my weights.
I hope everyone else had a great first full day of spring, yesterday! Just think spring is offcially here, it can only get better! We'll still see snow here for another few weeks, but it's not usually enough to shovel. Now if we could just skip the mud!! I can deal with the little bits of snow, but this mud is ridiculous. If DH doesn't buy that gravel he promised me for the last 4 years I'll freak out LOL!
Have a great day all!

Good Morning All
Misty -its great to here that you got your workout in. I missed it yestersay but I got up and hit the gym this morning. I have a trip to california planned pretty soon and I despirately need to lose some weight before then.
And talk about spring, I swear when I graduate from college I am moving to much warmer climates. When I got up this morning it was 30 degrees and my front lawn was covered in FROST. I hate cleveland weather.
By the way how is everyone doing with the food. Im doing ok. Had fruit for breakfast and I brought a italian wrap for lunch.
Hi all. I decided to be brave and got on the scale this afternoon and it was okay. I won't use it as an official weigh in, I'll just wait until next Monday now but I feel better knowing that I might be back on the way down the scale.
misty - yes actually my pt was okay, I think he is just naturally a bit confused because of his illness. congrats on getting in some exercise. I haven't been this week. I worked nights Sun and last night and I could have gone to the gym after I woke up this afternoon but I just didn't have the energy. I'm so not used to these nights yet. I was so grumpy this morning it wasn't funny. I slept solidly for about 5-6 hours almost in a coma I think.
Well have a good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

Hi Everybody!
I haven't been doing bootcamp perfectly--however I am working out for 1 hour six days a week--which is alot more then I have done in awhile!
Thank you for all your inspiration to keep going!

Hi all!
Miss McCoy- I was doing really well with food early on. But all those fresh fruits and veggies broke my budget. I am trying to fill up on frozen ones but since I don't really have any recipes and stuff it's been ahrd. I'm kind of eating whatever. Early on I had meals and snacks planned and I felt very full b/c I was eating alot of fresh greens and stuff. Now I feel very unsatisfied. B/c nothing is planned i find myself eating unconsiously quite often. But it sounds like you are doing fairly well! That wrap sounds good!
Jen- are you on nights all the time now or just for a while? I think it would be hard to go back and forth rather than just always do nights. I don't blame you one bit for waiting to weigh in. That's way better than weighing in and getting off track b/c you see a bad number.
Sue- WELCOME!!!! You are a better woman than I! Yesterday was the first time I worked out in a couple weeks! That's really bad! SOunds like you are doing great!!!
I am feeling very frustrated with my lack of motivation. If I could just get it together I know this works. I was doing so well. The baby slept all night last night so I got some sleep, so maybe he'll do it more often and I'll have more energy! Plus with nicer weather comes getting out and walking with my neighbor. We do about two miles pushing strollers and I'll have a double one this year with about 40 pounds of kiddos to push so that will be a nice work out! It's very hilly here too so that adds a bit of an upgrade to it. I just need to find that groove I had 4 and 5 weeks ago.
Well havea good day all!

That pop corn is a killer isn't it?
Pop corn is actually considered a whole grain so the pop corn itself is okay it's what you put on it that is no good. I make it at home and put a couple of tsps of butter on it. If you put it in a huge bowl and mix it up well you don't really need too much butter.
Misty - when I was on maternity leave I had such visions of losing tons of weight and achieving a goal weight I hadn't been at in years. The trouble was that I had zilch energy for months because of my son not sleeping through the night and having to look after him 24/7. It is a lot of work and doesn't leave you much time or energy to do much else. We went for long walks but my diet was still garbage so I didn't lose weight, rather I ended up gaining over time. So I know where you are coming from especially as you have other kids to look after during the day as well. I don't know how you do it really. I'm going to be working sort of a combination of afternoons and nights. I'd rather work one or the other but this is the only way I can make up more hours. It is just a matter of getting used to them again and I haven't worked 2 nights in a row in years. I don't know how to help you with the frozen veggies, I usually just take mine plain with a tiny dab of butter, salt and pepper but you could experiment with different spices and herbs.
I have to wait for the plumber this morning and hope he's not too long, we have a drain in the basement that is backing up (gross) so we haven't been able to use hardly any water except for flushing the toilet and so far there is enough seeping through the pipes that it isn't all over the floor. I found out it was backing up while doing laundry on Sunday and the water from the washer ended up on the basement floor but luckily nothing was damaged. I was too wiped these past 2 days to worry about getting a plumber in but since this sort of thing doesn't get better with time I'd better get him in!! After he's been and gone I want to get to the gym and then I have a bunch of errands to run before I go to work this afternoon so it's going to be a busy day.
Have a good one everybody, keep your hands out of the cookie jar! :D

ok, I am reading through these posts and i hear a lot of.. "I have no energy"
I will make a suggestion- and this is purely My opinion- Take a good solid mutilple vitamin and then take the B vitamins! Myself- I take Vita Logic Daily Extra muti (1 a day) and Vita Logic's Stressed out (contains B1, B2, B6, B12 and other things- 1/day) I personally think this is absolutely the best thing i have taken yet to increase my mental stability and energy! I can tell i am soooo groogy in the morning around 9 and if i take this with my breakfast I am no longer tired. Hope you can benifit from this! good luck!
Angel, I appreciate your suggestion and already do take a multivitamin and a B complex supplement. I'm tired because I worked 2 12 hour night shifts and got about 9 hours of sleep over 48 hours. As there is no such thing as catching up on sleep around my house it takes awhile for my body to start recuperating from this kind of punishment.

Perhaps I should consider vitamins. I don't take any right now.
Yesterday was so bad!! But I'm doing better today. I have to babysit for my mom's four tomarrow, so it will be a LONG day! I ahev some Easte ractivities planned, so hopefully it goes well.
How is everyone planning on handling Easter dinner? It will be atough one for me. We go to my inlaws, I don't eat ham (can't stand the stuff) so I usually eat mashed potatoes, rolls, stuffing and squash. So now I'm down to squash.
Well got to run, have a good day!
