A Servant's Prayer

Jesus, MY Jesus... How marvelous your ways...
Far more splendid than my mind can envision. What an
honor to be chosen by you. A lowly child I am, but empowered
by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the great hope to which you have
called me. I give myself totally to you, Lord. Take my imperfect
heart and make it perfect. Peel away the hardness. Close the doors
I have opened to the temptations of this world. Gently remove the
roots of painful memories, sins, doubts and fears. Discard anything
that separates me from you. Lord, fill the emptiness with the light of
your love that I might be a beacon calling the lost back to you.

To love as you love...
To serve as you serve...
To heal as you heal...
To forgive as you forgive...
always mindful of my nothingness while doing
great and marvelous things in you name and for
you glory. This I pray, Jesus, in YOUR name.
Amen

Good Morning Gang

*WELCOME* to our thread Mnewton! :flow1: You will enjoy it here I think... forgive us if we don't get back to you right away, we all live such busy lives. We will post just as soon as we are able to :D Do come back and tell us a bit more about yourself ;) Are you Single, Married, Have a family, hobbies? :)

Awwwwweeee, :sorry: I will keep your 12 week old niece in my prayers!!! What is her first name?

Hi Sue, Sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner... that picture of you and your DN is really nice! It sure looks like you guys have the best time on your trips :D :cp: I do hope that everything works out for your DN just as she plans, she sounds so FULL of life :sunny:

:cp: Congrats on another pound gone :cp:
I am so happy for you!
Keep up the great job!!!

What did you get at the $-Store? I enjoy shopping there too! Getting things for your kids ;) ?

Hey there Gary, What an adorable puppy!!! I loved that picture of you and Jack together!!! He really has nice markings... Australian shepherd?... new to me... I really like his coloring, it's very different. I bet that YOU ;) Reba and Rylee will miss him when he has to leave... but now that they have his scent in their memories he can visit them and they will have a great visit :)

You still getting RAIN??!!! We had us a rain storm yesterday... high winds, but great temps! We actually went up to 57* yesterday and I was able to open my kitchen window and enjoy the breeze... well... till the bottom dropped out at around 6:30pm. It went from 57* to 18* in no time flat! And this morning we have Black Ice on the roads, bridges and overpasses causing many accidents! We even got a dusting of snow over night... not much though (thank goodness). It's sunny right now, but very cold still.

If that's the case Gary... then I am with you! Maybe that's why I am getting such cold weather... I don't pass those e-mails on either! In fact, I am getting repeat ones now... when do they stop! :dizzy:

I just saw an ad for the movie *Robotz* with Robin Williams... I cannot wait to go see it! It looks funny and I can use a good laugh!

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your DF, Wade! I will keep his family and friends in my prayers... how very sad!!! I am so sorry :sorry: It just breaks my heart each time I hear that we have lost another... ...

So... you are going to Washington again... we'll miss you! Hope that you get everything done that you plan to :)

Yes Michele, Thank-you so much for the prayers! They are working because each day I am feeling a bit better - still not up to par - but better each day :sunny:

Yes, the Program is pretty strict, especially in the beginning, then after the 3 days of real strict... it's very much like the 3rd Phase in the South Beach Diet... the only difference being that I buy ORGANIC foods now (& take his vitamins). It's not that bad after you made the initial changes. The expense is in the beginning and then it's not so bad. And the foods DO taste differently! I cannot believe it! There is more flavor in the Free-Range meats (not to mention, they are so tender) and in the Organic veggies :T We are blessed here in Ohio to have a huge grocery store called *The Mustard Seed* that carries all Natural & Organic Foods... I cannot believe how many people we know that shop there! Why didn't they tell us?! :o ;) Because they have such a large variety there the cost aren't really all that much higher... and when you think of hospital cost (!) it's all well worth it for me. None of these foods have Pesticides, Hormone Injections or Antibiotics in them. You cannot believe what is in our foods that we are so unaware of today. The studies show that --- it's why our kids are developing much sooner today (hormones in the meats) and also why we have become immune to so many antibiotics (because it's in our meats). It really makes allot of sense to me. I just wish that these foods were more affordable to EVERYONE! Cuz I know it's very difficult for those with families or on a tight budget. Anyway, I know it's working for me and I am grateful to God for that!! I feel so dumb that when the book/program was mentioned on HERE I didn't look into it deeper then! Duhhh :dizzy: The book I am in now by the same writer is titled *The Maker's Diet* and it's great!

 Congrats on your 17 lbs down!!!!!!!!

You should be so proud of yourself! What a great 40th gift! :D I haven't lost much weight right now (still bloated from having to take so much fiber), but according to the book, I have to just be patient - it will come off as soon as my body adjusts to the changes... I can't wait!

I am so glad to hear that you had such a good day on your 40th birthday... you so deserve it! I am so sorry :sorry: I missed getting here to send my wishes ON your special day!

Hi Wilma, Good to see you too! :flow2: Read the post to Michele, I just wrote... I mention quite allot to her about the program. It will take time for my insides to heal up according to the book it can take up to 3 - 6 months depending on how ill up you are. I pray that in 3 months (if not sooner) I will be WELL!

Sounds like you had a nice weekend! I actually got out this weekend too :D I went out with Joe to meet our friends for breakfast for the first time in two weeks... what a nice feeling to be out again :D I did not eat out with them (I ate before I went) but I did bring my tea with me and then went and enjoyed their company :) They knew I wouldn't be eating with them and they totally understood. One day soon... but not yet. Thanks for the web-site... I haven't gone there yet, but I will ;) I am happy for you... getting in your exercise and watching your diet --- Thumbs UP girl!

Is that SAMI!!!!???? How great to see you pop in!!!! A trainer??? Where do you go? Is he or she coming to you? Awesome! I am so happy for you --- you sound so happy and healthy, Sami! :flow1: I cannot wait to get there myself!!!

So you are going to have a GrandSON :D :cp: How wonderful!!! You sound so happy... I am happy for you too! :sunny: I miss you :grouphug:

Okay Sprout... I am with Wilma... "Where are you these days???" Is that little puppy keeping you very busy????

Hi Again!

I forgot to mention that I am also on Goat's yogurt, milk & cheese... at first I found it so difficult because the taste is so different from cow's and wondered if I'd ever get use to the change, but now... I enjoy it... and it feels great having cheese on things again :T I also got a Jack LaLanne juicer on sale at Kohl's for $80.00 (with my 15% off coupon :D ) this past week... and have really enjoyed making my own juices. It comes with a recipe book from veggie juices to fruit juices and suggestions on how to use some of the pulp in your recipes to add the extra fiber to your diet.

It hasn't been easy to make all these changes and at first I felt really over-whelmed, but it's getting better :smug:

Later...

Here I go again, waiting soooooo long to post that I only glanced at everyone elses posts.

No pups...not even sure she's pg at this point. Maybe just fat from the puppy food...I'll do the temperature thing tonight and tomorrow a.m.

DH is out driving with his left foot. I can't hold him down. I asked him today to NOT do his pain meds and drive...just take the tylenol. Who knows. Praying for his safety. Only the Lord knows what he'll be doing when I'm away.

Michele...I e-mailed you.

Everyone...I will be in FL Thursday to Tuesday and will post when I return. Hugs...bye!

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for your prayers. My nieces name is Channon (pronounced Shannon). She is so beautiful and the doctors say she is doing better than expected. We know that God is good and all things are possible through Him! AMEN!!

A little background about me: I am 30 years old, married with 3 children. A 9 year old boy, a 2 year old girl and a 1 year old girl. Yes, we are very busy around my house! My family is such a blessing to me! I have a wonderful husband and 2 new puppies!! I will attach pictures as soon as I figure out how to download them. :-) I spend alot of my time in church with my family. We have alot of programs for youth and children at my church so I like to keep them involved. I also like walking with the kids and going to the park. My favorite hobby used to be cooking, but I have had to put that on the back burner until I can get a few more healthy recipes under my belt! Thank you guys so much for welcoming me. I am so happy I got connected with you!

As you can see by the last thread and all the pictures we all adore our pets :D Joe & I have 3 cats :sssh: they think they are people  and no children :sorry: - we have furry children :^: We have been married this June 21st for 30 years :smug: and I am a home-maker (don't work, outside of our home, but sure do at home!). I am so glad to see you came back... you'll figure things out here and if you don't... just ask --- someone will lend you a helping hand ;)

Just joined the website today, have browsed 3FC prior and love all their good info. Currently, -obviously- fighting my weight, need to lose about 90 pounds. Counted calories years ago and was very successful but now can't seem to keep it going for more than a few weeks, sometimes even just a few days. Exercise is a big problem, I think I'm allergic to it!!

Not really sure how all the smiley faces and icons work but hopefully I can catch on to it. . .

Thanx for listening and just keep trying

Hello Margie B!

I totally understand about being allergic! What helped me was to incorporate something that was easy into my everyday routine. So I walk every day for about 30-45min. I go Monday-Friday with a friend of mine at lunch time, then when my son gets out of school me, my husband and my kids all go walking again to kind of wind down the day. It is really good to have the social time with my friend and then also to have some family time with the kids out of the house each day. So try to do something that comes naturally for you to do and does not require alot of prep time or effort like driving to the gym and then finding a machine that is available. :strong:

Welcome and good luck! :goodluck:

Welcome to Margie B and Mnewton!
Margie B- I agree as well with the allergy to exercise. I have to do it as soon as I get out of bed, before coffee or forget it, it won't happen.
Mnewton- So sorry to hear about your niece Channon- prayers for her healing. You sound as busy as the rest of us. Mitchy- HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Sorry I missed it, glad to hear it was a good day. Happy to hear date went well also. Dinner sounds yummy.
Sunny- Thanks ! Dollar store is always fun, never know what you'll find. I got bird feeders and suet with see in it for the birds. and some really neat little compacts with flowers and birds on them they have a sewing kit inside them for my staff for Easter. so that was nice. Your new diet sounds interesting, prayers that it works and your soon feeling so much better.
E.Z. - enjoy Washington, we had a great day yesterday in the 50's but right back with snowstorm and 20's today but it is almost over. M-Kay- nice to hear from you, glad hubby is feeling better, prayers he doesn't drive with pain meds. Have awesome time in Florida. Beach Bunny. Well gotta run and make dinner, having chicken tonight, I am doing fine. will post more later. See ya

Hi Sue, I haven't been to the $-Store recently... now after reading your post... I'm gonna :D Yeah... my diet is for survival and health, not necessarily for losing weight... although, he said you will lose with it. I'm waiting :crossed: ;)

And on sale is always better! ;) I sure hope you start feeling better really soon. Your poor tummy. Oh, and thanks for noticing my ticker and the 17 lbs! I'm feeling really good about it. I also got measured and have lost 15.5 inches from my bust, waist, hips, and thighs. I can't believe it, but i'll accept it. I'm really feeling it in my clothes now.

Hi SunnyD,

Yes I did recive your reply I was just trying to figure out some of the post options and accidentally sent it again. :^: Thank you so much for your prayers for my niece. My puppies are Lhasa Apso's. They are now 3 months old and a handful. We bought them for our kids for Christmas and they have brought so much entertaiment to the house. I can relate to what you were saying about having "fury children" because these pups are just like babies! Cute like babies too. I used to be a homemaker and actually just started working 3weeks ago. It was pretty hard to leave the kids after being home for so long, but I had to do it to help out. I feel good about it though because my kids are in a daycare with a woman from our church who has the center in her house. There are only 6 kids and 2 of them are mine so they get the attention they need. Needless to say I am praying for a way to help out financially and still be at home with my kids. I know He will make a way!! :cb:

Been busy this last month - with teaching Priscilla school and now the new puppy - and then the IBS has acted up somewhat.

On the subject of puppies: Koko is really becoming a clown - he sure has learned quickly who to bug and who to stay away from. He gets down right terrible when Norm is home - jumps around like a kangaroo with this funny bark and wants to nip him all the time - and naturally Norm is egging him on. Koko doesn't do this to me as I tend to be the one to 'discipline' more - funny when he gets going he will stop and look at me and wait to see if I am going to correct him, turn to Norm and then squeal (his funny bark) But last night was the corker of all times.

Norm was out to work, Koko was upstairs and I needed to go downstairs to clean up the family room a bit and finish up the wash. Priscilla came down to help me - and we could hear Koko upstairs playing with his toys - no problem - it then became quiet - no problem as he still tires out easily. Priscilla went to check on him and called me to come quickly - so up I went - and low and behold - as small as he is he had pushed open the bathroom door, pulled down a roll of toilet paper, took it into the livingroom and proceeded to shred it - it was a terrible mess. And on top of it I couldn't find him - he is so small and white that when he was in the living room he blended right in with the mess - when I called him he came quickly but when he got to my feet he realized that he was in trouble - boy did he take off down the hall, ran into our bedroom door opening it and right into his crate. Was so funny - his 'punishment' was the he couldn't sleep on our bed last night - and he didn't complain at all - he slept very nicely in his crate till 7 this morning - guess he knew better than to make a noice.

Koko will be 3 months old on Thursday and is just 2 pounds - very little - but is learning fast. He will sit on command, is house trained now - but should we leave him at home when we go out - he has paid us back with a mess when we let him out of his crate (we put him out side right away - but should he be upset at us he will squat by the door and put a few 'drops' just to let us know not to leave him at home again.) He will come when called - most times - but when we go to bend over to pick him up he runs back - he is smart enough to realize that if we are wanting to pick him up he might be in trouble - but he is so cute we have a hard time being upset with him

I get weighed tomorrow so will report back on that then

Night all

Nothing much to report here except the same old routine. I still am exercising each morning and am trying to eat properly. I am really looking forward to when the snow is gone and I can go walking outside. (We still have over 2 feet of snow in our yard.)

Good Morning to All and thanks so much for the welcomes.

MNEWTON I'm a walker too but with the change in time, it's dark before I get home. I do have a Gazelle that I try to get on 45 min. or so a day. . . does anyone have any experience and hopefully success with one of these? It's easy, maybe too easy because I just don't feel like I'm getting any kind of workout. The good side though, if I'm on the Gazelle 45 minutes, that 45 minutes that I'm not sitting on the couch eating potato chips! (My BIGGEST weakness)! :^:

EZMONEY I think I'll like it here too, all the friendliness like one big family was one of the reasons I got on this thread.

MITCHYPOO 17 pounds!!!!! How? That's wonderful. I've had a goal of 10 by St. Patty's day but I don't think it's going to happen, maybe 5 but I'm still trying.

doitforme, first of all, love the name, there is just so much we could do for HIM but yet it would never be enough for what He's done for me. My only question for you, 'is there life BEFORE coffee'? :coffee:

SunnyD57 thank you also for the welcome. I love your posts, you are such a positive person and your name appears to also show your disposition. Many, many words of encouragement are in your posts which are much appreciated. :)

Hope everyone is having a great day. "This is a day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." :thanks:

Good Morning Everyone!

It is a wonderful day today! I pray you all are doing well. :cloud9:

EZMONEY- So you are off to Washington? I live in WA and just love it here. Now is a really good time to come. We havent seen rain in a few weeks and the sky is blue and clear. Its a little cloudy in the am but it clears up by the afternoon. Have fun on your trip! ;)

SunnyD- Margie B is right. You are such an encouragement! I love seeing your posts. Margie B - Potato chips are my weakness too! So I totally undertand. But you are so right, being on the Gazelle is far better than getting cozy with a bag of chips! Keep it up, you will see the results. If you are not breaking a sweat just up the resistance and continue with the 45min. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing your success! :goodvibes

Wilma12 - 2 feet of snow?!! Wow, we got snow for about 15mins one day and it was all gone 1/2 hour later. We havent seen any since. Well hopefully it will be gone soon so you can enjoy the springtime weather. Good job staying on your exercise and eating routine while having to stay in the house! I know that can be challenging so way to go! :cheer:

You are very welcome! I know how great it feels when you are on the upswing in losing the weight... I am so very happy for you :dancer: Are you buying their vitamins and food at LA Wt-Loss? Or are you just following their plan?

MNewton, Oh good... I was thinking you got lost or confused ;) I am so glad to see you are finding your way around :) I remember when I started here --- I did allot of researching --- I couldn't figure it all out fast enough. I really enjoy posting with color and using the graphics :^:

:thanks: so much for the kinds words... I really care deeply for people, God's People, so I try to do my very best to remind everyone with encouragement how SPECIAL we are to HIM... Do I get a Amen? :)

I bet your two Lhasa Apso's are adorable!!! I LOVE animals!!! My furry kids have brought me so much *JOY* & *Laughter* 3 months old, you have babies... enjoy them at this stage... they grow so fast! If you look at the pictures I posted you will see my three :) The 2-tabby's are brothers (second picture), Guido in front & Zeppe in back and this June they will be 3 yrs old. They both weigh about 15 lbs... big guys :o ! Then there's my precious little Black & Whilte, Domino... he's 9 yrs old and only about 7 lbs. I am so glad that they all get along so well.

I would so love to work again... I use to work for Jazzercise (15 yrs as a registrar - I signed people up), a Tanning Boutique (for 4 yrs) & a Card Shop (for 3 yrs)... but I cannot work right now with my poor health. That's why I am trying so hard to get my health back. I would love to get back out there --- not necessarily in the working world, but I'd love to volunteer somewhere. Good for you doing what you can... your children sound like they are in very good hands :goodvibes :df:

Hey there Sprout! Good to see you :flow1: I thought you might be rather busy lately with your new furry kid ;) Sounds like KOKO is fitting into the family just beautifully... making you all laugh allot I read  Soooo Cute!! Did you read the post from MNewton??? Her two pups are the same age as your little KOKO is :D You sound just like me with my boys... I cannot get angry at them --- I just laugh at their innocence... they always look at me with their heads all tilted like, "What???" "Something wrong?" ***Enjoy!!!***

Gary, Cannot wait to see some updated pictures of your new home when you get back!

Wilma, Just keep on truckin' you will see results soon :cheer:

Margie B, I *Thank~you* as well :flow1: for your kind words... it's so nice to hear. As Michele (Mitchypoo) has mentioned I haven't been well lately, so your kind words (and the others on this thread) have lifted my spirits so much :bubbles: I love this thread and this great group of people!!

When I am well... I too am a walker :) I have the *Walk Away the Pounds* DvD's, an Elliptical & a T-Mill. I use the T-Mill the most. When I have a 'feel good day' I usually get in about 2 miles. I am so anxious for the warmer temps of Spring so I can get OUT and walk, but Winter in just hanging on here in NE Ohio... how is it where you live? I live in Geauga County --- are you familiar with that area? We get hit allot here... like yesterday!

*Hello's* out there  to all our MIA's!!!
Have a nice evening gang...

Sunny I know you suffer from IBS - as so many of us do.

Think I might have asked you this before but could you give me an idea about your program you are following re your IBS - maybe a link to it - I have been suffering off and on with this problem - have found some foods that get it going but need to work on what to do when having a flair up.

If there is a link to the food program - any info would help.

Thanks

Aren't you the one that told us about *The Maker's Diet*?? I thought you were  Anyway, Jordan Rubin who wrote it has the program I am following. I not only have IBS, but I also have Diverticulitis and a prolapsed colon... that's why I have been suffering so much lately & not able to sit for long periods of time and don't mention often what is wrong with me :^: - it's humbling to say the least ; I will eventually have to have surgery to do repairs on the prolapsed muscle :( and the polyps --- that I am not looking forward to at all, but I have been told that I will feel worlds better if I had it done. Soon... right now I am concentrating on getting my insides quieted down and healed up and his program is working. But I warn you... it's expensive! His vitamins and the switch to Organic Foods are $$$-costly, but so is a hospital stay :^:

Here is the Link to his site below ~>

Sunny~love the pics of the boys....wow, to be a cat, huh? Looks so comfy.

Back is really hurting today from that fall :(, put some icy/hot stuff on today. Had to go home last night and go to bed. Hopefully it'll get better today. We're having a little snow today, but it's almost 40 degrees? I'm sooo ready for spring.

I did have a great time with the kids, we have another practice scheduled after church on Sunday. Love the pics of your babies Sunny- they look quite content. We have two cats at work. Taz- a long haired grey/White's favorite place is on top of the clean laundry, in the laundry room. Prayers for healing still coming your way. Sun is shinning beautiful today but open the door and b-u-r-r-rr-r-r. It is in the 20's. Gotta work today! off the weekend. Have a great day everyone. Gotta go brave the cold!

Hello friends. I am really feeling at home with each of you. The lines of communication are going so smoothly I feel like I'm talking with my neighbors.

SUNNYD Needed a bright color for you to help you with the dreary day. We just don't realize the blessing we have with just good health! My mom has IBS and my dad also suffers from diverticulitis, so much the same suffering. If you have to have surgery, I suggest you get in there and get it over with as soon as your health allows. That way you won't be dreading it and putting it off. Summer is around the corner and you want to be on amends by then. I'll also give you a big AMEN, we are ALL God's people and each special, not only to Him but should be to each other. I hadn't seen anything on the 'Maker's Diet' but will check out the website and see if I can get the book at the library, looks legit.

I do know where Geauga County is, was there last year with my daughter's 6th grade safety patrol to the lake, then to Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland and to the Zoo, then down to Canton (President McKinley's memorial is awesome, lots of history stuff), suppose to go to Longerberger but ran out of time. Did go by an ice cream factory (Velvet), needless to say that was a big hit with everyone.

I'm in the very southern point of Ohio, Lawrence County, where Kentucky and West Virginia meet with us, but sounds like our weather is just about the same. We've had a lot of wind (which I hate) but temps have been in the low/mid 30's. Our normal this time of year is usually low 50's. I have noticed my spring bulbs coming up, crocus' blooming and my forsythia is about ready to burst, all we need is a good warm day or two. Can't believe WILMA still has 2 feet of snow! We had, maybe 4 inches accumulation total this year, not much, only one snow day from school thus far.

MITCHYPOO unfortunately don't have an LA Weightloss around here so guess I'm outta luck on that one for now. Get that snow out of Minnesota too, I'm bringing my daughter and two girlfriends to the Mall of America over spring break and don't want to run into any blizzards. Have you been to MOA? Is it huge? Nice? I try to do something with my daughter, Sara, every spring break for the past 3 or 4 years, so this year we're hitting the Mall - weather permitting of course! :sball2:

MNEWTON My Gazelle doesn't have the resistance straps, or whatever you call them, it's a little older model than that. Any other ideas, maybe stay on longer? Anyone had any success with the Gazelle that you know of. I like it because it's low impact and basically noiseless, so I can 'ride' while we're watching TV and the neighbors aren't hearing our show also.

doitforme I'm thinking of trying some time on the Gazelle with my coffee??? Sounds like you keep quite busy with the youth group. I wish our church was more successful in that endeavor, unfortunately we got a new preacher a year ago and he likes 'change' which isn't a good word in church. A lot of the older members have left and so have most of the youth, - don't know what the solution is at this point, - just have to leave it up to Him, He knows where we're going with all this and I'm sure will make it clear in His time. The up side of the new pastor is his wife, she is very music-oriented, (as am I) and has started a handbell choir and an ensemble, both of which I'm part of, and are a real blessing, not only to the participants but those in attendance as well, well - - at least I hope the ensemble will be, our first 'test' is Easter Sunday, we have two songs ready so we'll see. . . .

SPROUT Just wanted to know how you log all those walking miles? Are you with a group, or mall walkers, or regular at the Y? That's a lot and I'm impressed! I think if I make it a couple laps around the park (2.5 mi total) that I've done something but I do pale in comparison to you :^:

"O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; because his mercy endureth for ever. " -love the Psalms, so full of praise-

Have a wonderful day

Hi Margie, what a nice long post from you. Yes, i've been to the MOA, many times. It is huge, it's wonderful, it's fun! I've been to many first dates there. You can find a good place to eat, go to the movies, there's lots to do there. Let me know if you can spare a half hour and we could meet for a cup of coffee! It'd be great to actually meet someone from our thread. We've talked of a few of us in the midwest meeting in Chicago sometime but not sure if that'll happen. We have to get our dear Sunny back to her old self first. ;)

Good Morning All!! It is such a wonderful day! I have received great news last night! :cb: My sister-in-law says that my 12 week old neice will be coming home from the hospital next week! She has been at Childrens Hospital for the last 2 months, and has had 9 surgeries. My sister-in-law will be giving her part of her chemotherapy at home and then she will need to be in the hospital for only 3 days a month. So we are thanking our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and still believing Him for her total and complete healing! AMEN! I just had to share that praise report! :high:

:sunny: SunnyD - I had no idea you were ill. :( You have such a wonderful disposition. Well I have been praying for you and your healing. I also go walking with my friend every day at lunch time and we decided that we are going on a "Prayer Walk" today. :tread: We have so much to pray for so we decided to walk and agree. We will be praying for you and all of you that are not feeling well.

It is about 45 degrees right now and they say its going to be about 67 degress by this afternoon. I cant believe spring is here! I will be praying for wonderful weather for you all! :)

MNEWTON Praise the Lord, Channon is getting better. She will be such a blessing to you all. I knew from previous posts that she was your neice but didn't realize she was so little. Aren't babies just little miracles? They are so wonderful and so loved and so innocent. I could go on and on but you understand I know, babies are a very beautiful part of life. Will continue prayers on Channon's behalf and for her mommy's too in assisting in her treatment and recovery.

MitcheyPoo Would LOVE to get together at MOA. :cofdate: We're planning on the week after Easter, actually we're leaving here Easter Sunday after church. The MOA is the only thing on our agenda, just enjoy the Mall, the shops, the restaurants and the new environment. I guess I should warn you, I'll have 3- 13 year olds in tow :dizzy:

Good Afternoon Everyone

I cannot believe how much better I feel today!! It's cold outside (25* right now), but the sun is beaming :sunny: into our home - what a wonderful feeling! I have gotten so much done already... I walked 30 minutes this morning on my T-Mill listening to Steve Green's *Hide 'em in Your Heart Songs* (that CD just makes me smile! I just love his music with kids), I got some paperwork done that had to be finished today & the laundry almost finished. And after I finish here... I'm gonna go wash the kitchen floor, clean the bathrooms & then run the vacuum while I still feel so good. Day's like this give me such hope to be well again and I feel like I am well on my way :df:

*~*~*

Hi Michele, I am sorry... I didn't realize that you back was hurting you again. Fall? I must have missed something when you posted. I hope you feel better soon!

About LA Wt-loss ~ Are you buying their vitamins and food at LA Wt-Loss? Or are you just following their plan?

Hi Margie B :flow1: Both, You and MNewton have just fit right in :flow2: It's so nice that you both have joined us :goodvibes

I am sorry to say that our weather IS very different! We had 19 inches of snow here just 10 days ago!! I only wish we could see bulbs coming up right now... but alas we are still covered in snow here... we got another inch last night and are in for another system coming tonight and into tomorrow --- I only hope that it doesn't drop as much snow as they are predicting. I WISH we had temps in the 30's, but at the moment it's 25* and this morning we woke up to 15*. So you are much warmer then we are, we have colder temps because of how close we are to Lake Erie ;)

As for my health, I am determined not to let this continue to take days away from me... and I will go for that surgery just as soon as I can find a Dr. that I work well with ;) The Dr. I have now is good for my hubby, but not for me. I have to tell myself everyday to be patient... that it takes time for the body to heal after being ill for so long, but I think I am well on my way :)

Hi MNewton, What wonderful news!!!! I am thrilled :cp: to hear that Channon is doing so well!!! 9 surgeries!?!!! Bless her little heart :bubbles:

Thank you... I really try not to let it get me down... each day I say this morning healing prayer:

* Morning Prayer for Healing*
Father God, I thank you for creating me in Your image.
I praise You that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I confess that You are the God that heals, my Great Physician.
I ask You to heal my body from the top of my head to the soles
of my feet. I pray that You would regenerate every bone, joint,
tendon, ligament, tissue, organ, and cell of my body. This is the
day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen.

and try to do my best to look to the bright-side of life. There is so much here on this planet to be enjoyed ;)

45*!!!!! I so wish!!!!!!

Sunny, so happy you are better today! I have a house to clean and floor to wash if you are up to it! ;)... I forgot to answer your earlier question. I am not buying any of the LAWL products. I was taking a good multi-vitamin/antioxidant (had to let it go cuz of finances) and i buy a different kind of bar, the LAWL ones are really expensive and i found one that is very similar in nutrition at a fraction of the cost (Luna bars). So it's really just real food, although there are frozen meal choices you can have to. Which is convenient for me.

Weather here has been so nice - best winter I have seen in years - and for us up here in Canada not to get a lot of snow - feels good - but not so good for the water situation during the summer.

Margie B you asked about my walking. I have put on a lot of miles but it has been slow going - haven't done much lately - need to get back at it. We have a new Rec Center (it is called The Rec Plex) and the concourse around the hockey rink is open for walkers. On the entrance door it tells how many laps you need to complete 1 mile (6 1/2 laps will do it). When I started walking I could only do 1 lap and that took forever. Then as time went along I got up to doing 3 miles at a time - but have been rather slack for awhile - I put it to the 2nd time around with the cancer setting me back - but that could just be a cop out too. Anyway, when I do go walking everyday that I do I make a not of the day and the miles and at the end of every month just total them up for the month and then for the grand total. As for a group no not really. There are a number of people that do go walking there (it is in door so weather is not an excuse for not going) but when I go it is usually hubby, my daughter and another couple (there others there also) but that is who we walk with. Then after the walk we go out for 1/2 hour for coffee before returning home. Makes it a nice way to start off the day - and this couple that we walk with are very very close friends.

But like I said, the total miles I have walked is over a period of time with most of it done prior to 2005. But things are going to change as I am wanting to hit that 1,000 mile mark as soon as possible so I have to get back on track and doing the walks each day.

It's been a crazy week for me. I have a situation I would like to ask prayer for. My supervisor at work got a promotion and now her job will be vacant. She has asked me to apply for her position. The problem is that I don't know whether I have the experience and the knowledge to do what she does. She is an amazing supervisor and would be a really hard act to follow. I also have the problem that I would be supervisor over people who have become my friends. It's a tough situation for me. The promotion would mean a big raise and a desk job but I'm not sure if I can do the job. Please pray that I make the right decision. I am really torn up about this.
Thanks.

Other than that I am doing great. I'm eating well and exercising regularly again. I hope to report another loss on Sunday.

It's snowing here again!! We usually have a couple of storms in March and then spring begins but they don't want to stop. I am so ready to see some green grass.

Well, gotta go to work. We'll see what happens there!! Thanks for all your support.

I have heard of those Luna Bars... I think it's great that you are not relying on their foods all that much, this way when you get down to your goal, you will be able to keep it going to stay at the weight you want. Now won't that be cool  :smug:

Thanks! I had a really good day yesterday and today hasn't started off too badly either ;) Joe stayed home today, because he was so tired from his late practice at church and it's snowing like the dickens out there right now - accidents everywhere and he didn't want to deal with the traffic - cannot say that I blame him one bit. So he' s in the diningroom right now working out his music and I will be doing the bill's just as soon as I finish here.

I got everything done I planned on doing yesterday :D Yeah! :D If you lived closer... I'd come over and lend you that helping hand or two ;) When I feel well... it's wonderful, I get so much done! I sure do hope that these are the beginning days of many to come! I feel real good today too :sunny: I have already gotten in my 30 minutes on the T-Mill and taken all my supplements as I am to do and had a great breakfast! Too bad the weather is much to be desired... what are ya gonna do :dizzy: I think that Joe and I will go do a little shopping later this afternoon... I really need a new pair of walking shoes :o

Wilma~Go for it girl! Remember, you already have everything you need. Maybe this came up because you are up for the challenge and what better way to go into a position like that, than to have friends as coworkers.

Well, i called Bruce and left a message, he suddenly stopped calling and i think i told you that he was suppose to see dr. re: some tests he took right before we met. He send me an email saying that he had tried to call, but he isn't ready to talk and he had bad news and has to talk to his mom and family. That doesn't sound good. He said it's not contagious, but it sounds bad. I just told him that i understood if he didn't want to talk now, but that i was here and i do care.

Gary~I know you are away building your mansion, but what is happening to my Vikings! Can you believe it! Losing Moss (are the Raiders your team? If so, you lucky guy, or maybe not depending on your attitude of his antics), and now with Coach Tice and the scalping problems... A man who makes $1M a year, and he's doing stuff like that?

Margie B - Exercising before coffee helps me get my first bottle of water in, as I drink my bottle well walking on t-mill then shower and enjoy coffee, makes coffee a reward sort a anyway My youth group started doing yearly missions when our kids started being teenagers. We have done trips the last 4 years. We try to incorporate a few fun activities, and an educational piece. Last year we went to New Jersy and did a day trip to Philadelphia, where kids saw Liberty bell ect. My youth group has many members that are musically gifted they play instruments- piano, guitars, dulcimer, mandolin, harmonica ect. They start working on their program in January they do a specific theme and do songs and skits that revolve around that them. This years is Sharing Christ. They do church services, they volunteer to do sunday schools junior church classes, special music during services. They put there program on at retirement homes, and nursing homes. In order to participate in this trip they have to come every Wed. Night to youth group where we have prayer meeting, they have a bible lesson, group prayer for their concerns or needs, then practice. So it works out well. It has been a big draw to get them there on Wed. nights. Because they get to take a trip in the end. They have had friends from school come so they can go with them which gets them there on Wed. hearing the word.Mnewton- GREAT NEWS ABOUT CHANNON! My pastor had a rediagnosis of malignant melanoma 4 years ago, at that time he was given 8 months to live. They didn't believe there was anything medically they could do as melanoma is so resistive to treatment. When they removed the tumor they were unable to get clean borders. He had positive results of it being in his blood, and in the femur of his leg. He was healed miracuously by the grace of God he currently is a walking miracle, he has no signs or symptoms of melanoma today. He is at a extremly high risk of return but they can not explain had he made it.Some of his Dr's actually think he has a special in because he is a pastor, this experience gave him the opportunity to witness to people he would never have ran into, some at the worst time of there lives. I mention this to instill hope, as God puts us in situations for a reason, and He has the power to heal, He is the great physician, will keep her in prayer.

Mitchy- prayers for Bruce, I am sure He will share when He is ready.
Sunny- SO GREAT YOU ARE FEELING BETTER! Prayers it continues. I can't wait to see the ground so I can get my site raked off and cleaned up, but weather has a ways to go to cooperate, as flurrying today. New shoes! Love shopping for shoes. a junior Mrs. Marcos. I am going to a dinner at the Elks tom. its a $100 dollars dinner which benefits the senior class helps pay for their senior trip. They have all kinds of prized they give away, during the dinner. The grand prize is $5000 in cash. Everyone is guarenteed to win something. Last year I won a free scratch off lottery ticket, which didn't win. But it is fun, and for a good cause. Then church on Sunday practice for missions tip after church evening service then home as I have an early morning on Monday. One of my patients was rediagnosed with cancer, she had breast cancer, but her tumor markers went up alot, her Dr. feels that it has metastisised somewhere in her body. So I have to take her for staging studies on Monday morning at 7am Then they will reconvene and make decision of treatment. Her name is Mary anne prayer would be appreciated. She is profoundly mentally retarded. So, chemo may not be an option. She has exhausted all oral chemo meds. Prayers your good feeling continues
Sprout- I remember all the walking, you are still way ahead of most of us. Wilma- I agree witht he others, I don't think your supervisor would have said it if she didn't mean it. I supervise 7 other people and was friends with some of them before becoming their supervisor. The big thing is to set the guidelines of your expectations. {that things will not change from the job your supervisor is doing, since you said she is wonderful, you can continue with how she has been doing things. Just can't let friends get away with more or special treatment , I am sure you will do fine, prayers for a the right decision.
I am doing great myself I lost one more pound for an even 25 which is cool slow but steady. Got to go grocery shopping today, then r/r so easy fun day. Hi to all those MIA! E.Z. Happy Building remember those pics. :) See ya!

 Hello Everyone!! Once again it is a beautiful day out. 65 degrees today! :sunny: My sons birthday is today so I am getting off work early and taking him some cupcakes up to his class so he can have a party with them. Then tomorrow he is having his birthday party. It is supposed to be nice tomorrow too, I pray that it is because all the games and the pinata are going to be outside! I tell you, God is just so good. I went to bed ast night just thanking Him for being who He is. Thanking Him for chosing me, for loving me and for saving me. I just was thinking, where would I be in my life right now if it had not been for him?? Scary thought! :yikes: But thanks be to God who loves us all!

Wilma - You go for it girl! This is no mistake! Every good and perfect gift comes from above, so you reach right up and get your gift. God does not give us more than we can handle. Trust Him as He has trusted you! If you dont feel qualified, you ask God to make you qualified!! Can He do it??? Of course He can! :cheer:

doitforme - Thank you so much for that testimony! I know God can and will do it for my niece. He IS the great physician, you are right about that. She is such a blessing to me. She has stretched my faith and made me so grateful for everything. I mean, I look at her and what she has gone through in her little time she has been here, and she still smiles when we talk to her and she still pulls through. So then I think to myself, "and I am complaining and griping ...?" Boy does this put things in perspective! So I am believing God and I will continue until we send the end of this thing. I already told her that she is a walking testimony!

SunnyD - I am so happy to hear that you are feeling great again today!! You cleaned up yesterday (literally). Shopping is always a good thing. I know it always makes me feel better!

Hello again ladies. . . . :)

doitforme - Your youth group sounds terrific. How many kids do you have involved and what age group does all this work? Do the rewards (trip) come at the end of the school year? Our group usually takes the summer off, other than maybe an occasional outing to the pool or something. One pound down, keep it going, that's one more toward your goal. :twirly:

SunnyD57 - So glad to hear you're having another good day, hopefully they will add up. Also meant to add yesterday that I LOVE the pictures of your cats! I have always been a 'cat person', at one time I had 4 indoors! (Which was about 3 too many!) But I love them all, currently just one now, Miss Inquisitive, 'Quizzie' for short. She a long hair white and thinks she's Queen Quizzie! Usually in the bed, down under the covers before I can get it made of the morning and can't seem to understand why I don't leave her there all day! :nono:

MNEWTON - Happy Birthday to your son. :hb: How old is he? I always enjoy my daughter's birthdays but am also just as happy once they're over, they can be a lot of work! :dizzy: And you abraggin' on your 65 degree weather, we're looking at a snowy weekend. . . oh well, spring will be here sometime. . .

WILMA - I totally agree with the girls, - if you weren't able to do it, your boss wouldn't have suggested you go for it. Set the guidelines and expectations, and be sure and talk to the Big Guy, that's always the first step. Like MNewton also said, 'He wouldn't put more on you than you can handle', - sometimes I just wish He wouldn't trust me so much. . . :^:

"This is a day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it"

Best wishes to all for a great weekend, Margie

He emailed me again and said that he would keep in touch. How would a spinal tap verify a diagnosis? He's going to have one. I think he wants to be sure and know what he's dealing with. It's really bothering me that i can't help. I'm going to invite him to Alpha when we have healing ministry.

doitforme

Mitchy- they often use a spinal tap to test for an infection, such as meningitis, not sure this is what he is wrong because it is also used to test other problems as well, such as bleeding around the brain (subarachnoid Hemorrhage), or causes of unexplained seizures or headaches but infections are the big one. They are usually handeled with antibiotics, although they are considered serious and the procedure itself can cause meningitis. Will keep him in prayer. Pray he lets you know soon, sometimes knowing is better than not knowing.
M-Newton- 65 degrees send some my way! You are right He has the power, and He works all things to good, even when we don't understand why!
Margieb- My youth group goes from age 12-18 we usually go on our trip after the kids get out of school in July . But this year, we have to that will have graduated and are headed to college so we went early so they can be part of it. She ia our piano player and He is one of the guitar players. The kids work very hard at this for several months, and we decided that in order to be eligible to go on the trip you must be in the youth group working toward this goal, when we start not just before we go. Our teens are an exceptional group, they all most all go to Christian school, they almost all profess salvation. So we are blessed with that. I do the props and outfits for the skits and program. The other lady does the music and the songs ect. We both work on skit training, and Her husband does the bible lesson and prayer group so they have 3 adult leaders. We have a great time though.
I had baked chicken skin-less and a medley of veggies tonight. It was a tasty dinner. Now I'm going to go do dishes and r/r . So check back later, have good evening.

Thank you so much for your support. Knowing that you are all praying for me gives me strength and confidence that I will make the right decision.

I know that I am not qualified for this job but I can learn it. I am also concerned about the feelings of a co-worker who is pretty sure she'll get this position and I'm pretty sure she won't.

I am meeting my supervisor for lunch one day next week and I'm going to ask her lots of questions. I'll keep you posted on what is going on.

Again, I really appreciate you guys. Thanks so much for your prayers.

Becoming a manager over my friends has kept me from moving forward. But as time goes by I think that it is silly to KEEP FROM MOVING forward in my life and where God wants me to be. Pray Pray Pray and I hope the best for you and your career choices. Hopefully, your friends will support you and understand your new responsibilities.

Good morning all

I really miss you guys on the weekend, it so quiet around here then. I too haven't been online much on the weekends.

It's really cold today, i'd like to just stay home and hibernate, but i really should go do some laundry.

I was up with birthday weight, but i'm not letting it get to me. I weighed on Thurs, and was up, but yesterday i was down again. I'm just going to continue and see what happens next week, if i continue to lose, i think i'm doing ok.

Feeling rather homesick today. I've contemplated moving back to CA, how sick is that?

Wilma- I am sure you will make an awesome boss, because you question the fact leads me to believe you would be concerned for your staff and that is what starts the making of a good boss, someone who cares to start with.
Hi there Angie, nice of ya to stop in, your doing great with reaching your goal, your almost there.Mitchy- I certainly understand the being homesick, I could never move that far away from my family. I see them at two, to three times aweek, and I am an hour away. Palm Sunday is next weekend, hard to believe Easter is that close. I gotta go to work early in the morning so just popped in to say hi, wo't be back till Tuesday, working from 6:30am- 12midnight tom. You gals have a good day. Cheer up, Keep smiling,

How is everyone doing this morning? I hope you all had a great weekend.

I spent Saturday on the road with DH. He wanted to give me a taste of what the winter roads are like. I really enjoyed it and it gave me a new appreciation for what he does. We drove across a frozen lake and then through a trail plowed through the bush to get to a remote village. It was really eye opening to see how some people live.

I spent Sunday relaxing. I have been thinking a lot about this new position and have spent a lot of time praying about it. I was so tired from the stress that I slept 12 hours Saturday night. I never do that. I still haven't make a decision but I feel peace. PTL! I still plan to talk to my supervisor and get more info. Thanks so much for keeping me in your prayers.

I maintained my weight again this week but am retaining fluid because of approaching TOM so hopefully I'll be able to report a loss soon.

Thank you again so much for your prayers. Love to you all!

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had my son's birthday party and it was great! He turned 9 and had about 20 kids there. We only invited 10 but ended up with 20. But that was fine, I kind of thought that might happen so I was prepared. The weather was nice so we were able to have the entire party outside. So it all went well.

Mitchypoo - I am sorry to hear that you are homesick. I will be praying that the Lord will give you peace.

doitforme - Your youth group sounds wonderful! I love to hear about the youth doing good work for God. We have a youth group in our church. They are called Generation Church and they are on fire. They have their own bible study on Wed. and they have grown so much that they have kicked the adult bible study out of the sanctuary! It seats about 3000 people and they fill up the bottom half! You are doing a great job, keep up the good work! You are helping to build the future of the Kingdom!

wilma - Keep praying! The Word says that the steps of the righteous are ordered by God. So you pray that He would open the doors that no man can close and close the doors that no man can open! Acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

Angie - 127 lbs lost?!! Congratulations!! How did you do it?

SunnyD - Are you feeling better?

Well, I am going to get back to work. Talk to you all soon! Have a very blessed day!

I'm back to post to each of you... :flow1:

Hi Sue, *CONGRATS!!!!* on an even 25 pounds down!!! I am so happy for you, Sue!

Keep it up! :bravo:

Thank you so much!!! So far, everyday has been a better day :flow1: I am still not up-to-par yet, but so well on my way :D I bet that you can't wait for Spring & Summer to get here... I wish I had your love for camping, but I don't fair up well in dampness of any kind. But I know how much you enjoy it and so I live though your stories of each trip you make ;) :bubbles: I bet you are anxious too

Yep, New Shoes! I didn't get fancy shoes this weekend... but I need to for Easter. This shopping trip I got some Nike Airs for the T-Mill - what a difference new shoes make! I got my 30 minutes in this morning and am beginning to get back into the swing of things again. I am not going as far in the 30 minutes (1.25 miles), but I'll work up to what I was doing before ;) It will just take some time.

Your dinner sounded great! Good for you and the Seniors... sounds like you both benefited ;)

I am sorry to hear that one of your patients became ill with cancer again :( How old is Mary Anne? Just wondered... Yes, I will keep her in my prayers! How very sad :cry: My heart goes out to her, her family and to you -as I know they become family to you as well {{{Hugs}}}

Hi MNewton, I am so jealous ( I know... it's a sin :dz: ) but I can't help it! I want to see anything above 40*!!! We still have quite allot of snow here, it snowed all weekend! Thank goodness we had SUN all day today and will for the next couple days, but it's very COLD!!! The sun does help to get through it, but I'd love to open up my house again!

Yes, it did feel good getting out over the weekend :smug: We did do allot of shopping, but didn't really buy much, just did allot of looking and wishing. I want to update our home someday, but it has to wait till the new roof is paid for...

:hb: Belated Birthday wishes to your son :hb: !!! Sounds like he had a wonderful weekend for his 9th birthday parties :D

Oh my goodness Wilma, just the thought of going over a frozen lake walking makes me shaky... nevermind a truck! You are sure an adventurous person! I give you allot of credit! Good for you going with your hubby to work... I have done that too. I know what you mean abut appreciating what they do once you have done it with them. That's why I thank Joe as many times as it comes to my mine to.

Hi Michele, I am sorry to hear that you are homesick... are you sure it's for your family... could it be for their sunny weather?? ;) You have had your share and then some of bad weather also. All kidding aside, I do hope you feel better.

I have been keeping your friend, Bruce, in my prayers... have you heard anything more?

Hi Angie-Wangie! Good to see you POP-IN!!! Do come again ;) I like your Personal Profile picture of you with your critters :)

Hi Margie B, Thank you so much! It is great to feel well again, but I sure do get tired :tired: early at night! I am on Day 15 of the program and I am really beginning to see some good results... my skin is softer and not so dry, my hair looks shiny again, I feel like I can "think clearer" during the day - not feeling so exhausted through my day, I'm just not much good after 8pm. I am definitely getting more done in my day now :D I am still not up-to-par, but I am well on the way - so I am excited! This program is working for me :) All the stuff I had to go through in the beginning has now been well worthwhile :flow1:

Oh... I do have 3 furry kids - Domino (9yrs) Guido & Zeppe (brothers-3yrs) and they all stay INSIDE. Sometimes I think I was insane bringing those two boys home - they get into everything! - but I love 'em to death. I would be beside myself if I didn't know where they were. I have an enclosed porch that they go out on to watch the birds and such anytime they want (cat door) - that keeps them happy. I love your kitty's name!!! Miss Inquisitive, Queen 'Quizzie' --- how cute!!! I bet she's adorable :^: & treated lke a queen too. My furry kids like to be under the covers also, and the fresh warm laundry, our dresser drawers, boxes, bags... any place cozy. I am sure your Queen does too ;) My mother told me that my very first word ever was "kitty" --- so I must have always had a connection to cats. But I love all animals!!

OKAY... MR. GARY... you have been away long enough... where are you these days???

And where did MKay go??? I know she went on a trip, when was she suppose to be back? Anyone know?

We are missing you guys... MIA's---> come back soon!

*~*~*

As for Joe & I: we had such a nice weekend... we went out to breakfast with Mike & Peggy on Saturday morning (I ate before we left & just had my tea there); then we all went grocery shopping. We got home at noon-ish and I had to type up some things for Joe's Choir (Easter Celebration). then at around 4:30pm we also went out to dinner :hun: with our pals (our monthly dine out together :) ) and it was great, because we found an Italian restaurant that is willing to work with my food program... the chef actually came out and spoke with me! I can't believe I ate out and didn't get sick that night or the next day :D We'll be going back there again sometime soon! I had Chicken Marsala - but he broiled the chicken breast (no seasoning, he let me do that) & served it with the Marsala Wine Sauce & mushrooms on the side (no butter, he used very little olive oil instead) & steamed veggies (no butter). All served with a veggie salad (no cheese) and the oil & vinegar on the side - then I can control how much Oil is ON my salad :D Oh and one slice of their Italian bread (no butter)... too yummy to turn away :T

Sunday we went to church and then came home and just enjoyed a quiet day together reading the Sunday paper and catching up with some taped shows I just couldn't stay awake for, but didn't want to miss. It is gonna be very busy for us (mostly JOE) the next two weeks with Palm Sunday and Easter just around the bend. Joe has meetings & practices all this week - I'll be going to one of the practices on Tuesday (for our group), but most of my work will be typing & making photo copies of what Joe needs for his Choir. It's always so hectic two weeks before the holiday's (Easter and Christmas mostly). But... ohhhhh soooooo Beautiful when it all comes together.

Today I had some e-mails to catch up with (to my family) and then I had to begin my cleaning & laundry... I'll get that finished tomorrow, I am plumb tuckered out right now. Lately, anytime between 8 and 9:30 is a struggle to stay awake! :tired: I didn't think I had been gone all that long :sorry: but the last time I was here was on the 10th :o I popped in just to try and keep up with the posts, but didn't have the time to post myself... so I guess I was a lurker too ;)

Well, I am going to call it a night peoples... I think I wrote a book! :ziplip:
See you all later :goodvibes

Wilma- Wow, driving on a frozen lake I am impressed, keep praying God will give you the answer about the job. MNewton- Thanks! You make me feel good. The kids are a joy to work with, and they are all good kids which makes it twice as fun.
Sunny- Thanks! Maryanne is 57 years old. She has no family involvement, but is loved by the staff, She is like a baby in an adult body. So innocent. Wow! your own chef, you go girl, so happy to hear your feeling better. I got another early morning tom. as I am going to Legislative Day. It is when the largest lobby group lobbies our state capital. It is the Christian lobby group, where we remind them we vote, and our many dislikes with the way the agenda for the state is going ie: gambling, gay marriage, taxing churches ect. So I am leaving at 6am tom, there is guest speakers and then we are brought up to date on what is before the legislature. Then we have lunch and finish by seeing our assembly person and senator. So, that should be fun. Then we are going out to dinner tom. night, as agroup on the way home.
Have to visit the salad bar. Hi to all the MIA's E.Z. how's that house coming, M-Kay- hope your enjoying Florida. Catch ya all Later.

Good morning all!

Sunny, woohoo on your efforts on the treadmill, even though you aren't quite up to par. I'm proud of you. Glad you got comfy shoes, it really can make a difference. And you deserve it...

I have not heard anything from Bruce. I'm rather frustrated. I did email him and tell him about a healing service we're having at Alpha this coming Sunday. It'd be great if he'd come, but you never know. I wish he'd talk to me.

I'm swimming in my pants today!! I'm almost at the point where i just can't wear them. I've fluctuated between a couple sizes so the larger one is going to have to go. I think i should pack everything up in that size and give it to a charity. I never want to go back there. Struggling a little, but i'm not giving up. I had my breakfast at home but felt hungry so i'm having my yogurt right now. That counts as my dairy, it's only 85 calories and sweetened with Splenda, yum!

Have a great day! Tonight is the support group, only had one girl last week, but it was how it was suppose to be, she really needed to talk and we got to know eachother better. I think/hope she felt better after our talk. This poor girl has some development problems and a handicapped son and her story is very tragic. She has been abused in a variety of ways by almost ever male in her life, father, brothers, husbands........truly tragic. Be thankful for the great people in your life.

Michele, So happy to hear that you are doing so well on your food program! Wonderful to hear about the girl you helped in the support group - keepup the wonderful work for our Lord, girl! Sue, you have a great time with the Christian Lobby goup - it sounds very interesting! I just love to hear of what you do. You are so involved & such a trooper for God... awesome! I cannot wait for your return telling us all about what you did. MNewton, MargieB, Wilma, Gary, Sprout, MKay, Angie-Wangie, Teel (hope you are okay!) Sami & all you MIA's... miss you! :flow2:

What a great feeling to wake up to :sunny: sunshine and the sound of the birds singing away http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/SunnyD57/BIRDS21.gif

I hope this finds you all doing well... *health* feels so good and we all deserve to feel our best :^: :bubbles:

I have already gotten in my exercise today @ 8am :D What a nice feeling!!! To be able to exercise again and feel so well too!! :smug: I didn't realize how much I missed it! I walked on the T-Mill 1.52 miles this morning - Goal (at the moment) to get in 7 miles at the end of each week right now... then as I improve I will increase it, but I think I can do this. I don't do the T-Mill over the weekend... just too much going on weekends and besides - it gives my body a chance to catch up ;) I hope to begin toning exercises next month 2X a week :crossed:

Oh, I think Mkay was leaving for a week in Florida, leaving last Thursday or Friday. I miss her too...

Sunny, i also notice things like the birds chirping. I noticed the other morning when I took Simba out first thing in the a.m. I thought, well, here it comes. I couldn't see them, but I heard them. I also had a couple fat pigeons hanging out on top of the grainery. When I see a orange breasted Robin in the yard, then it's officially Spring for me! ;) Unfortunately, haven't seen one of them yet.

Hello again, sorry for the absence. I just have email access at work due to finances, etc. but weekends seems so busy trying to get caught up with everything you've missed during the week, not to mention housework which I believe is never done! :(

I agree with ANGIE earlier, you gotta keep moving, you may be on the right track but if you're not moving you're still going to get run over!

Hoping to get my 5 lbs down by St. Patty's Day, I'm at 4 now so maybe I can walk/sweat/work/fret, whatever one more pound. I like making the short goals in reaching for the larger ones as they are more easily obtainable and seems like it's not so depressing or out-of-reach to say I want to lose 10 pounds, instead of wishing for 90!

SUNNYD - I think your 7 miles on the T-mill is obtainable, especially since you've been having so many good days. Isn't it great that they're now stacking up? Hopefully the weather in your area will cooperate with that great feeling too. I walked in the park 1.25 mi on Sunday about 2:30 (40 degrees) and by 4:30 it was snowing and hard! We ended up getting about 5 inches, surprised everyone, especially the weatherman but by yesterday afternoon it was ALL gone, temps made it up to the upper 40's. But alas, we're forecasted for snow again tomorrow night with accumulation, who knows???? :?: Sounds like you also had a great weekend. Going out shopping and dinner, - Chicken Marsala, YUM! :chicken: Love the rainbow and poem at the end of yesterday's post and your St. Patty's doll today, you come up with some of the cutest stuff! Keep up the good work on the T-mill, little by little it all counts.

Mitcheypoo - prayers that Bruce will make it to the healing service, wouldn't that be a wonderful surprise for him to just show up and experience first-hand the love of God? !! :encore: So sorry to hear about you feeling homesick, I can't imagine living away from my family, I live the farthest away from Mom & Dad and I'm only about 15 miles. Hopefully for you too the weather will perk up and you'll also be having better days. :sunny: Congrats also on dropping another size, looks like new clothes in your future!!! Maybe at the MOA?? What yogurt are you eating w/only 85 calories? I've been having Yoplait which is 170. I'm not a big yogurt fan but if I can add a little cereal. . . the crunch seems to make it a little better. :eating2:

I think I read earlier on MKAY's post that she was coming back today, so maybe she'll get on soon. . .want to see some pics also from EZ when he gets back. . .

mnewton - glad to hear your son's birthday was such a success and such beautiful weather for it. :sunny: It's next to impossible to plan and outside birthday party in March! Sounds like your church also has a large & active youth group, sounds like you also have a large church. Our total congregation is listed at about 125 but unfortunately as of late we've only been having about 60 attend regularly on Sunday morning worship.

I'll sign off today with a little note a friend left me. . . "life might not be the party we hoped for but while we're here we might as well dance " . . . I hope you dance - Margie

Hello Everyone! I am happy to hear that everyone had a great weekend. :)

:cheer: Praise Report! Praise Report! Channon had to have another surgery because the brain fluid started leaking again out of the incision in her head. So they went in and took out the shunt that is used to drain the fluid in her brain into her stomach. What we are praying for now is that the ventricles in her brain will swell. That would indicate that her brain is functioning on its own and she would not need another shunt put back in. Also, the tumor is shrinking!!!!!!! So that of course is a wonderful sign and they are talking about taking it out sooner than later. They were planning on taking it out when she turned 1 year, but now they are saying it will probably be sooner than that! PTL!!!! She is not having anymore seizures! PTL !!! So things are going great! She is in a little pain and not wanting to eat or swallow so pray for her comfort and that all will go well with her. :goodvibes

SunnyD - Good job on the treadmill. I am praying that your great days continue and that the weather will behave so you can get out too and enjoy the fresh air. I actually love the snow and my kids were very disappointed when it snowed for 15min and then was all gone. Well, hopefully that just means we will have a really hot summer. :sunny:

Mithchypoo - I am praying for your friend as well. It would be wonderful if he could make it and just be touched by the Holy Spirit. :grouphug: I am also praying for your the girl that was in your support group. Sometimes life can get really hard, but when we know Christ, we have that peace that surpasses all understanding, and somehow we know that He will take what the devil meant for evil and turn it around for our good, to His glory! I know this and am a living testimony of that! So, I pray that she will meet God and let Him in, her life will never be the same. :cloud9:

doitforme - I am praying for Maryanne. With what I have been going through with my niece, I have a new perspective of the disease and a new faith for healing!! I am believing!

What a wonderful blessing to be able to be apart of God's plan and standing up for what the Word of God says. Our church is doing some lobbying as well. One of our pastors is the speaker for Mayday for Marraige and we are letting our voices be heard and letting our legislature know that we are here and we do not agree. We are also praying for and with them. It is amazing how many want and even ask for prayer when the cameras are pointed away. That is a wonderful thing, because what we cant do, God can!!

Mitchy- So glad your feeling better, always makes my day when pants are getting too big and have to buy new. I like shopping anyway, that is always fun. Pray Bruce comes to healing service. That can trully make a difference. I am thankful for the men in my life as well as my christian brothers in my church family. They are all special in their own way.
Sunny- Thanks ! You are always so upbeat, and sweet. I am so happy tohear you are eling better, and pray for complete wellness. We have a special day ever year, called Legislative Day where Christian from all over the state meet at Albany our capital. They have special speakers that tell you what is going on and how to combat it. Even recognize the fact it is happening. We signed petitions to our wonderful senators Hillary, and shumer. Asking them to ask their party to stop blocking and fillabustering all of Bush'es supreme court nominees. We also have signed letters to our senator and assemblyman asking them to oppose the addition of 5 new cassinos in N.Y. and the taxing of church property, and to support the defense of marriage act ect. We learned how the gay agenda is carried through our schools with different groups that invade in elementary schools. There are several that with ACLU cooperation reinforce the gay agenda under the guise of being for kids that are bullyed ect. It was very interesting.

doitforme

We also had a speaker that is very knowledgeable about stem cell research, and how there are two different types embryonic and adult. The embryonic actually involves cloning and there has been no recorded success with Ebryonic stem cells, but huge success with adult stem cells, which are very easily harvested from umbilical cords, and from adults them self with our the killing of anyone. It was very interesting. We also got support and oppose letters for our assembly and senators that show our position. It felt good to be able to stand for something inportant, and try to make an impact.[/COLOR]
Mnewton- Thanks so much for your prayers, and so happy to hear that Channon is doing better. We find out the results from her tests next Tuesday. So will keep ya posted.
I gotta get going, gotta work today days so I can be with my kids tonight. I pretty much set my own schedule on wed. I also have a prayer request for my DAD. He is having a nuclear heart scan tom. to rule out any new issues with his heart. It is enlarged, and he has high bp, and congestive heart failure. He has been haveing alot of Stomach issues, gas, bloating , upset ect. The doc, wanted to rule out any contributing factore from his heart. So pray for a good scan, with no problems Thanks ! Hi to all MIA's ! BYE!

:D Smiling all over myself this afternoon, went to school to pick up my daughter for lunch and out came 4 of her classmates and jumped in our car (I drive a toyota!). :o Needless to say there was a lot of giggling going on to and from McDonalds. I really enjoy being with the kids, especially when everyone is getting along and just having a good time.

MNEWTON - PLT for Channon's good report and no more seizures! Continued prayers for the pain control, yet things are looking up for her, how wonderful!! :) I agree with you, I also enjoy the snow but I enjoy it a lot more when I can stay home! Hopefully though we'll not have too hot a summer, the humidity here gets me down -physically- real fast and that's a horrible feeling when you get heat exhaustion, yuck!

doitforme - What an experience to see the legislature first-hand! So many people just don't care but to actually have a hands-on experience, annually!, :smug: that's great and what good information you've received on adult stem cell research without abortion! Will also remember your Dad, especially tomorrow, for good outcome of his testing. I have never heard of a nuclear heart scan, sounds pretty intense, can this be done as outpatient? Keep us up on the progress.

Temps say 40 today but windchill is about 32/33 but starting tomorrow forecast gives us 50's through next week, rain most days but still yet 50's! I think my bulbs will like this :) Makes me wnat to get out and dig around in the dirt a little.

Enjoy your day!!! - Margie

Margie B - For prayers for my dad, I had never heard of one before, but it is done out patient. Supposedly they inject you and then you have to wait a couple hours then they have you do like a stress test but they can actually observe the heart I guess. Pray it all goes well and they find no problems.
I really enjoy legislative day. We brought some materials back to church with us, letters people can send to senators, and assembly people saying were we stand on issues so all they have to do is sign them and send them. We also are doing a petitions for them to stop filabustering the bush nominees. It is neat, Christians have been complasent for so long that we need to be more vocal about all the changes coming down the pike.
I lost another pound, which is majorly surpriseing since I ate alot more yesterday. But I was good today! Have a good one!

I'm back from vacation. It was a different vacation. First...I'm printing 15 pages of posts and I'm going to read them while Gary is under the knife tomorrow. His heel is being put back together. After I read each one, I will be caught up and will post either tomorrow night or Friday perhaps from work.

I gained weight so now I'm totally disgusted with myself. I'd show you the beach pics but one may get confused with a beached whale. :(

Anywhoooo...Welcome newcomers who are not so new anymore! I'm going to eat healthier tomorrow...yes, even hospital food.

Michele...got the pendant...cool beans! I will create you a really nice necklace to put it on.

I just may send you pics of our experience these past 6 days in FL where MOST people go to hit the sun every day!

Later and many hugs to all!

Just took off G's splint and WOHA!!!!! Swollen larger than ever. I have a feeling it's infected...but I'm no nurse. They wanted it NOT swollen so they could do surgery on it and being NOT swollen helps prevent infection. The swollen goes up to his knee. I'm worried that they will NOT do the surgery. BUT...he just won't listen to anyone. He's been hopping around working his heating/cooling job and driving with the left foot. In my opinion, he's misused his resting time for his heel to come down. Right now, I am angry with him and he appears to be somewhat nervous and wanting me to get bags of ice for him. I'm sure he's not iced it in over a week. He will need prayers for that swollen leg, foot to go down. Thanks all!

Hi all! Yes, a chance to post.

doitforme...I'm a slug...I just ate like a pig just now. I MUST get a grip. I WILL NOT beat myself up over it though.

Michele...no kidding about not messing with it. Surgery went very well. 1.5 hours and 10 screws later along with a block to numb the leg for a couple of days...he's feelin great! The doc WILL talk to him tomorrow regarding the misuse of his foot...cuz I tattled. :dizzy: Too bad...so sad. Did I tell you I received the pendant? I'm losin it. I will have fun with that one. Wow, too bad about the gal that was abused by everyone in her life. YIPEE!!! Swimming in the winter...you go girly girl! Ya know, I remember that feeling last summer when I wore a pair of shorts on our vacation in AR. I miss that. Just for that...I'm GONNA do really good tomorrow! Thank you! I saw a lady in the hospital cafeteria today that I almost asked her what her name was. She had your georgeous hair and fair complextion and was striking...but I figured that if you were going to be in Grand Rapids, you'd probably mention it.

Sunny...Where's the "warm" sun? It appeared nice today...but it was still cold today. I love the pics. I'll bet they are warm and cuddly up next to you.

Mnewton...What was wrong with your niece? I didn't find it in the 50 pages I printed off for bedside reading at the hospital today. Yes, I printed at least 50 pages...too funny. And then, they weren't in real good order. Oh well...welcome!

MargieB...sounds like you like to garden? I like the "idea" of it, but to really do it more than the one time to plant in the spring...I guess it's not my thing. My sisters LOVE it.

Well, signing off for right now, I may ck in again later tonight or maybe wait until tomorrow a.m. at work.

Hugs and prayers for everyone!

Just a quick edit...as my new avatar shows...I'm going to blossom and take better care of myself. And...Michele...great calligraphy!

Well Mkay~You made me feel great today!! To think that someone you thought was striking could have been me??? How sweet you are...and glad you liked the calligraphy too. I do that for work on bday cards, etc. It's another hobby that i taught myself, i really want to take a class and get better at it. I did all my announcements when i graduated from HS, i wrote out my picture cards and people were quite impressed.

So glad to hear DH is doing well. And don't you worry about telling on him, it was for his own good and you did what any good wife would do i think. I'm so glad you are home! :grouphug: So you like my japanese pendant? I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Sunny~How are you sweets?

Margie~You sound very busy, but i'm glad you are w/us.

Sue~love your pics, thanks for sharing them.

Haven't WI in a week, have had a bad week, feel out of control. But i'll bite the bullet tomorrow and go in. We are getting a lot of snow today. May get 9-12 inches by tomorrow.

Bruce said today in an email that he's doing better now but had an attack and couldn't talk well and he was ashamed...? :?: I emailed him and told him not to be ashamed with me, and that i wanted to call him. He said he could feel that i was praying for him. I'm still so worried and just wish he'd talk to me. I told him that i understood if he wasn't interested in me but that I thought he was worth getting to know.

:coffee: First things first. Mmmmm...nice and warm on a really snowy and blowing day. The kind I like to just veg...actually, I like to veg on any given day.

Mitchy...Calligraphy...If you want to get more into it...let me know. I took calligraphy for 8 years with a nun here in town. Sr. Servatia was her name. A brief history: When I was 30 yrs old during class I excused myself to use the restroom where I lit up and she walked in. She must've known I was going out for a cigarette (don't smoke anymore). I watched her waddle her way back, then she eventually used a walker, then onto a motorized wheelchair, then taught in the basement at the house where her medical issues were more monitored, then to her bed where she eventually passed away. She told me something back then that "I should've" listened to but went my own way. Makes me sad sometimes...but... Anyway, back to calligraphy. I have soooooo many books, pens, paper...you name it. I have boxes of stuff and I really don't play with it very much anymore. I don't know too many people that have this as a hobby as well...welcome to each others world!

I think "if" Bruce is not interested, he's found a great person to share his humbling experiences with and have a great compassionate friend. Actually, I think that everyone on this post could have their "not-so-pretty" sides exposed and we would all just hug each other more. :grouphug:

Can you tell I'm PMSing. Sometimes I get emotional. Like most of the time. :dizzy:

I talked to a man last night who runs our local Comfort Keepers. It's where they hire people to visit, take shopping, play games, etc with the elderly. I told him I could do it 3x a week and some weekends. It is a paying job and why not earn doing something I really like. He's sending me an application in the mail. I'm going to visit their website today to see what it's all about.

I have to get moving today. I have stuff to drop off to the Shepherd's House and then off to see DH and maybe play some more cribbage with him, unless they've disconnected his pain block...then I might go home.

I have a prayer request for anyone who's reading...

Please pray for my emotional/mental/spiritual strength when dealing with life, marriage, DH, etc. Thank you!

Well off to prepare for my day and brush away all this snow from my car... :(

Hugs and Have a Blessed Day!

I get so stressed just before these checkups. September 2000 I was operated on - they told me they got it all - no need for chemo or radiation. Summer of 2003 it was back so I spent 8 weeks having radiation. So it is just about 2 years again since it came back. This past Wednesday went to Calgary to the Cancer hospital for the checkup - they have to put me to sleep for the checkup due to all the scar tissue. Before having the exam Doc said that if all looked well he would then recommend coming back in 12 months rather than 6 months. After the exam and when I was awake he said all looked really well, but that of course he had to do pap so we have to wait for 3 weeks for the results - in 2003 they said it looked ok too but it had come back - but I am taking him on his word again this time that all is ok and that I don't need to have another checkup for 12 months. But have to be patient till this time next month for the biopsy results. Talked to him about the IBS as it has been flairing up and wanted to know how to tell the difference between that and if the cancer had moved on. He informed me that the damage from the radiation did not just leave scar tissue in the vagina but that due to all the radiation that the intestines and bowels would have been affected to some degree also which in turn would make the IBS worse - no wonder I have been having more 'attacks'. He mentioned that he knew milk and milk products would aggrivate it so to stay of them and to possibly talk to the dietition on things she would know that would give a flare up - and of course to avoid all stress (guess I need to be a hermit to do that right). Am just getting over a bad attack of it - seems to be calming down somewhat so am now going to have to get really serious about my food - learning more re what is healthy for me to eat due to the cancer and IBS - like eating bland food - yuk just when I like things spicy!!!

Have not gotten weighed for some time but should do this on Monday. Am waiting for our van to be repair - put in a new rad and thermostat but need some more work also so it is about $1,000 worth when we get finished. It is old (1989) but did not cost us anything to purchase it so really can't complain - but just when we think we are getting ahead something breaks down.

Am looking into getting a digital scale for the bathroom - more accurate than the old bathroom one we have and it would save me having to check in at the doctors office weekly. Also would help with monitoring daughter's weight also.

Puppy: Koko is growing - and what a 'pain' at times. He is into rearranging everything - have to keep all the doors to all the rooms of the house closed otherwise he causes havoc in them. He has not learned how to climb up the stairs from the rec room so he won't stay on the same level of the house with us any more - but he hasn't figured out how to come down them yet. He travelled well with us when we went out of town for my medical checkup -but didn't appreciate his harness - we have to work more with him as he does not want to have it put back on - trying to be the alpha dog with us when he sees the harness. But he is learning - when we call him and are upset with him he comes quickly and then rolls over onto his back with his legs straight up in the air - look funny - but he is showing that he is trying to be submissive. His hair is starting to come in more also - but it will be some more months yet before we know just how long/short and curly it will be. He definitely knows that he has won us over and really does a number on us. We had him to the vet on Friday as he got 'bunged' up - vet said -'what a beautiful pup and so submissive' - yet to him he was but not us - vet gave a us a quick lesson and it seems to be working - with me anyway - with Norm another story but getting better.

Anyway, have been reading all the posts - prayers going up to for everyone.

Gary: by the way was going to mention to you - we live in BC Canada - just north of where you new house is - have to figure out some time just how much of a drive it would be - could be that the four of us could meet when you are moved.

Hi, I'm new here and would like to join you here. My name is Brenda and I am from Washington State. I am a Christian. I just joined WW 6 weeks ago and have lost 18.2 pounds since then. This is a new experience for me because I have never really tried to lose weight before. I have a long road ahead of me and I try not to think about it, because it really is a new lifelong long journey that I will be on. I joined 3fatchicks before but I could not remember my password or my name. I got an email that had my name was Stampy but as hard as I tried I could not find my password so ended up just registering. If the password was in the email from 3fatchicks, I sure could not find it.

More about me... I am married 25 years this September and have two children; an 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter. I will try to check in here when I can. I also work full time.

Check out my signature. I'm down another 3 lbs. This eating plan and exercise is working. YEAH! Maybe I will be down a size by the time I buy a dress for the wedding.

I want to thank you all for your prayers for my job situation and please keep on. I did apply for the job and decided to leave it in God's hands. I have an interview tomorrow afternoon. It'll be kind of scary for me even though I know my manager respects me and my work ethic.

Gary: It's so good to see you back. I did miss you! It's nice to see pics of you at work. What is your timing as far as moving in?

Brenda: Welcome here. This is a great group of people who are here to cheer you on as well as listen to your struggles.

Sprout: Great news about your check up even though the news about the IBS isn't so great. Maybe things will settle down for you. Your pup sounds like he's quite the character.

mkay: My prayers are with you. May you feel God's peace as you go through the struggles of daily living.

Michele: I sure hope you don't get all that snow. We still have so much and it's kind of depressing to see more come down on top of that. Don't be discouraged about having a bad week. We all have those. Pick yourself up and keep going. Praying for you.

Hello to everyone else. I've run out of time and have to get going to work.

Trust everyone had an awesome Palm Sunday! Just reflecting on the meaning of the day when Christ entered Jerusalem as a King. People then had their own agenda and expectations (as we often do) thinking He would free them from the Romans. Thencrucifying Him less than a week later. Here is a poem I put in our church bullitin, that I thought I would share.

HUMBLE YET HOLY

Humble, yet holy a donkey rode in
Hosanna, Hosanna we sing to our king
Palm leaves and coats were thrown on the ground
Hosanna, Hosanna there's joy all around

Jesus rode in on the humblest of beasts
Hosanna, Hosanna prepare for the feast
Astride a colt and claimed as King
That Sunday morning in the spring

For not even a week would pass by Him when
The crowd would shout "crucify Him" then
But Jesus knew then He was destined to die
Hosanna, Hosanna He looked to the sky

Father forgive them for what they do
Hosanna, Hosanna your words must come true
For the future of man and the promises you gave
Hosanna, Hosanna I go to my grave

His followers took His body down and laid it in a tomb
With heavy hearts and crying eyes and voices filled with gloom.
But Jesus had a job to do and needed these three days.
To smash the enemy's fortress claiming victory all the way.

Then He took His victory over death and sin.
He presented it to His Father with the blood He'd wrapped it in,
After this because of Love He showed Himself once more
To the folks who mourned His passing when He died just days before.

Though we do not see Him in the flesh as they did then.
It's just as true our Savior lives, for us there'll be no end!
All we need do is accept, and believe, that He died to set us free
I know , I know my Savior lives, He's waiting there for me.
And I'll walk and talk with Jesus right into eternity.
