Has anyone out there tried the WW Smart Ones desserts???
I had the Choc. Chip cookie dough sundae -- It was out of this world!!! http://www.3fatchicks.com/ubb//love.gif
I was really suprised that it would be soooo tasty.
It was 4 points and worth every bit of that.
I had a light lunch and just need that extra something, now I am addicted. What a great way to get a MILK in.

When I first started WW last May I used to have the Mississippi Mud dessert almost daily. It was that good. But I've moved and am having a hard time finding it now. If I remember right it was 3 points, but I don't think it would count as a dairy. Have also tried the cheesecakes but was not impressed. The eclairs are ok, but the Mississippi Mud was my favorite. Just thinking about it makes me want to search one last time to see if I can find it in my area!

I am unable to find the Miss. Mud Pie in S. Ca. either. My leader didn't think they made it any more but I've heard others mention it in their posts. Probably east coast. I like the Cookie Dough and always keep some on hand I do not care for the Choc Mousse. There is a Brownie one (not in the cups) maybe a la Mode that is good. Double Fudge Cake is good. Double Fudge Brownie Parfait is o k. The ice cream in it gets icy hard.
For cheesecake try the Sara Lee Cheesecake Bites. 2 pts each. They are very good.

I love the WW deserts. I have one every night after my dinner. I have heard people say "You should really limit your sweets to 3 times a week"!! I say boloney, I've lost 166 lbs. and have enjoyed my sweet every night!!! My favorite ones are the double fudge cake, chocolate mousse and the choc. chip cookie dough.
You need to have some enjoyment in this journey!!!

The "limit yourself to three times a week rule" by the way, is old old old. Weight Watchers does NOT say that in their current Winning Points Materials. They suggest limiting "high sugar high-fat foods" I do not consider low-fat, calorie reduced items to be part of that mix. Also-even with the "high-sugar high fat foods" they no longer say 3 times a week. They leave that up to you.
And I have never followed that rule even when it was part of their "commandments" I never would have gottne to goal with out my sweets.
Three times a day is more like it for me.
As of the Weight Watcher treats. They certainly do still make that wonderful Mississippi Mud Pie- all the Kroger stores and Farmer Jacks in Michigan have it. They also make a great Double Fudge Cake, a chocolate parfait, and yummy 3 point chocolate Elcairs. These items have been around a while. Including a number of things I can no longer find. They haven't come out with anything new in a long time. Guess the market out there is giving them too much competition. There are so many lo-cal treats that other people would sooner buy. Too bad. I miss the great variety they used to have.

Garfield,
I didn't say that to put you in attack mode, my sister recently joined WW's and that is what they told her. Don't shoot the messenger!!!
I love the WW choc chip sundae. I also recomend Schwann's Chocolate frozen yogurt and their Praline Almondine Sundae (low fat) both come to 2.5 POINTS.

Fat for Life, after a 166 lb. weight loss, I don't think so. But with your attitude, you'll be sure to gain all you've lost!!!

The desserts are so great! 3-4 points for something so delightful! 3 times a week? Nope! I say if you've got points, you've got dessert!
I like the strawberry ones, myself. The cookie dough is great, but strawberry is my favorite.

I commend you on your 166 lb loss ! I think the fat 4 life comment was totally uncalled for.
My mom is a lifetime member and leader with a loss of 60 lbs and she has had a dessert every night since she started and has maintained within 5 lbs. You are very right you have to have enjoyment. I myself just ate too much of a good thing but when I got into gear I had a dessert evey night myself, which cut the cravings to binge and I lost steadily up to 50 lbs.
I gained back 25 lbs out of sheer laziness and alot of depression from my marriage but the funny thing is I did it without sweets my sheer downfall! Now I just have to wait until I have this baby before I get back into the WW thing, but havent gained yet this pregnancy so wish me luck!
Fit 4 life keep up the good work..... Oh geez the whole point of my message was I havent tried the WW desserts but I have made my own 4 pt sundaes with lowfat chocolate syrup and lowfat ice cream and whipped cream. mmmm.
Where do you find ww ones?

I have found my WW Desserts at our local Big Bear and Krogers. They vary in price from $1.57 to $3.29. There are coupons on the journals that we get at our meetings, $1 off of three (I think) which is great when they have a super double coupon week. I have also gotten them at a SuperWalmart and I think they had the best price.
The choc. chip cookie is great!!!
I haven't tried any more--yet but this week I am sure I will need them :)

Smart Ones ice cream sandwiches are yummy as well, only 3 points each. They're so good, my non-dieting hubby has willingly switched and is now brand loyal.

Thanks for all the support. I guess the only thing I can say that has brought me this far is "determination"!! I have been obese all my life and was tired of living like that. Weight Watchers is truly a lifesaver. The program is the best out there and if you work it, you'll see results. All cards have to be played, which means being true to your points, exercising and drinking your water. I wish everyone out there the best of luck.
Annie: I actually like the Hood Light Ice Cream sandwiches. They seem more creamier to me than WW and they are also 3 points. If you have them in your area, give them a try.

Thank you, Brenda, that's a very good point :)
And after reading this thread, my stomach is really growling!! It's nearly 1am and the only thing sweet in this house is cranberry juice, lol! That's not good enough, I want a WW cheesecake!!
Does anyone remember the WW Brownie cheesecakes from a few years ago? I really don't think they make them anymore, I haven't seen them in ages. But it was a thin brownie layer topped with a chocolate chip cheesecake, and was out of this world!
