I am so po'd about the fact that I am not losing weight. I am exercising pretty good, I went to the gym 4 times this week, did 40 minutes of cardio each time, worked up a good sweat, got my heart rate up and did some weight training. Okay so that is all good. I cannot control my eating. No matter what my best intentions are I am eating like absolute crap. I know for a fact that I will lose weight with this plan as I did it last year for 2 weeks and even though I was not on it 100% I lost 6 lbs in that time.

So I've got my plan written up and tacked on the fridge and this is where I am going to come for the next 14 days to report my successes or failures (none of those!!!). I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning and I"m hoping I will see at least a 5 lbs loss over those 2 weeks. That would be wonderful, anything more would be a terrific bonus.

Good morning all. I weighed in this morning at 228.2 lbs. Feels like I"ve been bouncing between about 226-230 lbs for weeks. Anyway I'm going to journal here to keep me honest!

Feb. 6

Breakfast - 3/4 c oatmeal, 1 c 2% milk, apple
Lunch - 3 1/2 all beef weiners (no buns), 2 c green beans (cooked from frozen with 1/2 tsp butter and salt/pepper), carrot sticks
Dinner - pizza hut pizza stix (about 6 or equivalent of 2 slices of pizza), carrot sticks

Yes I know I didn't have a protein serving with my breakfast! I just like my oatmeal in the AM. I am going to buy some whole wheat bread so that occassionally I can have a poached egg on whole wheat toast. Also I'm going to buy some low fat sausages and just nuke one a day for breakfast. Have to do some major grocery shopping today! Also I know pizza stix are not exactly on plan either but I promised my husband we would have pizza before I'd decided to start this plan and as I ate moderately I don't feel bad about it.

Good morning again. Weighed in this morning at 227.6lbs, see it's working already!

Breakfast - 3/4 c oatmeal, 1 c 2% milk (eating really late this morning so I"m just going with this)

No gym today as I"m at home with a sick toddler but maybe when he has his nap I'll be able to do a workout video or something.

You are a doing a great job with the workouts! much better than myself...

Ill be checking back on here a lot now as I am also trying to get off my constant wieght that I have been at a while.
Food for thought (ha!)
If you feel like you are doing something great and still not loosing weight, take a look at the other portion (food or excersise) and see how you can improve that area to get both parts in a good and healthy spot to start loosing. I'm sure everyone here knows this, but its nice to have it spelled out sometimes.
Realizing that area will help with the rocket start of wieght loss that I am SURE you are going to do!!!

Keep up the great work!!! :D
