Does anyone know or anyone, or have you ever gotten pregnant after a vasectomy? My girlfriend is worried she may be pregnant again and is afraid to test. Just curious how common it is!

I work for a urologist and if the vas isn't sealed sperm can still get through. It is not very common as most vasectomies the vas is sealed. Tell her to spend the $8 and do a home pregnancy test...being afraid isnt' going to change it if she is. spryng 08-31-2004, 03:52 PM how long has he had the vasectomy?? if it's been recently then yes, she could definitely be pregnant!! You have to use a backup method for several weeks (or so many "releases" if you know what I mean) before he is considered fixed.
