Just finished 3 hours of yard work. mowed front , pulled weeds, planted bedding plants. worked up a
pretty good sweat. feels good though

Since I could not make myself get up this morning in time to exercise before work, I had to go for my walk this evening.

I walked 30 minutes - really fast paced! whew it sure is harder to do that at the end of the day rather than first thing! But I got it in today! yippee!

Wasn't in the mood to walk, but got out there anyhow and did my 4.5 miles-of course, afterwards, I was happy I went!:)

I actually walked yesterday!!!! It took me 45 minutes to do the less than 2 miles that I used to be able to do in about 20 minutes. :(

I'm so stiff and it's so hard to get back into this....but....I WILL!!

Hi! New to this thread. Hit the gym last night and did 30 minutes of cardio burning 365 calories on the eleptycal bike (which I hate)!

SUNDAY---
Haven't posted anything here all week, so here's a one-time synopsis of the whole week.
Everyday this week: I did my am and pm yoga. This is really more of an inner exercise than an outer. But I guess any extra stretching can't help.
Friday: Finally got on the treadmill. (First time all week) With my bookrack I can't tell how far I go, so I am measuring in terms of minutes. Did 25 minutes. Even ran for about 45 seconds and thought I was going to buy the farm.
Sunday: Back on the TM. Today did about 27 minutes. Really worked up a good sweat. At the 20 minute mark, I ran for 1 minute, then rested for 1 minute and ran 30 seconds more.

I am so out of shape. But will continue to add more running time bit by bit. I really salute the runners in the group. It's so hard and I admire that you can go the distance without stopping. My short-term goal would be to do 5 minutes without stopping. That will come. Hopefully.

Saturday: walked 1 mile

Cardio 30 minutes/ 925 reps/ burned 156 cals... my longest time do this machine yet. Pulse no higher than 120, so improving!!

Totals for the week:
walked only 8 miles
cardio 56 min/ 1590 reps/ 281 cals burned

Missed 2 days of exercises this week & feel like I am lacking. Hope to do better next week.
