Today was my weight lifting day - bench press, leg extensions, leg curls, barbell curls, rowing, triceps.....stretches after-ward.
My weightlifting is pretty weak, I hope to be able to add more weights soon!
Walked 4.3 miles/67 minutes

Had my best walk ever!! Walked my 4.5 miles in 57 minutes, 35 seconds!! WOO HOO!!!!!!:spin:

Monday: Walked 2 miles
Tuesday: Walked 2 miles
Gonna try to walk more next week. Don't know yet. Depends on how my knee feels.

I didn't walk or do anything yesterday.
I did weights this morning. There's a great web site mentioned on the first page of the weight lifting thread in the exercise forum that gave me some great information.

Really didn't feel like walking, got up late and just wasn't in the mood. BUT...I ended up going my usual 4.5 miles, and once I got going, I was glad I did!:D

Tues-40 Buns of steel step
Wens-50 min. walk started out only having time to do 40 minutes but it was soooooo nice out i just kept going! I can't wait for summer i think i will walk all day!
Thurs-1 hr The Firm weights -this is my plan!
Fri-40 min step tape
Saturday-1hr The frim or walk- that will give me 5 days! woo hoo (i guess 6 would be better :spinning: )

GREAT EXERCISING GUYS!
Doesn't it feel good when you get thru!
I am fixing to put on my tennis shoes and go walk for 45 minutes at the mall during my lunchhour!
The humidity must be about 200% today so I'm sure my naturally curly hair will look like a great big old SOS pad when I get back - oh the sacrifices we make! hehe

Wednesday . . . DH, Miss M and I walked 1 mile tonight at the park. My plan is to do two more times this week. Starting out slow and building up. Weather was great tonight. Saw a bunch of runners. Really want to get to that ability!!!!!

walked 5 miles this evening, took me 1 hr & 20 min...was I exhausted! I din't realize the distance till I checked it tonight & really think I over did it. Was trying out a new route.

Add to yesterday - 20 min. walk with Hubby.
This morning 20 min. on the treadmill. I hit 1 mile around 18 minutes. I had been walking 2 miles in about 30 minutes so I've still got some work to do to get back up to where I was before getting sick.
I found that if I move the speed around every minute or so I can get my speed up a little quicker. I go from 3.2 to 4 to 3.4 to 3.8 to 3.6 and then trying to go back down to 3.2 feels too slow!

Good Morning girls! I FEEL GREAT!
After walking at the mall yesterday for 45 minutes during my lunchhour, when I got back to office I was DAMP (we southern girls don't sweat) from the top of my head to the tip of my toes and I felt sooooooooo yucky. So I decided that I would get up early this morning and get my exercise in before getting ready for work.
So last night I got everything ready (put the tape in the vcr, put out the shoes and the sports bra) and set my alarm for 5:15.
When the alarm went off this morning I rolled myself out of bed and did 30 minutes of Walk Aerobics in my living room! I feel great and I'm really glad to have my exercise behind me for the day!
I have already had 40 oz of water too!
Keep on trucking!

WOW DEB you are doing great! You have almost walked from my house to my job this week!!! Wow!
Well today is Friday and I am soooooo tired! It has really been a long week, but I still made myself get up when that alarm went off at 5:15 and did my 30 minute Advanced Walk Aerobics tape again! I did not feel too perky while I was doing, but I am feeling better now.
At least I have my exercise behind me for today :smug:

FRIDAY MORNING . . . Miss Maddie and I got in 1.5 miles today at the park. Beautiful morning!!! Hardly anyone there so she could run off lead AND THEY WERE PANTING PANSIES!!!!!! I love that. Spring has finally arrived.

Friday afternoon - Badminton - played 4 games at least.

SATURDAY . . . DH, Maddie and I did 1.5 miles at the park. Mid afternoon and it was getting hot. I think I could have gone on and done another half, but Maddie was really panting for all it's worth. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get out there earlier and try to go to 2.
I LOVE BEING ABLE TO POST ON THE EXERCISE BOARD. I feel so energetic!!!

SUNDAY . . . Walked 1.5 miles this morning. Getting hotter and more humid here each day. Feels good to sweat finally!!!
My total was 6 miles for the week. Goal was to walk three times, I managed to get in four walks. Feel great about that!
