Under Active Thyriod

Has anyone out there had success losing weight with an underactive thryoid. I was dign, 10 years ago and medicated but I have continuously gainned weight. I'm not blaming my thyroid but just looking for some encouragement I guess.

I was diagnosed 6 years ago. You should go to About.com, they have great thyroid info there!! I haven't lost weight yet, but due to their info my Dr changed my meds two weeks ago and he says this should help me improve.

What are you taking now?? I was taking .125 of Synthroid, now I take 180 Mg of Armour Thyroid.

Thank you for the info I will check out that site. I am on 100 mcg of eltroxin.
