Hi,

Do you have any suggestions for an alternative for breadcrumbs to bread chicken, fish, etc. Also what can I use to replace flour when the recipe calls for dredging in flour. I read about arrowroot as a thickener...can I use this stuff in place of flour :?:

Try protein powder, either whey or soy. Most nuts can be ground finely and used for breading as well. I assume we are talking baking, rather than deep frying here?

Thanks for your reply...I will try to find the protein powder. Yes, I usually bake the chicken or fish but I sure wish I could "fry" it because it tastes soooo very good :o
