What are the basic guidelines I am looking for when I find or create whole recipes? I'm just swell at picking out ingredients...but as far as putting them all together, it isn't as easy. For phase 2, is there a 'maximum' guideline I should be looking at? I thought I read in the book 3g of sugar per serving for foods, but I might be mixed up there. I can't find where I read that.

Does anybody have a rule of thumb handy? I am afraid of falling too much into a low carb or low fat train of thought...
