Carb cutters/blockers?

Does anyone know anything about these? DH is doing Low carb and has asked me so i turned to my best sourse.

I picked up a bottle to read the ingredients the other day in Walgreens, and all it had in it were white beans! Thats it! I cant figure out how beans help block the starch, when there is starch in beans. :shrug:

I think a lot of these types of products don't really work - just a hoax to get your $$.

I have only heard of one person ever that thought it worked for her. She was also cutting back carbs, so who knows. Other than that, the only good info I have ever read on it was in their own advertisements.
