I am 2 weeks into Sugar Busters and have lost 2 pounds. I lost those the first week. This past week I went up and down by a pound each day and ended up losing nothing more. I read the new book and nowhere did I find portion amounts to go with the general glycemic index. Also, I am not looking to lose an enormous amount of weight-just 10 pounds-I have a very small frame and the 10 pounds I have put on are like 40 on someone else-Can I do it on Sugar Busters?
Very Depressed:(

Yes you can lose! But as you've said your only looking to lose 10 pounds so it's going to take longer. It's funny how closer to your goal weight the harder it is to come off!
It would help you if you get some exercise at least three times a week. Normal portions when you eat. Your food should not overhang the edges of the plate. No seconds. It helps some people if they break their meals into 4 or 5 instead of 3 meals a day. This keeps your "engine" running which burns more calories throughout the day. Don't skip meals! Eat breakfast. Skipping meals buts your body into hording energy mode because it doesn't know when more food is going to show up.
If you can lose a pound a week then that is really good so close to goal.
