The book contains much more information than we can share here.

It can be bought at any local bookseller or discount store. I bought mine at WalMart for $17.47.

Online choices:

Buy.com currently has it for $15.71 with free shipping (no minimum purchase, but they don't always offer the free shipping option) (http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=b8qrFAgZEE0&offerid=37803.115714702&type=10&subid=)

Amazon.com has it for $14.97. Shipping is free with a minimum purchase of $25, so you might want to pick up a cookbook while you are at it. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1579546463/3fatchionadie)

I ordered mine through Amazon. They're usually quick but I checked today and they said expect it at the end of next week. :(

Susan, most of the time I order from Amazon, my order arrives well before the due date. Maybe your's will come early!

Paid 35 bucks Canadian here. I thought free trade was supposed to reduce prices for us. I really do think it was worth the money.

I'm waiting for mine - bought it at buy.com with free shipping BUT the free ship means they use media mail which takes 10 days or so. Ahhh, there's always somekind of trade-off, eh?

Anyway, it's good to have something to look forward to (trying for the positive spin).

Blessings + cheers Chickies!

My book came from buy.com yesterday! It only took three days even though they sent it media mail. Pretty impressive... I'm psyched and now that I'm on Day 5, I'm really energized and in a very sunny mood, y'all.

Cheers

Dog ate my first book - wonder if it was in rebellion to me not giving him any Wheat thins or carrots in more than a week.

The second one was $14 at Costco.

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this board, my name is Shari. I am just getting started on the South Beach plan.

I recently purchased the So Beach Diet book at Vitamin Shoppe for 12.50! If you have one in your area you can get it in the store or you can go to their web site and get it for same price.

Yup, I have been doing some research on the South Beach diet and ordered the book through Amazon. It looks doable.

Hi Tippy!

This is an amazing way of eating!! If someone told me two months ago that I would not have any cravings and that I would be satified with only "healthy" foods, I'd say, NO WAY! I feel so much better and the few times (in the last 8 weeks)I decided to have a mouth full of something sinfully good, I paid the price!! Not worth the sour, sick stomach.

Glad you will be joining us!

Is that where the Bay City Rollers were from?

You know what I love about this diet? Apart from everything else. DH and I have been on it for about 5 weeks now. Last week I loaned the book to my parents. Dad wants to lose about 5 pounds before his bypass operation this summer. (if only that's all I had to lose!)
I knew I could loan him the book with no worries because we KNOW the diet! It's so easy! We know the allowed foods, the recipes are easy, and there's nothing to count!
This is the BEST diet/way of life for me.

Another Amazon customer here waiting on her book, and it's killing me :) Decided TODAY WAS THE DAY...couldn't wait on the book any longer.
Went to the store last night, (and like a nerd, had to go back this morning because I had forgotten several of the very important items I needed :)

I will be 35 in Aug. and decided I am tired of always feeling terrible!! So here goes :) second meal on the plan. :dizzy:

I went on-line to check on where my book was and found out that it had not been even sent out yet after 11 days! It was ordered from a place called totalcampus.com used. Well, I cancelled my order immediately and went into the city. I finally found the book at Waldenbooks. The salesman told me that I was lucky to get it as it had just come in. He added that the publisher was all sold out.
Anyway Dh is reading the book as I type. I wanted anyone who is waiting patiently for their book to know that the publisher had been sold out and I bet their book will soon be here.
