A chick on the PCOS board is doing this diet and has lost 30 pounds so far. This is her personal physician. The plan sounds interesting. Wingnut (the member on PCOS board) said the plan focuses on more fruits and veggies, less oil, no sugar or flour. Sounds moderate carb based on the fruit. Wowwwww, to be able to eat fruit!

His website is www.drfuhrman.com .

Hey Jennifer, the Suzanne Somers diet is low carb and you are allowed fruit too. Some people have trouble doing the food combining but I found once you get used to it that it becomes second nature.

I will check out the site you mentioned, sounds interesting :)

hey jennifer.. you KNOW i had to check out his website!!!

looks interesting. and peachie and i LOVE going to his neck of the woods. it's right in the middle of lovely new jersey farm country, and a few minutes from OUTLET SHOPPING HEAVEN .

the most interesting part is that he individualizes plans. i wish he had provided more information about himself, but since this is a marketing tool, ....

You can have fruit on Fat Flush too. It's also considered to be fairly low carb.

Kind of reminds me of the Dr. Bernstein's diet (Ontario gals know who I mean) He runs a clinic in Toronto and essentially has them follow the same diet and also come in for B12 injections.

I think I'll stay with the "one that brung me" I am having such good results with this low carb plan and feel so good doing it that I don't think I'll ever look for another WOE. I was worried the last week when I was :stress: stress eatting that I'd put back on what I'd lost. Although I feel a little bloated, I still did not gain.
