I've been coming across more services that incorporate online and your phone to help you lose weight or eat healthier.

I kinda like the idea of being pestered by my cell to take exercise and use as a food journal, but I need to know if anybody's had any success with this kind of thing.

There's the *********, which is free and there's another called ************* that currently has a free trial going on. The ************* one seems to have more detailed help on dieting, though. I know I could just try them out, and I probably will, but I wondered if anybody had used anything like this and found it worthwhile. ;)

My brother uses his cell phone to track his daily calories. He's lost about 80 lbs so far. You could always set alarms for yourself to go exercise.

I don't know about any of the specifically mentioned programs, though.

How about using your cell phone...or landline...to call a friend when you are hungry, to keep your mind off of food. No extra charge in that, is there?

Thanks for the replies. 80lbs is a great effort. I know the ************* service has a load of free calorie counters and trackers.

I decided to give their free trial a go

I can't see what I've got to lose apart from a few pounds. ;-)

And I don't want to be ringing friends up every time I get a hunger pang - I'd never be off the thing!
